(I've decided to do this Author Fic, as a way to introduce some more allies I thought up.)

You know how there's a saying every city, every world, every planet, and every universe has it's set of heroes. Well The Authors of the Fanfiction Realm are about to meet some fresh new faces who are a new generation of heroes, heroes that make the Power Rangers, and the Justice League look beyond Old School.

It was nighttime at L.A and DarkMagicianmon, TL, Airnaruto, Ross, Loony, Hikari, Nukid, and X, were watching the Channel 10 evening news. Soon a new addition to the evening news came on.

"This is Michael Williams with today's 'Heroes of the Century'." The reporter on TV says.

"I think they added this new short to their time slot just to get better ratings." TL says munching on some popcorn from a bowl.

"That's the media these days, always looking out for number 1." Ross agrees as he turns up the volume.

"I sure hope they talk about us as the opening group." Airnaruto says getting comfy on the sofa.

"Our top heroe's of this century are ones who're fresh out of the academy as one might say." Michael began explaining to the viewers, "That's right I'm talking about New York's shiniest stars this turn of the century, you know them as… The Justice Soldiers!"

Then 8 images of figures appear on the TV screen. The first figure wore black boots, black leather pants, a long overcoat with sharp edges that was black on the outside, but red on the inside, and on the figures face was a dark dragon mask that was completely black with green eye pieces, the mask covered the person's eyes and top part of his face except for his mouth. What was also uncovered was that he had messy coal black hair.

"First hero is Stealthshroud, Defender of Right, and Bringer of Justice. Originally New York's solo hero until for his own reasons formed the team." Michael explains as images of Shroud are displayed. The Authors watch clips of Shroud fighting some crooks outside a jewelry store.

"He fights like Batman." Airnaruto says watching Shroud drop kick one of the crooks. "Only it looks like he's having fun fighting." Loony says as Shroud taunts some of the armed robbers, who attempt to shoot him, but he sinks into the shadows on the streets.

"Ok, how can he do that?" TL asks wondering if he really did see the hero vanish into the ground. "I don't know TL-san." Hikari says amazed on how this hero is doing.

"You know from this point he looks like a teenager." Ross says getting a good view of the hero's height and stature. "You're probably right." Nukid agrees.

Next hero comes into view is another male who wore black slip on shoes, blue pants, a white lab coat, a black scanning visor over his eyes. His stature that they could make out was that he had short brown hair. "Our next hero is the genius of geniuses, the maker of advanced tech, and quite possibly future Bill Gates; Prodigy the teen Genius." Michael explains as some random clips of Prodigy in action started rolling.

The Authors watch clips of Prodigy hovering in mid air firing psychic bolts from his brain zapping some criminals on the run. He then uses his telekinesis to make a bunch of metal poles wrap around the crooks restraining them. "How can he do that?" X wonders. "He must be a psychic, I mean how else could his brain do all that stuff?" Ross asks.

The third hero came into view on the news looking like a giant green humanoid bug with grasshopper legs, the torso of Stingmon, two sets of insect arms, wings of a Dragonfly, the face of a housefly, and two antennae on his head. "Our next hero looks like someone who's crawled out from under a log, but seriously folks give it up for Insectoid the human insect, an unknown species of insect who has power over all creepy crawlies." Michael explains but throws in some humor, "Word of caution if any of you come into contact with this hero, don't try using bug spray on him, it'll only cause irritation to him."

The Authors begins watching Insectoid flying onto action scenes sending forth thousands of roaches to form a protective wall around a group of people to avoid gun shots, followed by a clip of him using bees, hornets, and wasps to drive off some street gangs. "I think Shino, would love to meet a guy like him." Airnaruto says. "I agree Airnaruto-san, the way he uses insects is relative how Shino-san uses his." Hikari agrees.

"Our next hero is someone all reptile lovers will enjoy, let's hear it for Reptilian the human lizard." Michael explains as some video clips show a green humanoid lizard wearing blue cargo shorts, and an orange shirt with Hawaiian flowers decorated on it. "This giant lizard man has the sense, smell, and colossal strength." Michael continues, "He's quick, he's sly, he's cunning." He adds. His words were soon followed up by images of Reptilian doing hand to hand combat moves with a guy big enough to be a sumo wrestler, and Reptilian was winning.

"That's one reptile will good moves." Nukid says. "What if he's not human but an actual lizard mutated to look human?" TL suggests the possibilities. "You mean like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?" D.M asks. "It is possible chief." Airnaruto agrees with TL.

"Here with us now is a local favorite among the female population, a girl with pizzazz, charm, and her own private zoo, that's right folks, I'm talkin' Midnight Rose!" Michael exclaims as images of a female hero start getting broadcasted. Her outfit was exactly like Gwen Tennyson's Lucky Girl outfit only her mask was that of a wolf, and from what else they could see was her eyes that were violet, and she had snow white hair. She also carried a whistle around her neck, and a bracelet on her left hand with 13 charms that were each designed like the Zodiac Animals, with the addition of a cat charm. "This mysterious rogue once operated in Japan was once a thief stealing certain artifacts, but ends up returning them the very next night. When she showed up in New York Shroud must've had a run in with her and changed her for the better. Word is her special powers are the ability to conjure up animals from people's hearts and use them as her private army."

