AN: Okay, I’m going back to the days of odd angst. I hope it works.

Prologue

I am average. I have an average body, average hair, and average looks. I hail from the middle class suburbs in the Midwestern U.S. I am an only child of average, working class parents who are so average, they named their only daughter Isabella. Not a boring name, not exotic, just average. Clearly, they expected me to be average, just like them. My family suffers from what I suspect is normal, familial psychosis and dysfunction- all completely average, mind you.

I don’t do anything particularly intriguing, I have no amazing talents. I enjoy a good book, a good piece of gossip, the time of day between dinner and sleep, good music, smelling each deodorant at the drugstore and finding good things in most people.

All of this mediocrity is why the Autumn I moved to another, smaller average town, I was looking for anything that could show me something other than…tedium.

I could go on, and tell stories of my random friendships and the battles and small fires that were the average divorce of my average parents…but this story isn’t about them.

This one is about addiction and collision.

Destruction of people.

This one is about me and Edward.

Edward, who isn’t average, who isn’t good, who isn’t bad…he simply is.
