I don't own a thing!
Edward watched from afar as Bella ran to the werewolf, and felt his heart breaking. The family had returned to Forks after Alice saw that Victoria was in the area, and fear for Bella's safety set in. They had all returned in the hopes of being able to protect her, and Edward hoped they would be able to restart their relation ship. However, watching her with the wolf he could see that she'd done exactly as he'd asked of her…forgotten him.
"Harry! What are you doing out of bed?" Came the scolding voice of Hermione Granger. He'd had no idea where he was when he'd woken, so had gone searching for answers. The last thing he'd remembered was returning to his aunt's house, and then everything was a blur.
"Mione, where are we, and how did I get here?" He was shocked by how feminine his voice had sounded.
"Harry, I think you need to sit down." The girl said as she helped him to the couch in the room.
"Hermione, what's going on? What's wrong with me?"
"Harry, I'll explain everything, but first is there anything I can get you?" When he shook his head she continued. "What's the last thing you remember?"
"I remember going back to my aunt's and uncle's after the final battle, but nothing after that."
"Well, I don't really know where to start. I guess it all started when Ron and I were in the library at headquarters. We saw Snape in there, and he was reading something, which he crumpled up into a ball, and threw into the fire before storming out. He didn't see it bounce out of the fire, nor Ron and me pick it up. It turned out the be a letter from Lily Potter, telling him of how she and her husband took Snapes daughter and passed her off as their son by way of complicated charms. How Dumbledore had told them it was important for the to do so for the Order to keep their spy." Hermione watched as realization dawned on her best friend.
"I'm not their son?"
"I'm afraid not Harry. The letter also said that if she and James were dead you would most likely go to her sister, and that you would not be treated properly. Ron and I confronted Snape, and told him he needed to go get you. He got angry with us for reading his letter, and said this was some ploy of Lily's to make him care for her son. He said he'd never had a child, and would have remembered if he had." Hermione was crying now.
"Ron and I went and got you instead. When we got there your uncle was…" she stopped here, unable to go on.
She didn't need to, Harry knew exactly what they would have seen. There was a reason he never remembered his summers with the Dursleys. It was just easier to let his consciousness recede into the back of his mind and suppress what happened there. It was a trick he'd learned as a child during one of his many beatings.
"It's alright Mione." Harry said as he wrapped his arms around the girl, feeling every inch of his body protest.
"No it isn't!" Hermione yelled, startling him. "We thought you were dead. Ron physically threw him off you. You were so pale, and not moving. We didn't know what to do; we had to get you out of there, but were unsure if it was safe to do so. Finally we called for a muggle ambulance and they came and took you to a muggle hospital. We knew you couldn't stay there long because the letter said that you would change back to your original form on your birthday."
"Ron ended up writing a letter to Ginny, and she showed up a day later with Draco. He'd managed to steal a portkey from his father's office. We poured over maps the rest of the day trying to find a place where we could hide, and finally settled on Forks, Washington. Using the portkey we came here, and found a small hotel where we stayed for a few days until Draco found a house large enough for the five of us. That is where we are now."
Harry felt like his head was spinning with everything he'd heard. He'd never thought it would be Ginny's boyfriend who would be the one to step up and help them out, but he'd very likely saved their lives or at least saved his. Dumbledore would have wasted no time in sending him back to the Dursleys, even though Voldemort had been killed at the end of his sixth year. The old man would have said he needed to be protected from the deatheaters still on the loose.
"Hermione, do you have a mirror?"
"I don't think you should see yourself right now." She whispered.
"I've seen myself covered in bruises pretty much all my life. I want to see what I look like now." She nodded and helped him stand, helping him to the bathroom. Standing next to her, looking in the mirror he was a little disgruntled to see he wasn't even as tall as her, coming maybe up to her fore head. He guessed he was maybe 5'ft 4'in, average for a girl. He could see he now had long curly black hair, and bright blue eyes, familiar blue eyes. Her nose was small, and her cheekbones were high. Finally he looked lower than his face, and saw pair of small round breasts, feeling a blush creep across his cheeks. Her body was small and slender, almost delicate looking.
"You look kind of like an elf." Hermione giggled. That was when he remembered the conversation he'd had with his godfather. Sirius was an elf, which had never found his mate. However if he had and the mate was male Sirius would have been able to conceive and carry a child to term. Sirius also had bright blue eyes.
Lucius Malfoy reread the letter his son had sent him. He couldn't believe his best friend may have a child out there somewhere, but was happy for the man. Severus had only wanted one thing in life, and that was a family.
"So glad you could make it." He nodded his head politely at the three people with his friend. He'd wondered if there was something between Severus and Narcissa's cousin for a long time, but had never been able to prove it. "How is your daughter Sirius?"
"What the fuck are you talking about Malfoy, I don't have a child." The smaller of the black haired men spat at him, while his pet wolf and the wolf's wife looked confused.
"Well I guess that answers my question then." Lucius said as he turned to pour whiskey into four glasses. He then turned and handed a glass to each of the men, asking them to sit down. He then told them everything he knew of the situation. "I was hoping you would let Severus examine your memories, to see if you'd ever been obliviated. He's much better at it than I am."
Severus watched as Black nodded, and was told to lie back. When the man was comfortable he moved to kneel next to him, and looking him straight in the eye he gently entered his mind. He didn't think he'd find much, but hoped for some good blackmail material. It was about an hour later that he found a locked door, and wasn't going to be able to enter it without hurting the man. So he pulled out of his mind.
