Sometimes things happen in this world that you have no control over. Kyo knew this. He knew it very well. He used to think that the world was out to get him and that his place in it meant nothing..well, until she came into his life for good.

Kyo looked over at the sleeping girl next to him, her breathing even. A smile on her face, she's always smiling..

That day he broke through the roof of Shigure's house, Kyo had no idea she would be there..he remembered Kyoko Honda, Tohru's mom, showing him that picture so long ago, "her treasure". And then that awful day that it happened. Kyo thought he'd never be able to forgive himself for not doing more to save her. He also thought he could pin all his troubles on Yuki.

Somehow Tohru saved him. She showed him what it meant to be loved, to be accepted..to be forgiven.

"Maybe Kyoko was right, as long as their is one person who needs me, that is all that matters." Kyo thought. "This world will keep on going without us, but it's ok. I've found my reason to live in Tohru. and i'm never going to give that up."
