When Once I remember
A Unicorns of Balinor Poem
When once I remember
The Unicorn's kiss
Of sweet lavender fields
And roses under moon kisses
I often recall, a certain memory
One that is hard to find these past days
Of a pale moon kissed mare
Named Atlanta
Have you ever heard the wolf cry?
She once asked me
Or hear the yowl of a bobcat in the spring?
I have had to shake my head
Many a times
But this time I remember
Thy wonderful mare
I have heard both these things
Along with thy's beautiful voice
When Once I remember
