After a small argument Tails and Gem wasn’t aloud to go to the beach with Sonic and friends and got the whole day to themselves and will romance fall upon the two? Please read and Review: NO FLAMES!!!

A summer Date

It was a Sunday morning and at Tails workshop, and the orange two tailed fox was asleep in his bed, until his alarm clock started buzzing, Tails opened his eyes and read the time 6:30am Tails shot up and ran over to his wardrobe and pulled out his orange/white swimming trunks and put them on, he then put on a white top, and he walked out of his room and to the door opposite his room and knocked on the door.

“come in” came a small reply, Tails opened the door and walked in to the room he looked over at the bed and found a sapphire blue raccoon with a blue tail with black strips on it, black marks around the eyes, three bangs on top of her head and curly hair and his age was still asleep, Tails walked over to the side of the bed and little shook the raccoon who woke up slowly and looked at Tails then at her clock “Tails it 6:35 in the morning go back to bed” she said and went back to sleep.

Tails shook her again “I know but don’t forget Gem, Knuckles said get up at 6:30 am and get changed into are swimming gear and wait by the front gate so we can go to the beach early so we don’t have to worry about traffic” Tails said and the raccoon known as Gen sat up with her covers wrapped around her chest.

“Sorry I forgot” Gem said scratching the back of her head.

“Don’t worry now get changed” Tails said leaving Gem’s room and heading down the stairs and into the living room and saw both towels were on the table waiting already for them, Tails headed into the kitchen and made two drinks.

He walked back into the living room a froze where he stood looking at Gem who was wearing a two piece yellow bikini, Gem saw Tails staring at her and went bright red and giggled “Tails your staring again” Gem said and Tails snapped back into reality and went bright red as well.

“Sorry” Tails said and handed her one of the cups, she took it and smiled.

“Thanks” she said as Tails sat next to her and they had their drinks, by 6:45 both Tails and Gem got their stuff and headed over to the gate, Gem was about to go outside when Tails handed her, her sweater “Thank you” she said giving him a small kiss on the cheek, she put her sweater on and it went almost down to her knees but it covered her swimming gear.

They walked out to the gate and Knuckles came to a speeding stop “Come on Tails get in” Knuckles said and Tails opened the door and Gem was about to climb in but Cream stopped her.

“Sorry Gem we’ve only got enough room for one person” Cream said and Gem moved back a bit scared.

“What?? But we agreed that we all get to come” Tails said but they shook their heads.

“Sorry Tails it is ever you come or we leave both of you” Amy said and Tails looked at Gem, Sonic started tapping his foot.

“Come on Tails leave the raccoon and get in the car” Sonic snapped at Tails.

Tails stared at them all angry “I hope you enjoy your day at the beach and I don’t want to see you if you come back early for the rest of the day” Tails said slamming the passenger’s door shut and Knuckles just drove off.

Gem looked at Tails surprised at what he just did “But Tails why didn’t you…” but Tails stopped her and smiled.

“Ever my friend comes or I don’t go, besides they sound like jerks today and I hope they have a horrible day at the beach” Tails said and Gem hugged him.

“So what now?” Gem asked as they walked back into the house, Tails smiled at her.

“Easy, get changed out of are swimwear and go back to bed” Tails said and Gem nodded as they headed up the stairs, once they got to their rooms Gen looked at Tails.

“Oh and Tails you owe me a breakfast in bed for losing that card game yesterday” Gem said walking back into her room and shut the door, and Tails smiled and walked into his room and shut the door.

Meanwhile with Sonic and the others, “I can’t believe Tails would spend the day with that raccoon then with us” Amy said and the others nodded and Knuckles looked at them then back at the rode.

“Don’t worry we are now coming onto the motorway now so…” Knuckles froze in his sentence and everyone looked out the front of the car to see it was all busy cars everywhere all heading to the beach, they all had the same idea as Knuckles and left early “Great” Knuckles said as they now had to wait

An hour later it hit eight o’clock and Gem was sleeping peacefully when their was a knock at her bedroom door she open her eyes and sat up wrapping the covers around her waist “Come in” she said and to her surprise Tails came into the room wearing some blue shorts and a white top and he was holding a breakfast tray with a cooked egg, some pieces of beacon, toast, and a cup of orange juice, Gem looked at him stunned “Tails what are you doing?”

