She followed the familiar path to a stream and sat at the banks.

Kagome stared at the softly flowing water, feeling the painful memories come fully to the surface. She grasped a rock and started to skip stones. She decided to take a walk in the forest, it always calmed her so that she could find peace and order in the chaotic nightmare that she called a life. She sighed when she was under the canopy of the brush and trees that made up the majority of the past was made of. Kagome continued to walk when she saw the path begin to get bumpy and jagged. She had found this path once when she was fuming at Inuyasha and she felt that she was connected to the place that she was headed to. She broke through the tree line an found herself in the field of flowers that she had grown used to. Kagome fell back into the softly scented flowers and found herself in peace of mind and sighing in bliss. Oh how she had missed this place. The field was beautiful shades of blue, green, red, yellow and violet. She felt herself drift from her body when she heard the birds start chirping, a beautiful sound that seemed to only happen when she was here. Her head lolled on her shoulders and she felt herself on the brink of sleep. There was something special about to this field for she never felt quite this at peace. There was something familiar she felt in this place, and it was on the very tip of her tongue when she thought about it.

Wait for it, aha here it is, 'hn' with a slight knowing accent means... no dip dumb ass.” Kagome rolled her eyes and then found herself not touching the earth like she usually did. Aha that's the reason... Kagome had noticed the vice like grip on her neck and she had to grasp the hand that was holding her from earth and pressing her onto the trunk of the tree. “Wench, watch your tongue, unless you wish it cut out of your mouth.” Kagome unwisely kept talking at Sesshomaru, threatening things worse than death onto the oppressing youkai lord. “What do you think you are doing?! Let me go! Lemme' alone!” Kagome struggled in his grasp and looked at him strangely when he did nothing. Kagome had never known him to do nothing and her eyes widened when his head closed in near hers.

“You know onna, that in youkai society, when a female challenges a males authority in such a open way, she is asking him to assert his power as alpha upon her.” His sentence finished with a lick to her ear and a light rub to her chest. Kagome sputtered and opened her mouth to tell him off,but he had tried to kiss her. He chuckled and pushed his body onto hers, forcing her to submit.
