“Well, well,” Severus drawled. “What have we here?”

Hermione and Lucius parted, lips still swollen from the activity in which they were so busily participating only moments ago. Hermione wouldn’t meet his eyes, clearly mortified by the situation. Lucius, as always, looked smug.

“Severus,” he said grandly, “your timing is impeccable, as always. We were just starting the more…interesting part of the evening, and you know how much I enjoy your company. Won’t you join us?”

Severus narrowed his eyes as he took in his new lover and his old friend. Apparently coming to a decision, he took three long strides forward and pulled Hermione to him, claiming her lips possessively. Reaching out and grabbing a fistful of Lucius’s robes he drew the other man closer, then turned and claimed his mouth no less passionately.

They were all breathless when they pulled apart. Severus was the first to speak.

“Indeed.”
