Author Note: This is the almighty chibi-chan with my first fanfic! (Hestic interruption: Go Chibi, Go!) Well, here I go!

Chapter One: Net Savior Vacation

All was quiet at Sci-Labs, much too quiet for the two certain Net Saviors, Enzan and Laika. Usually their female best friend would be running up to them and glomping them the moment that they walked through the doors of her father’s employment. She had changed from the immature fifth grader that they had met almost four years ago, but some aspects stayed the same. For example: her choice in clothing coloration, her style in net battling and the love she held for her job.

The two boys had changed slightly over the years too. Laika still wore his uniform with pride, but with addition of some medals for helping save the world with his friends, which he displayed proudly. He had gotten his haircut, much to the insistence of his girlfriend Pride, and now sported a military style cut. Enzan still wore his red vest and camouflage pants, but opted for a short sleeved black shirt with a yellow collar and stripes going down the sleeves. He let his hair grow out so that now the black half was in a ponytail that went halfway down his back. The two were broken from their musings by a familiar voice.

"Ano, Minna!" Began a tall brunette man. The two boys turned to see who it was, even though they already recognized the voice. It was Doctor Hikari Yuuichirou, the father of their brunette little ball of sunshine. They paused where they were and waited for him to reach their spots in the hallway. Once he arrived, Laika spoke up.

"Hikari-hakase, is something wrong? We didn't see your daughter this morning...did she get in trouble again?" he joked at the end.

Yuuichirou sighed and rubbed his forehead, "I wish, but no she didn't yet. There is something wrong though..."

"What do you mean? Is she sick?" Enzan asked a little too quickly, causing the elder two to blink.

"No, it's just that she hasn't been acting herself lately. She barely eats anything anymore, including curry. She barely talk to anyone except Rockman and Trill and on top of that she has been sneaking out late at night and keeps snapping at people due to lack of sleep."

"I know what it is." came another familiar voice.

"Meijin." The man nodded in acknowledgement to his friend.

"After the cache incident a couple of years ago she has had a lot more responsibility; taking care of Trill and chibified versions of the cyber beasts, school and relationships, her job, running away from a never ending fan club that doubles in size each time she saves the planet, not to mention that high school entrance exams are this year. Face it, she's stressed out of her mind. Why don't you send her on a vacation?" Hikari-hakase was about to interrupt when Meijin held up his hand," Rockman probably sense it too. Who knows, maybe she'll return to normal."

Yuuichirou mulled over the idea for a while before agreeing with an idea, "I got it! I'll send her to stay with her grandmother for a while. Meijin, send an e-mail to Net Savior HQ saying that Netto, Enzan, and Laika will be out of commission for a while."

"N-NANI?" came the shocked voices of the two teenagers.

"Do you really think I would leave my daughter alone with her fifteen male cousins? That would be insane! Just think of this as a boning experience for the three of you!"

Enzan groaned and pulled out his PET. "Blues."

"Hai?"

"Please e-mail my father about the situation."

"Right away Enzan-sama."

"Oh and Blues."

"Hai?"

"...What do you think Netto's reaction will be when she finds out?" Enzan smirked.

"I don't know sir, but I'm sure that it will be amusing." Blues replied, also smirking.

Boy would those two white haired idiots be wrong about their friends reaction.

Netto received the e-mail a few minutes later. After arguing with her father for a good amount of time and having a compromise reached, she started to reluctantly pack her bags. Rockman looked over the little girl, no, teenager that was his Operator and, at one time, baby sister.

She too had changed, as many do. She now wore a hooded orange jacket with red cherry blossoms on the shoulders, a white shirt that was ripped a bit at the collar and above her stomach, exposing her midriff completely and a black mini skirt. She had a variety of belts on her waist: a blues on that held her PET, a yellow one that held her battle chips, and a silvery chain that held a short bronze rod in a leather case. She still wore her head band around her forehead and her hair which was worn in a low ponytail was now to the point of reaching the back of her knees. On her feet were a pair of black knee high boots with blue cherry blossoms outlined in silver.

"Netto-kun." Rockman inquired softly, as a means to comfort her.

"What?" she snapped at the blue bomber, causing him to flinch. She sighed and scratched the back of her head ."Sorry about that, Rock-ni."

"Just where are we going? You seem upset. Please...tell me." Netto continued to pack her bags, her shoulders shaking as if she were going to cry.

"We're going to visit Oba-sama at her house, with the rest of the family." Rockmans eyes widened as some memories from his life as Saito clicked in his head. Their grandmother had tried to have Netto become a true lady and leave behind such boyish things like netbattling and take up more feminine aspects like cooking sewing or to become a voucountess so she could be married off to someone else in the family to keep the clan alive, though she had the boys to do it for her and always targeted her only granddaughter for some unknown reason. Even their mother, their grandmothers sixth child and third girl, didn't know the reason. Trill sensed the tension in the room and spoke up.

"Net-chan, will you be alright?"

Netto fingered the half-heart pendant around her neck." No, I won't be okay Trill-chan. The only good thing is that Enzan and Laika will be coming with us. I just hope that they can protect me."

With that being said, Hikari Netto broke down and cried. Rockman froze, this wasn't a good sign at all. He clenched his fist and punched it into his free hand. If any of those idiots do something to her, their NetNavi's would pay the price.

Laika twitched Searchman twitched. Enzan and Blues twitched. Their traveling were just staring at them silently. Why? Maybe because Netto had gotten her belly button and was showing it off to everyone.

"Netto..." Laika started.

"Yeah?"

"..THAT?"

"I thought that it looked cool. Do you like it?"she asked.

Enzan nodded slightly with a light blush on his face. The Sharro soldier rubbed his temples, this was going to be a long train ride to where ever they were going.

/Saito-nii?/

/Hai? Netto, are you going to be.../

/I don't think so. I feel like throwing up./

/If anything happens, imouto, I'll be there for you. Along with

Enzan,Blues,Laika,Searchman,Trill,Greiga,Falzer and Forte./

Netto sighed. Forte had almost been deleted when she found him, and she put him back together by a complete accident. During his time of recovery, she had convinced him to fight along side her. It was a long and tedious process, but they eventually saw eye to eye. Netto was brought out of her thoughts by a hand on her shoulder. It was Laika,he was concerned when she spaced out.

"Are you okay?" he asked quietly.

"Yeah,"she croaked."I think I'll be."

"You're not okay Netto."seethed Enzan."You haven't been acting like your normal self lately. Normally you would be jumping off the walls at the idea of a vacation, but here you are quiet as a mouse! What is wrong? We care a lot about you and want to know! I..." he trailed off at the end. Netto blinked a couple of times before glomping the boy in front of her(Laika is sitting on one side next to Enzan, who is across from Netto, who is next to an empty seat).

Enzan froze for a second before wrapping his arms around her. She was crying and she didn't know what to do. All he could do was hold her. After a while she fell asleep. Laika was stunned by what had just happened and took out Rockmans PET.

"Rockman."

"Hai, Laika?"

"Why doesn't she want to come?" Rockman bit his lip, this wasn't one of his favorite stories to tell. He took a deep breath and started telling the the time he was finished, the rest of the group minus Trill wore looks of murder on their faces.

"I hope Netto can forgive me. It's one of the skeletons in her closet, but you would have found out eventually."

Enzan's grip on Netto tightened as he glared out the window and into the starry night sky. He would definitely change this, once and for all.

Me: Well there it is. The first arc of the fic. Like? Hate? Love? Review! (bows)This is my first fic so be nice. Chapter 2 will be up as soon as possible. More characters will also show up.