"There were memories that were supposed to be obliviated, but it seemed Black knew what they were doing and locked those away. I can get to them, but it's going to hurt…a lot."
"Do it." Came Black's shaky voice. "If I really have a daughter out there I want to know about it."
Having permission he dove back in and found the door again, blasting it open, assaulting him with memory after memory. Finally he found the earliest one and watched.
"I've come to strike up a deal with you Snape." Said James Potter. Severus noticed they were in the room of requirement, and wondered why he didn't remember this.
"If this is about me keeping your wolf's secret then forget about it." The younger Severus spat at the boy.
"But it wasn't Remus' fault that you were in the shack." James said, turning to glare at his best friend. "It was Sirius' fault, and he's willing to let you humiliate him if it means you'll keep Remus secret."
Severus saw the younger Sirius didn't protest, so figured the two had talked this over already. He then turned his attention to his younger self, who appeared to be thinking it over. Finally the boy nodded, and Severus watched as James stood. "I was hoping you'd say that as the potion I slipped into his drink should be kicking in soon." With that Potter stood and walked out of the room, "Now the door is going to lock behind me, and not open again until you've done what you needed to." With that he was gone.
Severus was shocked to see the stunned look on Sirius' face. Apparently this was not part of the plan. He watched, waiting for the potion to kick in, and stared in horror when it finally did. "What is the matter with you?" The younger Severus asked when he saw Black biting back the pain filled sobs. The older Severus knew exactly what was going on. It is illegal to give an elf aphrodisiac potions for a reason. Elves are already sexual beings; to give them a potion to increase this would cause inhumane amounts of pain.
He watched as his younger self worked this out as well, and then swore. "Black, do you know who your mate is?" He didn't want some angry dominant coming after him for raping their mate.
"He'd never want me, so I never told him." Black said through clenched teeth, fighting the urge to cry out.
Both Severus' couldn't believe what they were being told. While elves were submissive creatures they could live without their mates. However any dominant male dreamed of having an elf as their partner. "Who was your mate?" The younger one asked.
"You." Sirius couldn't hold back his scream anymore. When he was better able to think through the pain he noticed his clothes were being removed. "What are you doing?"
"The pain isn't going to end until we've had sex, so that is what we are going to do. I'm going to claim what is rightfully MINE." The younger Severus said, before finishing removing the elf's clothes, and then his own.
When their bare skin touched he noted Sirius seemed to be in less pain. He did what he could to quickly prepare his mate, cursing James Potter for leaving nothing for him to lubricate the opening with. Finally when he thought the smaller male was ready he slowly pushed in, stopping every once in a while for him to adjust to him.
Severus watched as his younger self thrust in and out of the smaller male, before thrusting in one last time and holding himself there, obviously climaxing. He then saw the pink glow that surrounded the elf's stomach, as their daughter was conceived.
He watched as the two lie there together for a while before finally getting up and putting their clothes back on. When they exited the room they saw James Potter leaning against the wall opposite them. "Everything turn out well then." The cocky teen said.
"Very well." The younger Severus said, but he put his arm out when Sirius moved to join James, affectively stopping the boy. "Now I think it's time you left Potter."
"I'm not going anywhere without my best friend." James said, reaching for his wand.
"Some friend you are. You sold you Elvin best mate to me for my silence. Tell me Potter, do you know what happens when an elf has sex for the first time with their mate?" The older Severus watched as James Potter's eyes flew wide, and Sirius' hands went down to cover his stomach. "You will stay away from my mate and child, or so help me Merlin I will kill you."
Severus watched the memories as the passed, watched as they had the pregnancy frozen, so that Sirius wouldn't have the baby until he were older, and wasn't at risk of dieing during labor. Elves never mated until they were over the age of 21 because before then their bodies weren't strong enough to carry to term and give birth.
He saw when his daughter had been born, then when she was a month old they were called into the headmasters office. He watched as Dumbledore told them to give up their daughter, as they couldn't afford to have Severus stop spying. He watched as the young couple tried to leave, only to be bound to their chairs and their daughter taken from them and placed in the arms of Lily Potter. Then Dumbledore's wand was pointed as Severus and the man's memories of his time with Sirius were taken from him. He then noticed as the old man gloated to Sirius about how well his plan had worked, never noticing the look on the man's face as he locked the memories away.
Gently he pulled out of his mate's mind, but his heart broke when he saw Sirius crying. He gathered the man into his arms, trying to calm him. "I want her back." Sirius whispered, clinging to his mate.
"She's at her relatives, we'll get her right away." Severus tried to calm his elf.
"I'm afraid it won't be that easy." Lucius said, saddened by the devastated look on his friend's face. Just then the door opened, and the Weasleys and Grangers were brought in. "Thank you for coming." He told the two families.
"You said you knew where are children are?" Arthur spoke for the group.
"I know they are together, but don't know where they are. Before they left my son wrote a letter saying a friend was in trouble, and they were all leaving together to hide her until it was safe."
"Who was in danger?" Molly asked, now worrying for all the children involved.
"My daughter." Severus said as realization dawned on him. He clutched his mate to him tighter when the man seemed to cry harder, sobs wracking his body. He saw the confused looks of many of the faces so he quickly explained what he saw in his mate's mind. "We'd named her Helen Grace Snape."
