OWNERS GUIDE AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL

Xiaolin Showdown Division- CHASE YOUNG unit

Disclaimer: The writer of this manual does not own Xiaolin Showdown or any of the respective characters mentioned. She also does not own the Owner’s Guide and Maintenance Manual format which belongs to someone else.

Warnings: Contains mild implied stuff that may be inappropriate for younger audiences. Spoilers if the reader is not far into the show.

Note from the Writer: Well, I read one of these for Itachi from Naruto, and I couldn’t resist making one myself!

CONGRATULATIONS! You are now the proud owner of your very own CHASE YOUNG Unit! To unlock the full potential of your new Immortal tai-chi master, please read the following guide carefully. Misuse of the CHASSE YOUNG may prove hazardous to your physical or mental well-being.

Important Note: Although the CHASE YOUNG unit is, in fact, a manufactured unit, it is NOT a robot, and treating it as such may lead to bodily harm. The CHASE YOUNG is, additionally, not made of metal or any other hard material, but in fact of a combination of elements and substances similar to that of the human body. It is able to use the five senses to their full capacity and judge which actions to take based on information collected through them. It can also feel emotions and sensations such as happiness, sadness, surprise, anger, pain, and pleasure. The unit can also do all the ‘activities’ humans can.

If you want to dress him up in a schoolgirl uniform, go ahead, although I suggest going to get your head examined.

Also, note that all of the unit’s armor and underwear are equipped with spikes. If they interfere with your activities with the unit, feel free to unprogram them through the control panel located inside the back of the armor.

Removing your CHASE YOUNG from its box

If you read this section carefully and follow all instructions, extracting your Heylin Warrior from his box should be a relatively simple and painless procedure.

Step 1: Remove outer packaging (i.e. the adhesive tape and steel chains that prevent your CHASE from escaping) and carefully open the top. (Caution is recommended)

Step 2: Pour some Lao Mang Long Soup (included) into a bowl and hold where the CHASE can see them. When he attempts to grab it, move it away and try to coax him out.

Step 3: While he is drinking it, whack him on the head to knock him unconscious (but take care not to cause unnecessary damage)

Step 4: Open the small control panel located on his middle back and enter the enclosed ownership code and close said panel. (Make sure you enter the code correctly. Once the panel is closed it will disappear.)

Step 5: Remove the magic-sealing tags on his arms which keep him from teleporting out of the box or destroying it and the unit should wake up due to the sudden magic flow. Ensure that you are the first person the CHASE YOUNG sees after waking him up.

If you have done the procedure correctly, he should not try to kill you and allow you to enjoy the benefits of owning a CHASE YOUNG!

Warning: If the box is empty upon opening, the preventive measures have failed and the unit has escaped. He is most likely standing behind you.

Feel free to panic.

Programming

Your CHASE YOUNG has been programmed with a number of useful functions and designed to maximize your own benefit and pleasure.

Trainer: Your CHASE YOUNG is a master at Tai-chi, magic, and numerous other skills. If you so wish, it will gladly help you train to be almost as strong (if not as strong) as he is. And then you’ll have amazing abilities too!

Assassin/Torturer: If you have an enemy you can’t defeat or someone you severely dislike, your CHASE YOUNG will gladly take care of them for you. People won’t try to attack you again!

Bodyguard: If you program him correctly, the CHASE YOUNG can be the perfect guard. He will let no one with ill intentions even so much as touch you. Scare all your enemies away!

Spy: In addition to his crying orb, which will allow you to view anyone and anything in the world, his Warrior cats can also take the form of crows which will spy on anyone you wish and report back to you with all they said and did.

If you so desire, you can also experiment with whatever else your unit can do.

Modes

Your CHASE YOUNG comes with the following modes:

Heylin Warlord (default)

Antisocial

Helpful

Dragon

Homicidal

Slash

Xiaolin (Locked)

Out of Character (Locked)

In the antisocial mode, your CHASE YOUNG will not want to talk to other people and probably kill/maim them if they are being exceptionally annoying.

In the helpful mode your CHASE YOUNG unit will be helpful. From if you are stuck with a problem to facing 10000 years of Darkness, your CHASE YOUNG will go with you through the trials and challenges, assisting however he can.

The Dragon mode is easily accessed once your CHASE YOUNG unit has drank the Lao Mang Long Soup at least once. Whenever he (or you) wishes, he will be able to turn into a reptilian dragon-creature increasing his strength and power.

The homicidal mode is not recommended to use. In this mode, the CHASE YOUNG unit will want to murder everyone who annoys, irritates, etc. him.

