Peace…

When I think of peace I want to think of normal

but then I look into my peers eyes and think,

my god peace is never normal

When a child goes to school with the work not done because he couldn’t find time between the kicks and screams

When the ice caps are melting and animals are dieing

When a girl is sent away, because her boyfriend used her to get his way

When the world is in poverty and the rich just keep getting richer

When the teachers don’t see and the government doesn’t care

Who’s to say what is normal

One thing is for sure I know it isn’t peace…
