this is a gift fic that i wrote for shadowsvixen at livejournal. it was supposed to be just a drabble, but Kyo and Tohru are my two favorite people, so it went way overboard. :3 i am planning a sequel!

Tohru bounced around her room, smile on her face, singing a song. She was so happy that school was over for the summer and was looking forward to spending vacation time with Kyo-kun and Yuki-kun, especially Kyo-kun. She laughed thinking of all the fun that they would have.

"Now to get out of this uniform!" she said to herself as she pulled her shirt over her head.

Meanwhile, Kyo had just gotten home from Shishou's and was wondering where Tohru was. Since she wasn't downstairs he went to check her room. The door was mostly open, so he figured he didn't need to knock.

"Yo, Tohru, I'm-"

Kyo was in shock. Their stood Tohru, completely naked, well except for her underwear-which Kyo thought were very cute...dammit, he needed to quit thinking like that! Maybe he should have knocked.

Tohru just stood there, shocked as well that someone had caught her. Why hadn't she shut the door? Kyo would have knocked if she had shut the door. As embarrassed as she was, she was actually kind of glad it was Kyo and not anyone else. She loved him, even though she still hadn't told him yet, it was still true.

"Tohru, I'm s-sorry." Kyo managed to spit out. "I'll leave now."

He went to close the door but Tohru stopped him-

"Wait, Kyo-kun. It's ok. Stay."

'STAY?! What the hell was she talking about stay?!' Kyo's mind was racing. 'She wants me to stay? Why on earth would she want me in here with her n-naked like this?!'

Tohru really didn't know what she was thinking. It shot out of her mouth before she realized it. Kyo's head looked like it was about to burst. Maybe he didn't like seeing her naked? Maybe he didn't think of her that way..

Tears slowly started to fall as Tohru thought that maybe Kyo didn't love her the way she loved him. She sniffled and Kyo immediately came as close as he could to her without actually hugging her.

"Tohru, what's wrong? Why are you upset?" Kyo didn't know what was wrong, but he figured it was something that he had done, as usual.

"Kyo-kun doesn't like me that way. I thought maybe he did." tears were falling faster now. She reached up to wipe her eyes, but Kyo beat her to it. He wiped the tears away as he looked her straight in the eyes.

"Why would you think that Tohru?" dammit, he screwed up and made her cry...again. He really did love her. He just hadn't worked up the nerve to tell her that though.

"Kyo-kun's head looked ready to explode when I said to stay. I thought maybe that I was wrong."

"Tohru, you're not wrong. I was just a little shocked to see you naked, that's all. You are so beautiful and I love you so very much."

Tohru thought maybe she heard wrong, but when Kyo leaned over and kissed her, all thoughts flew out the window. His kiss was like fire and she felt it burn all through her.

If Kyo didn't know he loved her before, he knew it now. He loved everything about her, her smile, her laugh, the way she always put others before herself, everything. Kissing her was icing on the cake.

His hands started to wander slowly over her back, down to her hips. He liked the feel of her. Her warm skin, soft and smooth to the touch.

Tohru's hands went up to play with Kyo's hair. She ran her fingers through his orange locks, she loved him. This was her Kyo-kun.

They were so lost in the moment that they didn't hear the front door open and a voice yell "Honda-san, I'm home."

Yuki looked around the kitchen. No Tohru, No Kyo. Where in the world were they? He didn't see them on the roof as he was walking towards the house, so he decided to check upstairs. He slowly made his way up and noticed Tohru's door open. He too figured that since it was open, their was no need to knock.

Yuki stood completely still and took in the scene before him. Their was Tohru, almost completely naked and Kyo kissing..no, they were doing more than kissing. They both looked like they were in another world and he was on the outside looking in.

He cleared his throat, hoping they would hear him. He was planning to just back out of the room, but Shigure was at the very moment coming up the stairs and as much as he hated Kyo, he couldn't let Shigure see this. Poor Kyo would be tormented by pervy Shigure for the rest of his life!

Kyo thought he heard something and glanced over to see Yuki standing there, eyes wide and staring.

"DAMMIT! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!" Kyo screamed.

"I could ask what you the same question." the rat said calmly. "Just what are you doing to Honda-san?"

It was then Tohru remembered that she was almost naked and yelped. She grabbed the comforter and covered up. She was blushing about ten shades darker than Kyo's hair while fumbling with the comforter. Just as she had it wrapped around her, Shigure's head popped in the door.

"Kyo! You sly dog, you!" Shigure said, huge grin on his face. "I had no idea that you had the hots for Tohru!"

"Shigure, if you don't shut up.." Kyo couldn't even finish his sentence, he was so angry. Why did these idiots always have to ruin everything?!

"U-um, please. It was my fault that Kyo is in here." Tohru managed to stammer out. "I asked him to stay."

Kyo turned to Tohru and kissed her again, man he loved this girl!

Shigure went back down the hall singing loudly "Kyo's a pervert, Kyo's a pervert!" and Yuki just backed gracefully out of the door.

'No sense in getting in the way of love.' he thought as he went to find Shigure. He smiled. Seeing Tohru and Kyo together gave him something to hope for. He wanted to find love like that. Maybe someday he would.