The Xiaolin Mode is locked. If you wish to unlock it, Simply obtain a Sands of Time© Shen Gong Wu and travel back in time to stop the HANNIBAL ROY BEAN unit from turning your CHASE YOUNG unit to the Heylin.) Note: This may result in a MASTER MONK GUAN unit becoming evil. ) After this, to return your CHASE YOUNG to return to his normal Heylin Self, give him some Lao Mang Long soup, and Voila! Not only is your unit normal again, but the Xiaolin Mode is now unlocked to be accessed as you please.

The Slash mode should be handled delicately. While initially unlocked, it is not recommended to place your CHASE YOUNG into this mode too often, unless, of course, the one you wish to pair up with your CHASE YOUNG is male. It is not wise to use it for your amusement because if kept in this mode too long it will be stuck in it.

The Out of Character mode is also locked. If you need to unlock it, buy a Patented OOC Hacker© available at all stores.

Relations with other Units

OMI- The CHASE YOUNG unit gets along well with the OMI unit. They have a mutual respect for each other. However, if together for prolonged periods of time, the CHASE will see potential in the OMI and try to turn it to the Heylin Side. Likewise, the OMI will try to turn the CHASE to the Xiaolin. If you use the Slash mode, OMI is the best choice to pair your CHASE with. CHASE YOUNG and OMI units also fight well together. If the CHASE YOUNG is in Xiaolin Mode, it will get along even better with the OMI.

KIMIKO TOHOMIKO- Although they do not meet much, if CHASE YOUNG units and KIMIKO units are left together for prolonged periods of time, they will either fight or perhaps start to develop feelings toward each other, depending on which mode you set them to.

JACK SPICER- CHASE YOUNG units tend to find JACK SPICER units as annoying. They will ignore the JACK SPICER units most of the time. If you REALLY want to pair them up in a romantic relationship, hack into the CHASE’s Out of Character mode and then set it to Slash.

WUYA- CHASE YOUNG units also tend to find WUYA units annoying, but they will put up with them. The CHASE YOUNG will probably not develop feelings for the WUYA even if you leave them together. If you wish for the pairing to happen, again, hack into the Out of Character mode.

MASTER MONK GUAN- CHASE YOUNG and MASTER MONK GUAN units tend to fight when they meet, but if they must work together they can do it well. In Xiaolin Mode, CHASE YOUNG and MASTER MONK GUAN will be best friends.

HANNIBAL ROY BEAN- The CHASE YOUNG unit hates the HANNIBAL ROY BEAN unit, even though the HANNIBAL ROY BEAN was the one that turned him evil. When they meet they will fight and CHASE YOUNG will try to lock the HANNIBAL ROY BEAN in the Ying Yang world, if he has one of the Yo-yos nearby.

XIAOLIN PLAYSET- The Xiaolin Playset includes the KIMIKO TOHOMIKO and OMI units mentioned above, as well as RAIMUNDO PEDEROSA, CLAY BAILY, and MASTER FUNG units. When put together, the CHASE YOUNG unit will most likely fight with the other units, or try to convert them. The Xiaolin Mode CHASE YOUNG will get along with the other units very well.

Living Conditions

CHASE YOUNG units prefer to live in big beautiful palaces, and if you happen to have one it will be great. If you are constrained by financial issues however, it would be best to have a big house at the least. You should also provide the unit with training grounds so he will be able to keep in perfect shape.

Cleaning

All the Chase Young units need to be cleaned. They are capable of doing it themselves, but will not protest if you prefer to bathe them personally. They will probably do little more than stand there while you have fun ‘bathing’ them. (Note: CHASE YOUNG units like to bathe in a large bathtub/shower, so if you have enough money, it will make the unit happier.)

Warning: If you have a unit particularly resistant to being bathed, do not try to force the issue. It could get you killed. Instead, gently coax your unit into allowing you to share his shower but minimize contact for your own safety, until he can be persuaded that bath time really was meant to involve two people doing questionable things.

Feeding

Your CHASE YOUNG will eat enough to fill his stomach at mealtime. He should be fed three balanced meals a day and do not forget to always give him his Lao Mang Long Soup.

Rest

The CHASE YOUNG unit does not get tired easily, provided that you provide him with a nice bed and room. Other sleeping arrangements are optional as your CHASE YOUNG will be comfortable sleeping alone or sharing the bed. Do not be surprised if at first he does not respond in bed. This is perfectly natural for a unit who comes off as not very romantic. Use your fangirl (or fanboy) abilities to charm the pants off him, literally! Of course, this might just provoke or annoy him, but you should get a response eventually. He may be evil, but he still has hormones to burn.

Warning: The manufacturers will not be responsible for marital/relationship disputes that arise from dubious activities between the owner and their unit.

Final Note

With loving care, your Heylin Warrior will become a physically stunning and very intelligent and gifted young man despite the fact that he may be evil and dangerous. Nevertheless, the CHASE YOUNG is a certified bishonen and will provide you with first-rate service and an abundance with talented warrior babies for thousands of years, if you so wish.
