We landed in a large front lawn (which looked more like a forest!) overlooking a huge house.)

“Ok Max! Where the hell are we?” Iggy asked, or rather screeched at me. I think this was due to two things. One is that he was slightly irritated at me for letting Fang carry Ella. Two is that Total left him a little, errm, present on his T-Shirt.

Now years of experience had taught me to act like you know where we are even if you didn’t have a clue. Years of experience can be really handy at times!

“Well. I think. Well judging from the, err, windows of the house I think it is obviously owned by someone, and whoever that someone is, is probably the Erasers next target, so we should probably go meet them.”

“What a genius speech” Fang muttered sarcastically in my ear. “I too can obviously see all the things you just explained by the fact that they have double-glazed windows.”

At that very moment a woman walked out. Only that she was hardly a woman. She was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. I felt Fang go limp to the right of me. I kicked him in the shins. Hard! The woman stared at him inquisitively, and then addressed me.

“Hello,” She said politely, sticking out her hand. “My name is Bella”

I didn’t take the hand.

“Errm, if you don’t mind me asking.” I said in my politest voice “But who the bloody hell are you?”

“I could ask the same from you, seeing that you just flew onto my family’s lawn.”

Oh, so she’d seen the wings.

“Max!” Cried a voice from inside. Then came out a small, prancing woman, smiling at me like a long, lost, friend.

“And Fang as well!” She beamed “I don’t know the rest of you so well, but I’m guessing that you’re Iggy (points at Iggy.) You must be Nudge, Angel and Gazzy. But who’s she?”

She was pointing at Ella. Ella blushed and looked away. Seeing that all of these people are acting like they know us, I decided to use my well practiced blunt and rude, tone of voice.

“Great to know you recognize us! Wish I could say the same...?”

“Alice”

“Nice to meet you Alice. Now how the Hell do you know my name!”

“Let them inside.” Called a much clearer, peaceful voice.

And that was how we met the Cullens.

Turns out the Cullens are actually your friendly neighbourhood vampires, who are strictly ‘vegetarian’ and don’t eat people. Good to know!

Turns out they know more about this than we do. Supposedly the small one, errm Alice, can see into the future. Not just did she see us coming but she saw the Erasers get vamped up. Supposedly they were experimentally bitten, and they became an ultimate fighting machine. Completely controlled, and also amazingly powerful. Thankfully they don’t have all the powers of a vampire. Chiefly they can’t run. This means that they’ll take several days to arrive here. Which is good. In the meantime, we got to get to know the Cullens.

“So you can see the future?” Fang asked Alice politely.

“Yes.” She replied

“Can you see my future?”

“Yup, I see great tragedy surrounding you, beware of all things fried, and go easy on the hot dogs; one will try to kill you!”

“Really!” Fang asked, alarmed.

Alice snorted “No stupid. I see the future in visions. It’s not something I can just turn on and off. And anyway it’s the apples you should be worried about.”

“Why?” Fang asked.

“Oh you’ll find out in say...six seconds or so...”

Six seconds later I’d thrown an apple at him. He wasn’t very happy.

“So you can control people’s emotions. That’s so cool! I can do something like that too. If I touch something then I can feel the emotions of whoever’s touched it. It’s pretty cool sometimes but it’s really sad like, when they have had something bad happened to them.”

“Yeah” was all the guy, Jasper I think it was, could get out.

“Well, I have other powers too, though, so it’s ok like watch!” Nudge pulled a metal pen towards her. “See I’m magnetic! It’s pretty cool but kind of annoying sometimes, like once, I was on a tin ship, and I was on a big metallic toilet, and I got stuck to it. I spent an hour trying to get off it. Everyone was teasing about it for like, ages.”

“Oh!” Muttered Jasper, wincing slightly.

“So.” I said, glaring at Bella.

“So.” She replied. (In case you haven’t realized it yet, we haven’t been getting on that well so far! Might be partly to do with the way Fang went limp when he first saw her.)

“Oh, Max.” She exclaimed as one of her brothers walked towards her “This is Edward, Edward this is Max.”

“How do you, do?” He asked, bowing slightly.

“So are you guys, brother or sister then? Or are you all just tied together because of the vampire thing.” I asked

“Oh well actually, Edwards my husband.”

After that I was much warmer to Bella.

After the talking was over, the flock went into one of the Cullen’s, many spare bedrooms. We were starting to get used to sleeping in a bed by now which was definitely a novelty. After deciding on our sleeping arrangements (as usual I was sharing a room with Fang) we talked a bit about the Cullens. All of us seemed to like them, and we were all willing to stay here for a bit, at least until we found out some more about the approaching Eraser army. At this time Ella went out to the toilet. Iggy asked if she knew the way and she said she did. As she clambered downstairs, there was a huge crashing as the door was split to pieces. As me and the flock rushed down the stairs, so did Carlisle, leading the Cullens. A massive group of at least twenty Erasers were coming in through the doorway. Five were blocking the stairway, while three grabbed Ella.

Before they knew it, I was crashing into them.

Yay! Long chapter. Well it’s long for me at least. I told you I’d update quickly. But now I’m going to leave you on this huge cliff hanger until I get more reviews. Only joking! But seriously people! R&R! I’m not asking too much! Anyway this chapters over and I will try and add the next one quickly. But if I happen to get lots of Emails, from saying people have reviewed this, I might do it quicker!
