The giant stage was filled with people, waiting anxiously for the battle about to unfold. Zero Suit Samus and Peach were standing on the steps, waiting for the two warriors to appear. Their eyes widened as the two trophies landed on the stage and were activated.

Meta Knight and Link appeared out of the activated trophies. They looked angrily at each other as they both drew their swords.

“This is the end for you Link. I lose to no one.” Meta Knight growled.

“Sorry Meta Knight, you’re out of luck today.” Link smirked. “I’m going to defeat you and prove I am the better.”

“We’ll see about that!!” Meta Knight yelled as he flew at Link. Link swung his sword, but Meta Knight veered to the right and dodged it. He smashed into Link, knocking the warrior down and to the side. Meta Knight landed and mocked Link.

Link got up, shaking himself to clear his noxious headache. “Beginner’s luck.” he mocked. He jumped at Meta Knight and came down with his sword aimed at Meta Knight. The masked puff slid to the side and dodged.

Link struggled to get his sword out of the ground, but it was too late; Meta Knight took a swing at Link. The green warrior blocked the blow with his shield but lost it. He pulled his sword out and it collided with Meta Knight’s sword. The two clashed their swords many more times until a shadow hovered over the stage.

They both looked up to see the Halberd releasing some small purple sphere that landed on the stage. Some began to bunch together and form a couple of Primids. Meta Knight and Link exchanged a glance then drew their swords.

Zero Suit Samus swooped in with her lazer whip, and Peach floated down with her umbrella. They stood side-by-side with the boys, ready to fight. The Primids charged them, and they began to smash them and destroy them.

Finally all the Primids were gone. But something swooped in, knocking all four of them to the ground. They looked up to see the Ancient Minister flying overhead of them. Two R.O.B Sentries were following him, and they carried a huge, strange metal ball with a huge red X on it. They put their robotic hands into some inserts on both side and pulled the bomb open, revealing a small Subspace ball and a counter clock. The four stared at it in disbelief.

The Ancient Minister shot a cannonball at Link, blasting him off into the sky. Meta Knight watched but turned around when both girls screamed. He turned to see a huge Piranha Plant, holding a cage in each hand, with Zero Suit Samus and Peach in the cages.

It roared and stared down at Meta Knight. The puff pulled out his sword and flew up. The Plant swung Peach’s cage at him. He moved to the left and dodged it. He slashed his sword across the Plant’s face. It screeched and accidently hit Meta Knight with Zero Suit Samus’s cage. It lifted both cages and brought them down to smash Meta Knight. Meta Knight did a sword spin and broke the bottom of Zero Suit Samus’s cage, which threw the Plant off balance. Peach banged against her cage bars with a frying pan. She broke loose as Meta Knight help Zero Suit Samus up off the ground.

But at that time Wario jumped into the stadium with his Trophy Gun and aimed it at Meta Knight and Zero Suit Samus. But he turned his attention behind him, where Peach was just getting out of her cage and off the ground. He aimed the gun and her and shot an arrow at her. She didn’t see it coming and the arrow hit her, turning her into a trophy. Wario picked her up and farted out of the stadium. Meta Knight and Zero Suit Samus began to run but Meta Knight looked over at the Subspace Bomb. It was about to go off.

He began to panic; he could fly out of there but Zero Suit Samus would be toast. He couldn’t carry her. There was a flash in the sky, and a Warp star swooped down and picked them up, flying away from the Stadium as the bomb exploded, consuming it. The Warp Star was being driven by Kirby. Meta Knight and Zero Suit Samus graciously thanked the pink puff as the star sped away from the consumed stadium.
