Only You by Miyu Camui

This is my story for Warriors Orochi. I do not own it, so don't sue me. Pairing is Gracia and Mitsunari Ishida. For those who don't know, Gracia is from Warriors Orochi 2 and is Mitsuhide Akechi's daughter. And yes, I am aware that Taigong Wang is a mystic, and shouldn't die. Just bear with me, 'kay?

His red hair flowed in the wind. He closed his eyes, thinking of the one person he hated the most. But then he wondered why he thought of that man. Taigong...he was arrogant, cocky, and nonetheless, dead. A tear fell down his cheek as he turned around.

"Impossible," he muttered and walked toward the castle that loomed in the distance.

"Mitsunari."

Mitsunari glanced up. "Oh, Sun Quan."

Giving Mitsunari a short bow, he said, "I apologize for bothering you, but the situation is very grim. Masamune Date is planning to attack us at Nagashino. Sun Ce and my father have asked me to request your aid."

Mitsunari smiled a little. This was amusing. "The forces of Wu cannot overcome Masamune?"

Sun Quan glanced down and frowned. "This is no laughing matter. He has acquired enough troops to defeat us. That is why we ask for your assistance."

"Have you asked anyone else? I have something urgent to attend to..."

Sun Quan changed the tone in his voice. He was angry and exasperated. "We need your help," he repeated. If anything, Sun Quan was not a patient man.

"Very well," Mitsunari agreed.

Sun Quan bowed again, but this time, he meant it. "Thank you. I shall inform my brother of this. Please wait here."

Mitsunari let Sun Quan leave and sat beneath a sakura tree. The blossoms were beginning to fall and the sun was setting in the sky. The river shone with hues of red, orange, and pink and there was a gentle breeze.

I'm sorry I couldn't save you. I could really use a helping hand right now.

"Excuse me," said a sweet voice.

Mitsunari looked up and saw the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. She had red hair like his and hazel eyes. Her dress was olive green and a headband with a feather adorned on it.

"Why are you crying, sir?"

Touching his face, he realized the young girl was right. He was crying. The tears came even harder and the young girl knelt next to him, grasping his hand. Before he could react, she was kissing his hand and held his hand to her chest. When he looked at her again, he realized she was crying, too. Was she crying because of him? Or did something upset her?

Mitsunari regained his composure and snatched his hand back. "Who are you?" he demanded, not taking his eyes off of her. He absolutely did not want her to be imaginary.

The young girl smiled. "I'm Gracia. We've met before...when I was a little girl."

"We have?"

"Yes. Lord Mitsuhide is my father."

Mitsunari blushed. "You're Mitsuhide's daughter?"

Gracia nodded. "Yes, do I have to explain to you how babies are made as well?"

He shook his head. This couldn't be the same girl he saw ten years ago, it just couldn't. She was grown up now and voluptuous.

"I have to go," Mitsunari said, standing up. Shaking his head, he started to walk away when Gracia caught his hand.

"Please don't go," she begged. "I want to talk more."

Mitsunari sighed and turned around, grabbing her by her shoulders. "I really want to talk also, but there is something I am still not sure of."

Gracia leaned in closer, just inches from his face. "Then tell me. Tell me everything."

Sighing again, Mitsunari began to tell her the story of how he gave up the one person he loved the most, and now hated himself for it.