The Authors were watching as the heroine Rose summoned a fox, a Black Bear, and A Polar Bear out of thin air. The Fox unleashes a fire attack on a bunch of rogue androids, while the Two bears unleash a combo of Fire and Ice blasts wiping out a whole army of the robots. Nukid whistles, "That chick's hot." And that got him angry glares from the female Authors.

"She is quite lovely for a woman with her stature." D.M say, "She reminds me a lot like you Hime." He turns to Hikari. "You're sweet Sempai, but you know there's something oddly familiar about that girl." She mentions. "Met her before?" Airnaruto asks. "No but I feel I've seen her powers before." She says.

"Next hero on the agenda is local attitude problem, and dude with rocks in his head literally. Give it up for Metal Stone; Manipulator of Rock and Metal." Michael explains as video clips of a bulky figure almost like a golem whose body was made up of rock, and titanium. Metal Stone slams his fist on the ground of Central Park and conjures up giant arms made from the ground below to restrain some armed robbers. The next clip shown was Metal grabbing hold of a support beam to the Brooklyn Bridge, where the element metal started covering the bridge and repairing the huge broken gap in the middle of it.

"Wow he handles those two elements like a charm." Airnaruto says impressed. "He must be invincible if his body is made up of the two most powerful elements on earth." X adds.

"And our second to last hero on the poll is one of the latest recruits, and all out shock. His name Energybolt!" Michael explains as video clips play showing a tall figure that looked like an Anodite Alien from Ben 10 Alien Force only his body is blue. They watch as he fires blue energy blasts like how Gwen Tennyson uses hers. "Whoa is he an Anodite?" Ross asks. "Not sure, could be, or just a guy who controls power's like one." X suggests.

"And finally the last and latest recruit of the Justice Soldiers, and all around swordsman expert; Zark Raku aka Blade Master!" Michael rants as video clips play. The figure standing was dressed like Dark Mousy, and had the same facial appearance and hair style, only his hair color was silver. In his right hand was a large Buster Sword, while in his left hand was a Kusanagi blade designed like Orochimaru's except the swords hilt was decorated to look like the Yin-Yang symbol. "Is that Phantom Dark?" Hikari gasps. "Can't be, hair colors different, and I don't think he carries weapons like those." Nukid says as he points to the two swords.

Video clips of Blade Master roll displaying him showing off sword skills, leading up to a clip of him crossing his two blades and pulls them apart releasing a cutting shockwave. "Wow and I thought Roxas was skillful when it came to fighting with two keyblades." TL says watching the Swordsman work.

"And there you have it for this week's heroes of this century folks, I'm Michael Williams, and goodnight." Michael signs off. The Authors click the TV off.

"Well that was surprising." D.M says. "Agreed chief, I mean who'd have thought there'd be guys like them out there in the world besides us?" Airnaruto asks while getting off the sofa to stretch. "Well those guys can keep New York safe, while we got L.A, and the Fiction Realm." Nukid said.

"Well Authors, it's getting late so we better hit the sack so we'll be prepared in case Drake, Shade, or any villain strikes tomorrow." D.M says as he heads to his quarters along with everyone else going to there's.

Meanwhile at Omega Mountain, Drake was pacing back and forth about how to acquire Rasets generals. "If I knew where to find those generals and add them to my army, then the crown for King of Darksides will be mine. And will make Shade beg for Mercy!" He says as he steps down from this throne and heads for the castles lab where Anti-Wormtail was experimenting on that Hyuga blood sample Drake acquired from Hanabi.

"Anti-Wormtail, how's that experiment going?" Drake asks the Anti genius, "Still need to do some testing before I can stabilize it." The Anti explains. "Well keep me posted because I'll be heading out now." Drake says going to an exit. "You headed somewhere my Lord?" the Anti asks confused. "Yes I'm going to New York, there's a certain weapon it's museum just acquired that could be very beneficial to our plan." Drake says taking off.

Meanwhile at New York that same night, we find eight shrouded figures standing on top a building waiting for something. Then a crow flies by and perches on a gargoyle statue. "Whatcha got Draven?" the first one says who appears to be the leader. "Big news boss, we got a break in at the Museum again." The crow named Draven caws. "Looks like we got ourselves another one thinking it's cool to break in." the first one looks to the others accompanying him. "So let's bust his ass Shroud." One said who appeared bulky. "My thoughts exactly Metal." The one named Shroud says as he suddenly sprouts feathery wings from his back, but the wings don't appear to be bird like. "Let's go Soldiers." He commands as the eight figures take off for the museum not knowing the kind of terror awaits them.
