Chapter 2 – The boy
I was now going towards the magnificent school that was laid before me eyes. It was so big and beautiful. I could have said that is was one of those castles that still exist from the medieval times. It had brown and reddish bricks with windows that were out of the ordinary. They were big and in a half oval size.
When I finally got inside, I simply followed the crowd. We were headed to this type of main room. Once I was inside that room, I kept on looking at the ceiling that was so amazing. There were floating candles, a night sky and stars, Amethyst looked at me like if I were and idiot.
“Wait… you’ve never seen this type of environment. Meaning you never went to a “magic” school?”, she asked in an astonished voice.
“Nope, never, first time. It’s like so cool! Have you?”
“Duh!”
“Right, ummm… do you have any magical powers?”
“Yup, I have water, fire, air, earth and I can leave my body: spirit. Do ya have any?”
“Well, I guess but I do not know them…”
Then, the whole room went still. I heard a pin drop on the other side of the room. Everybody was looking at me bizarrely. Then, I started to hear murmurs. I looked around confused and found the person that started them. I was so concentrated that at one point, there were more.
“She’s new.”
“I know and look at the she looks at everything. A new born”
“Pffffff, ya.”
“Look dude, I think she has a crush on you!!!”
I turned my head towards the “dude” that said that last thing. I glared at him and walked towards him. All of a sudden, his hair started to float up in the air. Then his whole body was above the ground. Amethyst, next to me, started to crack up. I, on the other hand, was amazed by the fact that I found one of my powers that just popped out of nowhere. All the people that commented on the “new-be” took back what they said. When Amy was walking towards a table, I spat out at the dude:
What do you have against brunettes?
Nothing, not anymore, something… NEVERMIND JUST BRING ME DOWN!!!!! I WANT MY MOMMY!!!
I guess I am satisfied now!
Now it was me laughing. I went to sit down with Amy. All of her friends looked so pretty. I looked like the bum that just came off of the street: messy hair, no shower (not that I stank), etc. They all seemed very nice. One of them, blond curly hair, ocean clear blue eyes, said hello in a very velvety voice. I looked around and there was one boy whom looked quite strange. His eyes were a soft jade green, like one of those jade stones in those Japanese gardens. He looked like an angel. A pixie type of girl came up to him and started to annoy him. He turned around, looked at me and I looked away embarrassed.

Later on that day, I went to the main desk to get my room number. Once I got up all of those stairs, my room was on the right completely at the back of the corridor. As I opened the door, I could tell you that she was already there. I kicked the door for it to open and all I saw were clothes all over place as if a burglar came and rummaged through the room. My room mate was on the computer checking something I guessed. Some how, she looked so familiar. Then she looked up and scream of joy (I figured). It was Amethyst. I looked around to notice only two beds.
“Ummm… isn’t there supposed to have four people in a room? I asked.”
“Professor McGonagall said that I couldn’t be any messier than it is, you don’t think?”
“I guess not.”
“You hesitate a lot, don’t you?”
“Ummm… ya I gu-ess, why do you ask?”
“Oh, for no reason, it’s just cute. So what were you going to say, when we were on the plane? she asked curiously.”
I looked at her amazed; she still remembered that subject. Wow! For some weird reason, it seemed as though I’ve known her forever, and not just that, she looked a lot like me.
“Right. Ummm… okay, well how to put this I a-a-am an-n albino.”
She looked at me and started to blow up of laughter. I did the exact same face that she did on the plane, when that lady gave her her candy.
“How can you be and albino, if your skin is so dark, and your eyes not even red?”
“I’m a special albino!?”
“Sure… okay then, what color are originally your eyes?”
“Goldish… why do you ask?”
“No way!!!!!!!... you have gold eyes!?”
“Okay… can we please change subject?”
I was so frustrated that she was making a big deal out of it. My eyes were gold… oooooooo… so what. That is so annoying when people would always want to know everything about you. Do you know how it feels? I certainly do. Ever since I was born it was like that.
All of a sudden, the bell rang. First class: Potions. Our teacher was new. I think his name was Snate… no wait… oh ya, Professor Snape. There was a rumor going around saying that he liked a student! YUCK! I hope it is not me. I took all of my things, but I was missing one book.
“Are you coming? Amethyst asked”
“Ya, but go without me!”
“Okay… suit yourself… I will save you a spot.”
I looked at my watch and it was 8:57. Class started at 9:00. I‘ll never make it one time! I finally found my book, it was right under my nose. Ugh! I hate that when it happens. 8:59. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I ran out of my room and all of a sudden, right when I was in front of my class, I bumped into something or someone. I looked up and:
“Are you okay? a velvety voice asked me.”
“Ummmm”
“I’ll take that as a “yes”! Here are your books.”
It was that boy, the boy from the hall, the bit who stared at me. The boy. AHHH!!!!
“Hi, my name is Jacob Denison, you are…?”
