Give Into Love:
Elizabeth walked around the Captain's Cabin, a small smile on her face as a song ran through her head repeatedly. With a soft giggle, she lay down on the bed. Jack had gone to be at the helm, muttering something about not having been able to do his captainy duties for a while because of how irresistible she happened to be, and that if he didn't get out and do something the crew would probably plot mutiny against him for being locked away with her so much. She had blushed, laughed, then slapped his arm and pushed him out the door. Even though he knew he had to, he shot her a pleading look, only to have his bottom playfully smacked my his rather amused lover as he passed her.
After a while of looking up at the ceiling, she got up and headed over to a chest in the corner, kneeling down to open it. She looked through the dresses that were in there, her fingertips trailing across the soft fabric. Grabbing one of her gowns, a light cotton dress that had been dyed green, she held it up to herself and looked down before going over to the mirror. She swayed and turned her body a little, watching the fabric ripple and flutter. How long had it been since she last wore a dress? Jack didn't much like her to wear them, even though he always teased her about it being 'a dress or nothing'. He liked her boyish clothes better, and for more obvious reasons, one of them being she could much easily defend herself in one.
Her dresses were actually only for special occasions, like her first anniversary of being married to the most amazing, brilliant, and rather stubborn husband she could ever have. Jack...well, there were really no words she could use to describe him, and her love for him.
"When I look at you, I see the souls of our unborn children.
If I reach for you, will you take my hand, are you willin'?
You turn more than the music on,
But will you be there at my side at the dawn?"
She nodded to herself after a moment, having made up her mind. Turning, she went over to the bed and lay the dress down, then sat and tugged off her boots. Setting them at the foot of the bed she pulled off her hat and let down her hair, then tugged her vest off before she tossed it into the corner, her breeches, belt, shirt following soon after. Once she was fully undressed she reached for the gown and then pulled it over her head, the soft whisper of fabric against skin meeting her ears as it fell to rest just above her knees. Straightening the hem out, she glanced in the mirror then smiled before twirling around with her arms open wide, a gleeful laugh escaping her.
"And I say 'Alright. I give in. I will dance with you, just this one time.'
And all night, we will turn and spin, then stand by to eye at the sunrise.
And you offer love, and it all begins when I say 'Alright. I give in.'"
She turned and stepped forward into the middle of the room, her bare feet padding against the floorboards as she pretended to dance. Holding her hands up in midair, she spun around quickly, squeaking in surprise when two hands met hers and pulled her close. She looked up, eyes locking on to the warm brown ones of her husband, and then blushed before giving a shy smile. He grinned, eyes dancing mirthfully, then wrapped one arm around her waist, the other holding her hand. She moved to wrap her arm around his neck before they began to turn and sway, moving around the room in a slow dance.
"Sing for me?" Jack asked in a whisper, and Elizabeth blinked before she frowned a little.
"How long were you watching me?" she wondered with a grimace, and the corner of his mouth twitched in amusement.
"Long enough." he replied, and she narrowed her eyes at the infuriating smug grin he gave her.
"Jack Sparrow! You tell me-" she began, but found herself cut off by his lips decending on hers. With a soft moan she rose up on her toes to kiss him back, swept away by the passion he created and promptly forgetting what she had been going to say in the first place. Placing her hand on the back of his neck, she pushed his head closer to hers, feeling how his dreadlocks scratched pleasantly against her palm. With a shudder she broke the kiss, breathing wildly against his mouth but not pulling away.
"Lizzie?" She looked up from his lips to see him staring at her, the rings of chocolate brown darker than before. A sigh left her lips, and she shook her head before complying to his request, whispering the words against his skin as she ghosted her mouth across his cheek.
"If I sing for you, will be the sweetest sound you've ever heard?
If I pray for you, will you know that I believe in every word?
You build me a house on stone, will you promise me I'm never going to be alone?"
Jack smiled slightly as he continued to rock them from side to side, entranced by her bewitching voice. Eyes sliding shut, he breathed in deeply before releasing the breath, loosing himself in her piece by piece. When she quieted he opened his eyes a crack, only a sliver of brown showing now. Her mouth moved back to his and she brushed her lips against his, then gasped when he slanted his mouth across hers without a single word. Immediately she kissed him back, shifting her body so that she could wrap both arms around his neck and hold him tightly to her. His hands fell to her waist and he gripped her hips tightly, catching her lips between his before slipping his tongue into her mouth. Groaning softly, he felt her battle with him, and then she deepened the kiss, pushing past his lips to explore him. Another noise left him and she smirked, pushing her body against his before she pulled away. Her lips were swollen now, and she was out of breath, but he persisted, crushing his mouth back against hers in another brusing kiss. Whimpering, she went weak in the knees, leaning heavily against him.
Finally, he pulled back to smile at her. She shivered. "You're... God, Jack, you're too good at that." she whispered, then shivered again at his husky chuckle.
"M' good at many other things too, love." he stated cheekily, bending his head to place soft kisses along her neck and throat. She swayed dizzily against him, in rather great danger of crumpling to the ground. However, she fought hard to stay upright, and his grip on her waist helped too.
"Mmm." she hummed softly, then nodded. "I know. You've proved that to me many a time before." She felt his lips curve into a smirk against her skin, and then he sucked gently on her pulse and elicited a cry from her before pulling back. Looking to her, he propped her chin with his hand. She gazed into his eyes, and then hers seemed to glaze over slightly.
"Ye're beautiful, Lizzie." he whispered to her, and she pretty much melted against him, burying her head into the crook of his neck before sighing softly.
"I love you, Jack." she whispered back, knowing that saying she was beautiful, with that vulnerable look on his face, was the closest he'd ever gotten, and probably would ever get to telling her that he loved her in return. She didn't need him to tell her, though; she could tell by the looks he gave her, the way he treated her, how tender and sweet he acted sometimes...and that very sweet sense of security she felt when she nestled herself comfortably into his arms.
It was perfect.
"And I say 'Alright. I give in. I will dance with you, just this one time.'
And all night, we will turn and spin, then stand by to eye at the sunrise.
And you offer love, and it all begins when I say 'Alright. I give in.'"
Jack smiled, then bent his head to kiss her hair, hearing her soft muffled voice as it reached his ears. Her voice sounded beautiful, and yet he had never heard it before. He briefly wondered why, then shook his head and lifted her up into his arms. It didn't matter, she was singing now, and he would make sure she'd do so more often.
"Ye'll have t' be singing for me more often, Lizzie." he murmured. "I think I am addicted." She gave him a gentle smile, then nodded her head.
"More addicted to it than rum?" she teased, and his nose twitched in amusement slight amusement as he frowned.
"Maybe. We'll have t' see, won't we." She giggled, then yawned, and he pouted at her.
"You're going t' fall asleep on me?" he asked, and she nodded after a moment of thinking.
"Your not really going to complain, are you? You, Jack, have already had your wicked ways with me twice this morning." He sighed and grumbled under his breath. "Fall asleep by me?"she asked softly as he placed her carefully on the bed. He looked at her for a long moment, then nodded his head in agreement.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt." he whispered, then tugged off his boots one at a time before laying down next to her. She turned over and placed her hands on his chest, able to feel his heart beating under the fingertips of her right hand. They faced each other and she stared at him, then presented him with a beautiful, glittering smile.
"Oh Jack. I'm so glad we met." she whispered sweetly under her breath, and then fell asleep as he stroked her hair with a small smile. He studied her in silence before shutting his eyes, quickly following her to the path of sweet slumber and very content to be near the one person that meant the most to him in the world.
