I am doing another Megaman Star Force songfic with “After Dark” by Asian Kung-Fu Generation Bleach’s seventh opening that is involve with Tom in this story. I wish they did not remove Pat from the third installation because so many fans love Pat and he has been replaces by Capcom with Solo. They should also make Tom as a main character along with Geo and the others.

I wish they put Pat back in the game, I am still doing other stories like Sprigs’ mansion and I still need more support in these stories as I go to college. I am still going to start doing yaoi for the future stories ok, like Geo/Pat (Subaru/Tsukasa), Aaron/Tom, and other favorites, but not Yuri. I do not own anything from Capcom, so I hope you enjoy it.

Main character: Tom

Minor Characters: Pat, Hope, Geo, Mega, Bob Copper, Aaron Satellite Polices, Gemini, EM Wave Beings, Gemini, and last co-workers

Summary: Tom is going through some changes after the incident a year ago and he start to develop new powers. He tries to hide it from the world until he ends up having a decision to save someone’s life. The song is After Dark by Asian Kung-Fu Generation, its a songfic special.

Après l'obscurité

The alarm went off, as it is 7:15 o’clock, Tom wake up tire coming out of the bed he notice some changes within him as something grow out of his back. He did not notice it until he come into the bathroom, as he remove his pajamas he notice wings growing on his back. He remains in shock and he did not know what is going on at all. The solo of “After Dark” by Asian Kung-Fu Generation starting to play when it reveal a birdcage with Tom Dubious inside of it with wings on his back just standing there.

They're running away.
I skip over the peeling flowers unnoticed as they fall down.

He hide his wings by using bandages after taking a shower as he put on his work clothes. Tom comes out of the house carrying his brief case and closing the door, he did not want no one to notice his wings not even Aaron or Hope. At the workplace, he continue to work on his project that his wing project, he felt it as it try to come out of his shirt and jacket and some people notice it. Tom quickly dash out of the room, he cause some people to worry about him and even Aaron wonder what is going on with him.

(Machikado amai nioi ryuusen tooku mukou kara,

Dokoka de kiita youna nakigoe)

As Tom walk around Edge Ridge, he sees EM Wave beings everywhere along with the EM Road, he notice one EM wave being playing in the middle of the road. He try to help it, but he try to tell the truck driver to stop. The truck driver did not notice the EM Wave Being, but went pass it. Tom remains in shock, but notice it is OK. Some people thinks he is insane, but no one do not see EM wave beings only Tom as he come straight home, he notice Hope carrying a lot of food in the paper bag. So he end up helping her carry the food in the grocery paper bag into her house, she is very please after he helps her. Tom felt a strong aura coming out of his back and he notices his skin getting paler, before Hope thanks him.

(Yokaze ga hakobu awai kibou wo nosete,

Doko made yukeru ka?)

He dash out of the room and all Hope notice is a white feather, she pick it up. She looks up at Tom as he dash out of the room nearly knocking the vase from the living room table when the wings starting to grow bigger than ever.

(Sore WO kobamu you ni sekai WA yurete)

Tom dash out of the house and did not say a word at all to no one not even Geo as come from school. Geo notice Tom’s back, both Hope and Geo worry about Tom even more. That night as he try to get some sleep, he become more paler and his hair starting to change color as his wings starting to grow bigger.

(Subete wo ubai saru)

He did not know what is wrong with him, but it remains unknown and as he wakes, up from a sleep sweating and panting. He looks around seeing EM Wave-like road did not say a word at all to the EM Wave Beings as they try to communicate with him. He went back to sleep and ignore them as he try to get some sleep.

(Yume nara sameta dakedo bokura wa)

Next day during the work hour, Tom trying to avoid his workers as he continue to work outside and most of all hiding his wings from them sitting in the storage room alone continuing to do his project. He did not say a word at all after staring at his project, but end up throwing it in the garbage. Later during the day, he notices children from preschool and elementary playing at the playground.

He notices the EM-Wave beings right beside them playing with them, some helps them with problems like homework and some encourage them to conquer their fears. Tom turns away and walks back to his work place, one child who is a female who is 5-year-old with blue eyes and bald try to get Tom attention after noticing his wing. He notices the child as the child handing him a letter and he then heard the child thought, “Please sent it to my mommy who is in heaven…”

(Umare ochita kumo made miorosu you ni tobou)

He smiles at the child and put the letter into his pocket, he pet the child before he walk away. The child remain standing in the middle of the playground waving at Tom as he left the playground, he walk through Edge Ridge and witness so many people at the time. Tom said in his mind, “What makes me different from the others?”

He continues to walk until he stops to see a boy with green hair and brown eyes, he is wearing a hospital gown and he is standing barefooted on the edge. Doctors try to stop him, but cannot due to the fact he carrying a knife. He has eye shadow under his eyes, a crowd gather witnessing what happen. Tom sees a dark aura behind him and a FM-ian Gemini taunting him. Geo yell out of the crowd, “Pat get down from there.”

(Dorodoro nagareru fukaku akai
Tsuki ga arawarete furarerusai)

Pat did not say a word to him and he continues to stand there, Tom did not say a word and did not hesitate while he is in the crowd. Pat said with tears coming down his eyes, “it’s the only way to get rid of my demon…” Mega said to Geo, “Do something Geo, you’re his friend.” “I can’t pulse in because the crowd surrounds and all cameras are everywhere!” explain Geo to him, “Most of all I do not want to pulse in right in front of Bob Copper.” “WHAT meaning WE ARE SITTING DUCKS!” yelled Mega in shock, Geo answers, “yes, we are.”

Tom turns seeing the Satellite Police next to them and most of all cameras are everywhere, he tries to hesitates, and he did not what to do.

Meantime the birdcage with Tom inside of it starts to shatter as the darkness turn into light. After everyone gasp when Pat take one step, he begin to fall, he hesitate as he run out of the crowd as his wings starts to grow on his back when he begin to fly.

Sore wo kobamu you ni sekai wa yurete
Subete wo ubai saru

He catches him before Pat hit the ground and everyone starting to cheer after Tom save Pat’s life. As he hands Pat to the paramedics before the Satellite Polices try to talk to him, but he left the scene. Tom take out the letter that the child gives him and he looks up at the sky in his mind, “There is one mission, I have to do for now…”

(Yume nara sameta dakedo bokura wa
Mada nanimo shite inai susumu)

He starts to fly into the sky delivering the letter to the child’s letter to her mother who is in heaven. The last screen at the end of the story is a shatter birdcage in the light and all you see is a feather on the birdcage’s floor as Tom flew away.

The End…

Well, I am glad that I am doing one with Tom Dubious for once, but so far, I wish Capcom do a little change for once. Please leave a comment or suggestion ok. Silver Horror logging out.
