Chapter 1

The Fox Gift

Kyuubi the Nine-Tailed fox had been known for many things in his long immortal life, death, destruction, hatred, even cruelty. Yet as he felt the life of his jailer slowly ebbing away after a rather brutal beating at the hands of several Leaf Village Chunin he felt himself strangely holding humans in even more contempt. They did not see pass their own frail existence and those they held dear, he did admire their ability to do things with far more evil and immoral outlook then he could ever do. Still the idea to murder a child for something that was not his fault was beyond heartless. Kyuubi had a heart sure it was blacker then the darkest night, but still he had a heart. He would never simply kill a child the reasons these pathetic mortals held. “Seems I have a decision to make,” the fox thought a moment, feeling the boy’s life ebb even further. The closest ANBU had been led away by some Chunin being decoys. The boy had the demon fox guessed a few minutes left before he finally died. There was two ways for the fox two save his container the first was to send out a chakra pulse that would no doubt alert higher ranked ninja to the boy’s location, however that may result in another ninja finishing the job, the second was to give the boy his entire chakra store and hope that he would live through it. This would essentially kill the fox’s chances of ever becoming free. “I’ll do both and hope who ever first finds him will not finish what other’s have started. Remember this kit, fulfill that dream of yours if not when we finally do meet our final judgment I’ll make sure you are burned within the fires of hell.”

A few moments later a huge pillar of chakra launched into the sky and with it a pulse went through the entire village waking all the shinobi. “Naruto,” Sarutobi whispered quickly dressing and leaping out the window as the pillar of red chakra continued soaring into the sky. However the first to arrive under the pillar of red energy was Hiashi Hyuga and what he saw made him angry, on the ground in a blood of his own blood was the son of his long time best friend Minato Namikaze, Naruto’s more severe injuries had just finished healing however it wasn’t what cause him to pause, the red chakra was slowly changing color, at first it was unnoticeable, but as time grew the pillar of light remained steady. “Hiashi what’s wrong with Naruto?” Sarutobi asked approaching.

“The boy has been mortally wounded, Lord Hokage,” Hiashi seethed not at his leader but at the circumstances. “However his body is healing and something strange is happening to his chakra as well as that of the Nine-tailed fox.”

Sarutobi watched a moment, eyes widening noticing the seal on Naruto’s stomach was changing, “My god that seal, Minato stated when Naruto finished absorbing the Nine-tailed fox’s chakra it would change to something that resembled the fox.”

Hiashi looked down at the seal as well as the red chakra vanished almost completely mixing with Naruto’s natural chakra turning purple, “What does this mean, Lord Hokage?”

“Kyuubi somehow this night has given up his Chakra possibly his soul to save Naruto’s life,” Sarutobi gently put a blanket over Naruto seeing the seal had turned into the black outline of a fox. “Naruto is no longer a container; instead he is a boy with the chakra capacity of a Kage.”

Hiashi looked down at the boy and smiled slightly as several other Shinobi gathered many heard Sarutobi’s declaration, “Are you sure?” Fugaku Uchiha asked stepping forward, “The fox is finally gone?”

“Yes, whatever happened this night Naruto, has once again saved this village,” Sarutobi’s eyes narrowed, “However I want those that tried to kill him tonight found and executed do I make myself clear.” The Uchiha clan gather all nodded and with a swirl of wind and leaves vanished to begin investigating; they already had two suspects that could be put under interrogation.

Hiashi gently bent down and picked up the boy, “Does the boy have a home, Lord Hokage?”

“Yes, a small apartment another block away,” Sarutobi escorted Naruto to his home, Hiashi looked at the small one bedroom apartment, inside the kitchen he notice a wall of cupped Ramen of varying flavors in his closet he saw some rather loud colored outfits and as for other worldly possession he saw a few Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and some discarded Genjutsu scrolls, the Genjutsu scrolls had the words ‘These Suck’ written across them. No family photos or photos of any kind, Hiashi frowned at it, the boy had been in the academy for nearly two years, and hadn’t made many friends. “Hopefully things will change.”

“Has something been occurring with Minato’s son that I have not been made aware of?” Hiashi asked.

“Tonight has been by far the worse but Naruto has been attacked on many occasions. So much so that he foster’s a great deal of fear toward some adults and distrust many of them,” the Hokage stated.

“I should have been informed of this,” Hiashi frowned a moment before slumping his shoulders shaking his head. “No that’s not true I should have seen this coming and turned a blind eye to it like many of the other Council clans.”

“If you wish to make up for your blindness my friend, then teach him some Taijutsu, the boy has been trying for months for his Academy teacher to teach him,” Sarutobi sighed, “That and his Clone jutsu’s have really cause him trouble, because of his lack of Chakra control.”

“I can only teach him the basics of Taijutsu, I cannot teach him the Juuken(not sure I spelled that right.). As for his chakra control that will take longer,” Hiashi stated and smiled a bit.

“I bring him by in the morning,” Sarutobi stated.

Author’s Note: Yep this is my version of super Ninja Naruto, he’ll be totally out classing his classmates, starting next chapter. This is a strictly a Naruto/Hinata story, takes place just after Naruto has begun in the Ninja Academy, Hinata has begun developing her crush on him already. I’d like a co-writer on this to help me out fleshing the details and stuff.