“Well as you said I did owe you breakfast in bed for losing the card game yesterday” Tails said putting the tray in front of her “I hope you enjoy” Tails said and was about to leave.

“Tails” Gem said and Tails looked at her.

“Yes?”

“Do you…um…what to join…me?” Gem asked and Tails smiled.

“Sure I would” Tails said and she smiled “I’ll just go and get my breakfast” Tails said leaving her room and heading down stairs, when he walked back into her room he saw she hasn’t touch her food yet and she had moved over for him.

Tails walked over to the bed and Gem opens the covers for him and Tails slowly climbed into the bed and then pulled the covers over him as he sat up and put his food on his lap and they started to eat it.

“So what do you want to do today?” Gem asked and Tails thought for a second.

“How about a picnic? Since the parks are going to be empty?” Tails asked and Gem smiled.

“That sound like a great idea” she said climbing out of bed forgetting that Tails was there and Tails blushed a little bit.

“Um…Gem why are you still wearing your bikini?” Tails asked and Gem looked at him and went all red.

“I was too tied to get changed back into my normal clothes so I just went back to bed in my swim gear” Gem said and the both laughed, Tails picked up both trays and walked out of the door, once he left Gem shut it and got changed.

--

Back with the others they had finally reached the beach and know was looking for a place to park; they drove around the car park five times until the finally found a place to park and took it fast before someone else did.

“Ok now that’s done lets go and find a place on the beach to sit” Rouge said as Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, Cream, Charmy and Shadow got out of the car and got their stuff and headed over to the beach, now trying to find a place to sit.

Back with Tails and Gem

Tails was sitting on the sofa watching some TV and it showed that the beach was completely packet and the whole city was empty “Why do everyone want to go to the beach for?” Tails asked himself, when it showed on the news that at noon today some good was going to happen and it only happens every 500 years, Tails turned off the TV and sat up “So that’s why everyone went to the beach leaving the city empty” Tails said as Gem walked into the room.

Tails looked at her and smiled, they had been friends now for over three months and Tails had started to grow a little crush on her, but not knowing that she had started to grow a crush on him.

She was wearing her normal clothes which was a green sweater that goes down to between her waist to her knees (So really to people it’s long enough to cover what is needed to be covered on her), and red socks, she never wore short, jeans or skirts, because she told him and the others that Jeans and shorts are to uncomfortable, and skirts are to reviling, that’s when her, Amy and Cream got into a fight saying “So skirts my be reviling but only wearing a sweater that you will soon grow out of is more reviling”, and as for dresses she only like wearing toughs on special occasions like Christmas or Tails birthday.

She walked over to Tails and sat down next to him “So then what do you want to do now?” Gem asked and Tails just looked at her.

“Well we could get the picnic basket ready?” Tails said and Gem nodded standing up and helping Tails up and pulling him over to the kitchen.

With Sonic and crew they were still looking for a place to sit when they finally found a place, they sat down before anyone could take it and they got everything set up.

By 10am Tails and Gem headed out of the house with a picnic basket with them and they headed to the town park and the news was right the city had become a ghost town since everyone went to the beach.

When Tails and Gem arrived at the park no one their completely deserted but very sunny both kids when over to a tree area so the can sit in the shade, Tails lay out a green blanket and they both sat on it and Tails started to lay the food out.

They both enjoyed each others company and they both were talking about funny things, while enjoying the great, mouthwatering food Gem made for them and Tails enjoyed the food but always ended getting it on his face which always made Gen laugh and she would always rip the food off his muzzle.

After they finished their food they both just lay down and enjoyed the sun, but after awhile Tails took his top off and put it under his head seeing it was to hot, Gem looked at him then looked around the park, Tails looked at her confused “Gem what’s wrong?” Tails asked and Gem looked at him.

