This takes place immediately after chapter seven. People react to the news that House and Wilson have hooked up. Dialogue only.

Cameron: "Did you know that House was gay?"

Chase: "I assumed he was bi."

Cameron: "So you knew?

Chase: "Yep."

Cameron: "How long have you known?"

Chase: "I don't know...a while."

Cameron: How could you not say something?"

Chase: "Uh...it never came up."

Cameron: "How did you even figure it out?"

Chase: "Before you came to work for him, I used to answer his emails. A couple of times, he forgot to clear his history."

Cameron: "Gay porn?"

Chase: "Gay porn, straight porn...anything porn. I always thought of House has someone who transcended sexuality."

Cameron: "So you knew about him dating Wilson?"

Chase: "Seven and a half months of online interaction hardly counts as dating."

Cameron: "Oh my God...do you think they’ve cyber sexed?"

Chase: "I’m not sure I'd want to know if they had..."

Cameron: "Did you know they’re getting married?"

Chase: "Yes."

Cameron: "You don’t think it’s weird?"

Chase: "Weird compared to what...us getting married? At least they won't have to buy a dress. Unless...hmm..."

Cameron: "Unless what?"

Chase: "Nevermind. I'll save that one for a rainy day."

Cameron: "And they haven’t seen each other in a year."

Chase: So?"

Cameron: "Does Wilson even know that House is kind of...you know?"

Chase: "I'm sure he does."

Cameron: "And he's okay with that?"

Chase: "From what I've observed, they’re both crazy. They’ll make a perfect couple."

Cameron: "Right. If they don’t kill each other first."

Chase: "Look...they’ll be miserable together. But they’ll be more miserable apart. They know that already, and they’ve accepted it. That's more than my parents were willing to do. I say if they're willing to give it a shot, more power to them. At least there aren't going to be any kids in the mix."

Foreman: "Did you know that House was gay?"

Chase: "Who told you?"

Foreman: "Cameron. So...did you know?"

Chase: "Yep."

Thirteen: "How did you find out?"

Chase: "He grabbed my ass."

Foreman: "Really?"

Chase: "No."

Thirteen: "Then why would you say that?"

Chase: "To see how gullible you were."

Thirteen: "You're lying. He did grab your ass, didn't he?"

Chase: "No. I actually don't think I'm his type."

Foreman: "And what's his type?"

Chase: "Wilson."

Foreman: "I said what, not who."

Chase: "And I said Wilson."

Foreman: "Then why would you even say that? The only reason to mention something like that is if..."

Chase: "Because I'm bored and the truth is much less interesting."

Thirteen: "Wow. Sounds like someone else we know..."

Foreman: "So how did you find out?"

Chase: "Why does it matter?"

Foreman: "I worked for him for five years...and it never once occurred to be that he might be gay. He must have told you something."

Chase: "He didn't tell me anything. You're just mad because he didn't hit on you."

Foreman: "He didn't hit on you either."

Chase: "And as you can see, I'm devastated."

Foreman: "There's no way you figured it out on your own."

Chase: "Maybe you’re just not as observant as you’d like to think."

Thirteen: "He guessed that I was bi, after only knowing me for a few months."

Chase: "That’s because you were trying so hard to hide it."

Thirteen: "That...makes no sense at all."

Chase: "Nothing screams I’ve got a great big secret like being...secretive. It was either that or you'd done time in prison, and House runs a criminal records check on everyone he hires."

Foreman: "You don’t think House is secretive?"

Chase: "House is an open book."

Foreman: "Yeah, except for when it comes to anything remotely...personal."

Chase: "But he tells you what matters. He tells you everything...so much that end up taking it for granted. You assume...he's got to be kidding, when the truth is, most of the time he isn't."

Kutner: "Hey, did you know House was gay?"

Chase: "Does anyone actually work around here?"

Taub: "I’ll take that as a yes."

Chase: "Why is everyone suddenly so interested in House’s sexuality?"

Kutner: "I don’t know. It’s cool, right?"

Chase: "If only everyone were so easily entertained. I take it Cameron told you."

Kutner: "No. I went to visit him this morning and he um...had a...special guest."

Chase: "Is that what they're calling it now?"

Kutner: "So...do you think he’s been in love with Wilson all this time?"

Chase: "Define all this time."

Taub: "Since...before Amber."

Chase: "If I tell you, will you go away?"

Kutner: "Depends on the answer."

Chase: "I think...probably at least as long as I’ve known him."

Taub: "And how long is that?"

Chase: "Six years."

Kutner: "Yes."

Chase: "You two started a pool, didn’t you?"

Taub: "You think House will care?"

Chase: "Not if you give him a big enough cut."

Cuddy: "Did you know that House is going to marry Wilson?"

Chase: "Oh, for the love of God..."

Cuddy: "What'd I say?"

Chase: "There's no way I'm the only one who knew. Are you people blind?"

Cuddy: "I'll just come back later..."

Chase: "Send out a memo or something: Attention everyone, House is gay. Please do not contact Dr. Chase regarding this matter..."

Cuddy: "You're obviously busy."

Chase: "Seriously..."
