Summer: This is my version of Lily and James Potter. How they got together.

Over the past few months, working with James as Heads were quite fun. I have noticed that his hair’s deflated and he isn’t such an arrogant toe rag. He’s actually quite nice to work with. Lily thought. Maybe I should give him a chance. I just say yes when he asks again. Which will be soon. I hope. But he hasn’t asked me that question over a week. Maybe he has given up. OH NOOOO! He can’t just give up!!! No!!!

Lily ran to pond by the Hogwarts. Crying hopelessly. Now that James Potter, the arrogant toe rag that had bothered her restlessly for 4 years, has given up on her. She was sad. Usually he would ask repeatedly at an hour’s interval. During the summer, he would plague her with many owls. Hoping to grant him a date. But he hasn’t brought up anything for the past week.

She ran towards the lake. Over the muddy grass. She sat down, looking at her reflection in the water. Little did she know that the Marauders were standing behind the trees, watching her.

James slowly walked towards her. It pained him to see her cry. He sat down beside her and asked, “Why are you crying, Lily flower?”

“Because the person I like is probably not going to see me anymore since I’m graduating in a few months.”

“Well, he would be an idiot because you’re the most beautiful, sensitive, kindest girl on the planet.” James was actually jealous of this guy she was talking about, though he did not show his affections.

“Thanks. But I’m afraid he might forget about me. What should I do?” she asked, wiping away a tear.

“Go up to him and kiss him senseless. I don’t mind a girl coming up to me kissing me senseless.”

“Really? Thanks for your advice. I’ll go do just the thing.” With that, she brought her lips up to his and kissed him senseless. They actually fell into the lake. Oblivious to the fact that Sirius and Remus were catcalling.
