Jude yawned, skating his way to the food court. It came into sight, and Jude saw that Caitlin was already there. He skated up to the table and sat down at it. “Morning bra.” he greeted her.

“Hi Jude.” she greeted him. Today she was wearing the “Somebody Loves Me” sweater that Jude had gotten her for Christmas.

“So, I see ya like the new sweater.” he pointed out.

“Yep. I love it. It’s so nice. You don’t really expect guys to be kind like that.”

“I’m just a kind person.”

“Yes you are. So have you seen the others?”

“No, I don’t. They might have called in sick.”

“Bummer huh?”

“Yeah…”

Jude’s watch started beeping.

“It’s time for you to go to work already?”

“No, I got fired. I accidently pushed over every video shelf in the store.”

“Ouch, bad luck.”

“I know bra. It sucks. Now I need a job.”

“You could always work here with me at the lemon.”

“Really? That’s so cool Caitlin.”

“It’s no problem, really.”

“That’s cool.”

“Hey guys.” Nikki greeted as she arrived. She sat down in her usual seat.

“Hey Nikki.” Jude and Caitlin greeted.

“So Jude, find a job yet?” Nikki asked.

“Yeah, I’m working at the Lemon.”

“The Lemon?”

“Yeah, why?”

“Nothing, it’s just… Kinda weird. I’m more used to seeing only Caitlin behind the Lemon Counter.”

“Believe me, it’s no biggie.” Caitlin explained. “He needed a job and I feel I owe him a favor for my sweater.”

“Okay, whatever.” Nikki said, drinking her coffee.

Jude and Caitlin exchanged a glance.

Jude was skating right at the escalator. He jumped and skated down the railing. He jumped off and skated towards the Food Court. He stopped at the Lemon.

“Oh hey Jude. Ready to start your first day of work?”

“No problem dudette.”

“Cool.”

He hopped over the counter. Some customers came up.

“A lemon shake and a warm lemonade for my friend.” the first one said.

“Okay Jude, to make a warm lemonade just take a regular lemonade and put it under the lamp over there.” Caitlin explained.

“No problem bra.”

Jude took a lemonade and kept it under the lamp until it started to bubble.

Caitlin had already prepared the shake. She handed them both to the customers. They paid and left.

“Good job Jude.”

“This is the easiest job I’ve ever had.”

There was a bubbling from the lamp. They looked over and gasped. There was a lemonade on it. It exploded, sending lemonade everywhere.

“AH!! Jude, are you okay?”

“Yeah I think so.” he laughed a bit.

“What?”

“Open your eyes.”

She did, and instantly blushed.

She had fallen on Jude.

Jonsey and Nikki were walking towards the food court when they stopped.

“Whoa!! Caitlin!!”

They ran to the lemon.

“Caitlin, Jude?”

“Yeah dude, we’re cool.”

Nikki and Jonsey looked behind them.

“Guys, what happened?”

“Jude exploded a lemonade.” Caitlin said.

“And the whole place exploded bra. It was soooooooooo awesome!!”

“JUDE!!” Nikki said. “You just made Caitlin lose her only job.”

“It’s all right. I don’t care really.” Caitlin explained.

“Caitlin, you need a job.”

“It’s fine.”

“You sure?”

“Yes.”

“Okay… Well we gotta go. See ya guys.”

Nikki and Jonsey left.

“Oh man Caitlin, I’m sooo sorry!! I didn’t mean—“

“Jude, it’s okay. Relax.”

“But Caitlin I totally wrecked the Lemon and—“

“Jude, it’s fine. I can find another job. This is a huge mall.”

“Yeah, but I still feel kinda bad about it.”

“It’s okay.”

“Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?”

“Well… there might be one thing.”

“What is it?”

“I’ve been trying to get a new boyfriend for a week, but no one seems interested.”

“So… You want me to be your boyfriend?”

“Yeah, that’s kinda it…”

She hugged him.