“It’s just hot with my sweater on” Gem replied then looked around again “Tails I can trust you to tell no one what you see?” Gem asked and Tails nodded.

“You can always trust me” Tails said putting his hand on hers and they both blushed and Gen nodded.

“Ok then” Gen said and Tails looked at her and to his surprise she took off her sweater leaving her only in her blue bra/vest with a red heart on it and her yellow panties with twin tails on them, Gen and Tails looked at each other both bright red in the face and then they smiled “Please don’t tell anyone what you see” Gem said hugging her knees with some tears in her eyes and Tails smiled at her.

“I wouldn’t tell no one anyway” Tails said leaning forward kissing her, she smiled and retuned it, the kiss lasted for two minuets before they stopped and Tails wipe the tears from her eyes and she hugged him “I love you Gem the Raccoon”

She smiled at him “I love you to Miles “Tails” Prower” Gen said holding his hand and they both lay down on the blanket very close to each over.

Back on the beach Sonic and others heated it because they couldn’t do anything for it being to crowded, Cream or Charmy couldn’t get any ice cream since kids were lined out of the door, and kids were kicking sand in their faces, they were all thinking about going.

Back with Tails and Gem

They were lying and the blanket for more then 20 minuets, Tails sat up first and starched his arms into the air, he looked over at Gem how was still lying there in her underwear, Tails just laughed and gave her a little shake, Gem opened her eyes slowly and looked up at Tails and smiled “Something wrong sweetie?” Gem asked sitting up, Tails shook his head.

“No, but I think we should head back now” Tails said and Gem nodded and stood up Tails picked up the blanket and put it in the basket, he pick up Gem’s sweater and saw she was gone “Gem where are you?” Tails said walking into the tree area and he heard giggling, he looked up and saw Gem above him “Ok Gem come down here and put your sweater on” Tails said and Gem jumped down and landed right on Tails pining him to the ground.

“Fine since were in the open” Gem said putting the sweater back on and pulling it down to her knees and got off Tails “Let’s go” Gem said and Tails picked up the basket and the walked back to their home.

Back on the beach it finally turned noon and everyone looked over at the water waiting to see what was going to happen, the water started bubbling everyone watched and a something like a gazer burst out of the water and into the air and it made a heart shape some people took pictures, but after a minuet it stop and went back to normal.

Sonic and friends looked at the water in disbelief that was it, they came all this way, went though hell on this beach just to see the water make a heart shape for only a minuet!!!!!!!

“Were out of here” They all said and packed up their stuff and headed on the beach and over to Knuckles car and packed everything into it got in.

“So what now?” Knuckles asked as they drove off away from the beach.

“How about we go and visit Tails?” Cream asked

“I don’t know here did tell us not to see him for the rest of them day” Amy said and the nodded, and Rouge smiled.

“Yeah he said him, but why do we go and visit Gem who also lives at Tails house” Rouge said and everyone looked at her confused “Tails said not to see him but he didn’t say we couldn’t see Gem” Rouge said and they all smiled as they drove down the motorway.

Tails and Gem had just arrived at their home and walked inside and Tails locked the door behind him, and put the basket on the table and they looked at each other and smiled “So now what?” Gem asked and Tails smiled.

“How about we go swimming in the pool back there” Tails said and Gem smiled.

“Yeah” Gem said and headed for the back door but Tails stopped her.

“Don’t you have to get changed first?” Tails asked but Gem shook her head.

“Come on Tails, swim in your underwear for once and have some fun please” Gem asked looking at Tails.

Tails rolled his eyes and smiled “Fine only this once” he said and they both took their socks off and then walked out back and Gem took off her sweater leaving her in her underwear again, and Tails took of his top and shorts and left him in his green boxers with raccoon tails on it and they both dived into the pool not know that the others were coming up to their house.

Knuckles pulled the car up and everyone got out and walked up to the door of Tails and Gem’s house and knocked on the door but no one answered, when they tried to open the door it was locked, “Hello anyone home?” Amy yelled but no one answered.

