Rin could absolutely not stand Ritsu. He got on her every last nerve. She despised everything about him: his frantic apologies, his feminine attire, and his lack of a backbone. Rin was sure that he was the most pathetic person she had ever known.

He apologized for everything. He apologized for things that weren't his fault at all. Hell, he even apologized to Rin for "making" her glare at him.

Rin did take to glaring at him quite often, too. As soon as she would see his face, she'd get a dark, fierce look in here eyes.

And now here she was, stuck with the spaz. Rin was not looking forward to spending her time with him.

"I'm so sorry, Isuzu!" he said, as expected.

Here we go again, thought Rin as she rolled her eyes.

"I'm sorry that I'm such a bad person that I disrupt your happiness! I'm sorry that you have to look at me like that! I'm sorry that I'm so unlikable!"

Rin would usually just glower at Ritsu when he was going on like this, but she was really not in the mood this time. Her nerves were on end.

"Shut up, Ritsu!" Rin yelled.

Ritsu cowered. It worked. He stopped talking. Well, at least for a few seconds.

"I'm sorry, Rin!" he exclaimed, "I'm sorry that you have to yell at me!"

"Why do you even care?" Rin asked coldly.

"Huh?"

"Why do you even care what I think? Why do bother me more than anyone else in the zodiac?"

Ritsu's eyes grew big, and he blushed. He averted his eyes away from Rin's merciless stare.

"Answer me!"

Sheepishly, Ritsu said, "I…I really like you, Rin. I never want to make you angry. I want you to like me, too."

Rin was not prepared for him to say anything like that. It threw her off guard. She could only stammer, "R-Ritsu."

Damn, the prideful mare cursed herself, He surprised me.

"I'm sorry, Rin," said Ritsu, once again, "Do you forgive me?"

Rin breathed out a heavy sigh, "There's nothing for you to feel sorry for, Ritsu. I am the one that needs to apologize. I've been a bitch to you... I'm sorry."

Now there was a faint blush on Rin's cheeks. She never apologized, not to anyone. Until now.

Ritsu smiled, and Rin felt her heart melt. At that moment, she saw him in a whole new light. Instead of seeing him as an unimportant annoyance, she saw him as a man that had the potential to move her in a way that no one else could.

After all, Rin never apologized to just anyone.
