\This is based off of a picture off of a picture I saw on deviantART (it's called Modern Avatards...with Wheels if you want to find it)/
/I love Appa, but because sky bison, aren't real, Appa is going to have to be a very unique dog, he still looks like Appa, but he's miniaturized. Also Momo is still in this world, and he is still the winged lemur, we all love him as!\
\The youngest person in this fic (Toph) is 15 and everyone else is sixteen or seventeen, and I know that they really aren't that close in age in the show, but bare with me, please!/
/Since no one has the ability of elements in the real world, Aang and friends will have interest in things (kind of) related to their element(s) in the show\

Ever since his mom re married, Aang has gone through some changes...like moving, going to a new school, and a new step sister. Lucky for Aang, his new sister is nice enough to let him into her group of friend, but unluckily for Aang, not everyone is so nice...

Aang sighed as he put the last of the boxes into his old pick up truck. He hoped it would make into the new house, that was miles away. His mom and his dog, Appa, were already in the passenger seat, waiting for him to start the car.
“Everything in the back?” she asked, as Aang started his car.
“Yeah,” grumbled Aang, as he pulled out of the drive way of their old home. About a month ago, Aang's mom had remarried, and because Luke's house was a lot bigger then his mom's, they where moving to his home, where he and his daughter, Elphie, lived.
“Can you at least pretend to like them? You don't have to actually like them, just pretend!” begged his mom, who knew he wasn't happy about moving or having a new 'daddy' or a new sister.
“Yes ma'am,” said Aang, not really wanting to even pretend. His mom gave him a look, but said nothing. Most of the car ride was quite, the only the time the two talked was when one had to go to the bathroom, or when they got hungry. It took about fourteen hours to get to the new home, and town.
“Wow, they have a beach house?” said Aang, as he got out of his truck.
“Welcome!” said a male voice, coming form the front door. Aang looked up at the man, who seemed so happy to have them here. His hair was a graying red color, and he was in a suit, minus a jacket. Aang watched as his mom, headed over to the man, giving him a kiss. Aang found it funny to look at the two. His mom was about a foot shorter then the man, and her brown hair looked funny with Luke's red hair.
“Where's Elphie?” asked Aang's mom, looking around for her new daughter.
“She went clothes shopping with one of her school friends. She said that she'd be home for dinner. So don't worry, Alexia” replied Luke, smiling at his new wife.
“She didn't want to be here to greet us?” asked Alexia.
“No she did, but she said that would be willing to bring home food from a restaurant near the store. I told her I'd ask you guys, and call her and tell her if it's a go or not,” explained Luke.
“Aang, what do you think?” asked Alexia, looking over at Aang, who only nodded his head yes, “Call and tell her that it's a go!” Luke smiled and gave Alexia another quick kiss, before showing Aang to his new room, and called Elphie, to tell her to pick up some food.
A little before six, Elphie came home, holding a few dozen bags. She put her bag with clothes by the stares, and headed into the kitchen with the bags of food.
“So..did you buy the whole store?” asked Luke, looking at the bags.
“No. Some of the clothe is for Toph, she wasn't able to go with me and Katara, but we'll get them to her tomorrow,” replied Elphie, taking the Chinese food out of the bag.
“Why couldn't Toph get the clothes?” asked Luke, taking out some plates.
“The sale was only one day! And believe it or not, Katara and I had to fight to get the those clothes for Toph!” replied Elphie, “Where are Alexia and Aang?”
“Alexia is putting somethings away, as is Aang. They'll be down in a minute,” said Luck, diving up the food accordingly, “Any ways, why did you have shop sales for Toph? Aren't her parent filthy rich?”
“Yes, but Toph doesn't like to spend their money...unless she pissed at them!” replied Elphie, as Alexia came down the stares. Elphie was happy for her dad! Besides, Alexia was so much nicer (and prettier) then her mother, and Aang would eventually go back to the nice fun loving guy he was, he just needed to get used to his surroundings.
“Hey there Elphie!” said Alexia, as Elphie came over to give her a hug.
“Hey, welcome home!” said Elphie, smiling.
“You sure bought a lot of things,” said Alexia, looking at the bags.
“Only some are for me, others are for one of my friends,” explained Elphie, “Hey Aang!”
“Hey Elphie,” replied Aang, walking past his mom and Elphie.
“Wait a minute...did you dye you hair?” asked Alexia, looking Elphie over.
“Just a little, I mean it's still brown, it's jut lighter,” replied Elphie, smiling.
“Looks good!” said Alexia, as she and Elphie headed over to the table. The dinner table conversation was mostly Luke going on and on about house rules, and that the rules would still be in place when he and Alexia went away for their honeymoon.
“So you guys leave the day after we start school?” asked Elphie, taking a bite of her food.
“Yes, and is Aang going to go on the camping trip with you and your friends at the end of the week?” asked Luke, eying Elphie.
“If he and the gang get along and he wants to, he is welcome too!” said Elphie.
“Wait what camping trip?” asked Alexia, looking between Luke and Elphie.
“Every year, since first grade, me and my friends have been going camping every Friday of every month through out the school year,” explained Elphie, “And if Aang want to some, I can pull the brother card!”
“Brother card?” asked Aang
“It mean that because your my brother, you get to come!” explained Elphie, smiling at Aang.
“And what will Appa and Momo do?” asked Aang, who wasn't against the idea of camping. Momo was Elphie's flaying lemur, who was a little curious....about everything.
“Believe it or not, Momo knows how to handle himself, and I think Appa will be fine,” said Elphie, pointing over to Appa, who was happily eating a rug.
“Appa no,” said Aang. Appa stopped, and moved onto another (further away) rug.
“So...Aang are you ready for school in two weeks?” asked Luke, who really did care about the rugs.
\-+-+-\Author Talk/+-+-+/
.O: Okay this is the part where I talk with some characters off of the show, but not today because this is only the prologue, and I decided not to bug them, besides I'm not sure who I should drag....I mean ask to talk...what do you guys think? Should I ask Sokka, Aang, Toph, or Zuko? So anyways, REVIEW! Please, review if you like it, don't review if you're going to go off on me about my OC's or something like that. Also sorry for any misspellings or bad grammar...I'm really bad at those two things...and if you wont to point them put, nicely, I wont mind, 'cause it will help me in the future! So review if you wont to say something nice, or have some criticism (that isn't rude).
