Last Words

If Saturos and Menardi had been alive a little longer after hitting the bottom of the Venus Lighthouse, what might their last words have been? It's a shame they had to die really. This is just a drabble, a fanfic containing just 100 words, which is why it's so short.

Camelot owns Golden Sun, and are meanies for killing off Saturos and Menardi...

The tiny pinprick of light above was the last thing they would ever see. The man and woman lay within Venus Lighthouse, waiting for the darkness that would soon claim them.

"Saturos," the woman whispered. She was sure he was still clinging to life, just as she was. "There's something I wish I had told you sooner."

The light was growing dark now. They were both weakening and knew that their time was up.

"I... love you..."

It took all the energy Saturos had to speak, but he managed. "I love you too, Menardi."

They slipped away at the same time, together to the afterlife.