“Knuckles if you please” Rouge asked and Knuckles nodded and broke the lock on the door and opened it, everyone walked inside “Where are they?” Rouge asked and everyone shook their heads until Charmy saw something on the floor.

“Hey way is Tails and Gem’s socks on the floor?” Charmy asked and picked them up everyone looked at them and Shadow then saw something.

“Isn’t that Gem’s sweater?” Shadow asked pointing outside; everyone walked over to the window and saw Tails and Gem playing in the pool but…

“Why are they in their underwear?” Cream asked as they walked outside.

Tails and Gem were laughing their heads off from all the fun they were having and Gem swam to the edge of the pool and climbed out “Come and get me Tails” She said laughing as Tails got out of the water and chased her.

Tails court her and wrapped his arms around her waist and spun her around, while she laughed, when Tails came to a stop both were laughing and they looked at each other in the eye, they both leaned for about to kiss when they heard a whole bunch of people laughing, Tails and Gem turned their heads to see the others laughing at them, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE” Gem shouted as Tails passed her a towel and she covered up her underwear and Tails did the same.

“What we just came to say hi” Rouge said and they were about to run into the pool when Tails stopped them.

“I told you I didn’t want to see you for the rest of the day for being jerks” Tails said calmly and they just laughed at him.

“Yeah you said you didn’t want to see us, but you didn’t say we could see Gem” Amy said as they walked pass Tails, Tails saw Gem come out of the house with the phone.

“What’s the phone for Gem” Knuckles asked.

“Easy to call the cops” Gem said and everyone froze in their place.

“Hey, hey you don’t have to be that hasty” Sonic said and Gem dilled a number.

“Hello…yes can you please head to Tails workshop…yes some people broke are door down and just came on in…see you soon” Gem said and ended the call.

“You didn’t call 911, that’s only three numbers, you dilled more then that” Charmy said and Gem whispered something into Tails ear and they both smiled.

“Oh no I didn’t call the cops I called someone else” Gem said giggling, and they looked confused.

Then there was a knock at the door “It must be them” Tails said as him and Gem walked into the kitchen.

“Who do you think is there?” Cream asked scared, but before anyone could answer Tails and Gem came outside with Crystal and Sun (Note: If I pair Tails with someone else that means Crystal will be paired with Sun).

“See you two, they broke are door, and just came right in here and jumped into are pool, and this morning they were jerks to us so we said as clear as clear we didn’t want to see them for the rest of the day” Tails explained and Crystal looked at all of them and smiled.

Everyone in the pool just laughed at them “Oh what is the little wolf and hawk going to do? Throw a crab at us” Knuckles said and they all laughed harder, then they came to a stop when they were lifted in to the air in a water bubble, the saw Crystal was the on doing this with her sapphire gauntlets.

“What should I do with them?” Crystal asked and Tails whispered something into her ear and she nodded, she lifted them over the house and dropped them and to the green grass opposite Tails and Gem’s house, Sonic and the others quickly got into Knuckles car and drove off not wanting Crystal to use more of her powers on them.

Tails, Gem, Crystal and Sun watched them leave and burst out laughing as they walked back into the house and sat around the kitchen table, then they started talking about different stuff until “Um…Why are you two in your underwear?” Crystal said giggling and Tails and Gem went bright red.

“Well we didn’t know that Sonic and the others were going to be back early so we decided just for fun we swim in are underwear, which is fun by the way” Gem said and Crystal and Sun just laughed a little bit as Tails and Gem walked back outside over to the swimming pool and Crystal and Sun followed them.

They saw the two dives back into the pool in only their underwear and waved at them to come in “Come on the waters fine” Tails said and Crystal and Sun looked at each over.

“But we don’t have are swimming gear” Sun said and Tails and Gem laughed.

“Swim in your underwear then” Gem shouted as the two looked at them and smiled.

“Fine were coming in” they both shouted and took off their clothes leaving Sapphire in her Sapphire underwear and Sun in golden boxers and dived into the pool and swam after Tails and Gem, and they enjoyed the whole evening together.
