My first story I shall be posting here. A couple nights ago, I was listening to my ipod, the song My Obsession by the Parselmouths in particular, and it gave me inspiration for this. I plan to continue this for quite some time. Please review.

I own nothing except the storyline. Characters and the world of Harry Potter belongs entirely to J.K. Rowling.

"Bellatrix," I heard his rough voice growl above me. I continued to lay before him, oblivious of the several dozens of eyes fixated on me, until he kicked me hard in the side. I pushed myself up on my knees, chest heaving. His cold, white hand cupped my chin, turning my head up so I had no choice but to look straight into his taunting, red eyes, leaving my neck open and vulnerable. I felt the tip of his wand digging into the hollow of my throat.

My jaw trembled in his icy hands. His long, bony fingers held tightly to my face. It was amazing how much I now feared the person that was normally the center of my affection. The sole purpose of this cursed life of mine. My reason to wake up in the morning.

"Do you want me to cast the cruciatus curse on you again? Or will you finally decide to cooperate with me?" I shuddered at his tone. "Answer me!" he hissed after he smelled my hesitation.

"I sh-sh-shall cooperate, m-my lord," I groaned, not fully recovered from the first blast from his wand. He let go of me and let me collapse on the solid stone ground.

"I shall grant you mercy this time, Bella, but only because you are young and still have lots yet to learn. But learn quickly, my pet, because the next time you disappoint me I might not be feeling so generous." He gave me a wicked smile before leaving me on the pavement deep within the alleyways of Knockturn Alley. I watched through the thick curtain of my coarse, black hair as the other death eaters walked off with him, including my husband. Of course, he didn't care for me. He only married me for my money and pure heritage. But I didn't care either. My heart belonged to that man who led them. The man who also was the one who caused me the most pain. He possessed me, owned me, and I was his for the rest of my days. But not in the way I wished.

With great effort and not without the bruises being irritated greatly, I dragged myself up. I swayed in place, not steady on my feet. I reached behind me and laced up my corset the best I could without help and trudged along on the wet roads. My hair hung in soaking locks around my head, absorbing the precipitation that landed on it. The streets were empty except for a few stray cats.

It took me a while to figure out that he had also taken my wand from me. I was helpless, alone, left to die by my one master.

When the purple knight bus stopped at the bus stop ahead of me, I hurriedly got on. I pulled the hood of my robes up over my head so my ghostly face couldn't be recognized. I took a seat in the back and hugged myself, still shivering from the brisk weather.

"Where to, miss?" a young man asked when I stumbled on.

"The Malfoy Mansion." He gave me a curious look, but whispered to the driver what I had told him. And in only a few seconds, the bus was parked out in front of the massive mansion. I walked up to the door and knocked twice before waiting for an answer. After a few moments, a small house elf answered the door.

"Good evening, madam," it muttered weakly, and let me in.

"Who is it?" I heard Lucius' harsh voice spit angrily at the elf. I, of course, felt no sympathy whatsoever for the elf.

"Lucius," I said with a nod in his direction. His eyes widened when they came to a rest on my face. I noticed he had been speaking with someone.

"Bellatrix!" I heard a shout, though it wasn't Lucius this time. I looked over to the dark figure now looming over me.

"My lord." I shook through my curtsy.

"I leave you in Knockturn Alley, and then an hour later you wind up at Malfoy's door." Even now he was drifting closer to me with every step, until I could feel his bitter breath on my face. His lips just inches from mine. His glare took me in, from my damp curls to the tattered hem of my dress. He raised a pale hand up to strike me, but I felt no pain when I expected the impact to occur. I opened my dark eyes. He hesitated, but then decided to drop his hand and walk back.

"Get her washed up and fed," he barked before leaving the room. I quivered as I stared after him. Lucius gave me a questioning look before calling his newly-wedded wife into the room.

"Cissy," I muttered when I saw her. She gave me a dirty look before reluctantly putting an arm around me and leading my up the stairs.

"You're not getting along too well, are you Bella?" she whispered once we were in her room. She threw me a green-black dress and matching corset before taking me into the bathroom. "You are an idiot for agreeing to the whole death eater thing."

"What do you know? You are a mere nineteen year-old girl who got lucky enough to get landed with a decent husband. Well, maybe if circumstances where different you'd understand." She shook her head at me.

"You're still batty."

"Well, Cissy, you are an arse!" I spat back at her. She didn't continue to argue, but I could sense her fury as she carelessly jerked at the strings of my corset. I calmed down before speaking again. "Cissy, you have no say in what I do. You are four years younger than me, and if I can't make the right decisions, you surely can't."

"Bella, just bathe and get out of here," she told me before slamming the door shut, leaving me undressed, a pile of black wrinkled clothing in one pile and a neat pile of dark green clothing in the other. I noticed the bath was already drawn and steaming. I lowered myself into the soothing waters, letting my hair down into the clear water. I draped the curtain around the tub to give me an extra feeling of privacy that I hadn't had for six years, ever since I left Hogwarts and married that wart-of-a-husband. I relaxed in the wonderful hot water, submersing every part of myself.

I then heard the door open. My head shot up from out of the water, but cautiously, making sure I didn't make noise. I thought it might be Cissy, so I listened for her soft voice. The person didn't say anything. I gained up the courage and slowly pulled the curtain open a tiny bit so I could look out. A dark figure stood with his body facing toward the bath. His eyes lit up when he saw my face poking out. I tensed up, recognizing him immediately.

I pushed myself to the other side of the tub so he couldn't see me undressed, but it was too late. He realized who I was. And I promptly felt a rush of cold air when the curtain was pulled open.

I was too scared to speak. But my hand flew for the towel that sat on the ground. His white hand grabbed my wrist. I felt his piercing eyes all over my body, the places only Rodolphus had ever seen.

"Bella?" I heard Cissy from outside the door. She came in. My head jerked to her who was looking at me, a concerned expression on her face. I looked back to the location where the figure was, but he was gone. I thought I really was insane. Had I really seen him? Or was I hallucinating his presence there, next to my bare body?

"Just checking on you," she said calmly, noticing my surprise. I picked up the towel I had been reaching for and stood, wrapping myself in it. I dried my hair and body and then began to get the dress on. Cissy helped and tied the corset so it was tight on my waist. She sensed my uneasiness and wrapped her arm around my shoulder as she guided me down the stairs. Narcissa left me at the landing and headed back up the stairs without another glance in my direction. After I heard a door slam that she must have entered, I felt his presence again behind me.

"Bella," his usually hard voice cooed. I spun around. The Dark Lord stood there, approaching me. I couldn't do anything but back up as he stepped nearer. His stride was longer, though, and caught me before I could get away. "My loyal servant." I felt two cold arms hold me strongly at my waist. Then one hand flew to my face, holding it at my jaw. The other lingered to my lower back, forcefully pushing me closer to him.

"My Bella," he moaned again in my ear. His body was pressed hard on mine. His thin lips began to tenderly kiss my neck. This all caught me off guard. "I look forward to getting you alone with me again." And with that, he was gone.

As much as it startled me, I longed to feel him against me again. Part of me wished he had stayed so I could get the chance to kiss him back, to go farther than that and have him on top of me, his hands all over my body again.

Death eater meetings would never be the same.
