Chris MacLean walked onto the dock of shame, stopping in front of the camera to sweep back his hair while flashing his trademark grin.

“Hello people of TV and beyond,” he shouted “we’re coming to you from Camp Wawanaka. It’s been a year since the campers were here last, and all the fans have been asking for more. Even though none of the campers wanted to come back. . . they had to.” Chris grinned wider. “Fine print bites huh? It’s time to welcome our former campers back to season 2 of Total. Drama. Island!”

At that moment, the Boat of Losers carrying Ezekiel pulled into the dock. Cowering and shivering, Ezekiel peered around.

“Isn’t anybody here yet eh?”

“Nope.” the sound of a voice scared Ezekiel so much he fell from the boat and onto the dock of shame. He quickly curled into the fetal position whimpering and mumbling under his breath. Chris looked over at him and raised an eyebrow, “o-k then. Anyway, here comes camper number two!” Justin, with his shirt off, stepped gracefully off the boat. When he saw no one there, his face fell.

“All that preparation for nothing.” he sighed, “not a single girl here.”

“Justin. Good to have you back man.”

“Thanks Chris.” The hunk said smiling. “I’m ready to conquer and destroy!” Chris was about to reply, when he was interrupted by very loud, very high-pitched squeals.

“EEEEEEEEEEE!” squealed Katie “look Sadie! Justin’s here! Oh my gosh isn’t he, like soooo hot?”

“Totally.” squealed Sadie “just look at those muscles. . . and chest. . . and face. . .”

“He’s perfect isn’t he?” Katie sighed.

“Ohmigosh! I was thinking, like, the exact same thing!” Both girls squealed louder, and hugged each other tightly.

“Katie, Sadie, good to have you back.” Chris walked up to them, wincing a little. “ I see you’re both as … um… happy as ever.”

“Oh, totally.” said Katie. “Me and Sadie are like, sooo happy to be back!”

“Totally!” echoed Sadie.

“Ladies,” called Justin “how about joining me over here huh?” Katie and Sadie squealed with joy as they ran, knocking Chris over in the process.

“You’ve gotta be frontin’ me.” said Leshawna as she stepped onto the dock, “I can’t believe I have to go through another season of their squealin’.”

“Leshawna” said Chris as he stood back up. “Nice to see. . .”

“Don’t care.” said Leshawna as she walked over toward the rest of the campers “Hey y’all how you doin’?” She didn’t get a reply, however, due to the fact that Sadie and Katie were busy staring at Justin, and Justin was busy staring at himself.

“And here comes camper number five!” Chris announced as Courtney stepped off the boat.

“Hi Chris.” said Courtney as she scanned the campers that had already arrived. “It’s great to be back.” Her face fell, when she didn’t find who she was looking for.

“Looking for someone princess?” Courtney jumped and turned around to see Duncan smirking at her.

“No-o, I mean yes, I mean umm. . . ” was a very flustered Courtney’s intelligent reply.

“And that person,” said Duncan, leaning in closer, “wouldn’t happen to be me would it?” Courtney’s eyes were locked on his as she mumbled something incoherent under her breath.

“I didn’t hear a ‘no’” Courtney jumped again and quickly took a step back.

“Of course not ogre. I’m looking for. . .” Courtney faltered, “Bridgette. Yeah, I was hoping Bridgette was already here.” Courtney quickly walked over to the other campers, while Duncan’s smirk grew wider.

“Did somebody say my name?” asked Bridgette as she stepped off the boat with her surfboard in hand.

“Bridgette. Welcome ba-“ Chris was knocked over by Bridgette’s surfboard as she turned to look at him.

“Oops. Sorry Chris.” said Bridgette, not sounding very sorry at all.

“Hey girlfriend. How you doin’?” asked Leshawna. Bridgette helped Chris up, and stood between Leshawna and Courtney.

“I’m great thanks.” said Bridgette.

“Are you and Geoff still together?” asked Courtney as she pointedly ignored Duncan’s glances at her.

“Of course” giggled Bridgette, “ I haven’t seen him that much though. We live three hours away from each other.”

“I understand completely.” Everyone turned to see Gwen stepping off the boat.

“Gwen.” said Chris, “nice to se-“

“Save it.” said Gwen as she stalked past him.

“Yeesh.” complained Chris. “Is anyone happy to see me?”

“Are you serious?” Noah said cynically as he stepped off the next boat. “We only had to risk our lives and dignity so you could get good ratings. Why shouldn’t we be happy to see you?”

“I’m glad you feel that way Noah.” said Chris, “Oh, by the way, might want to tone down the sarcasm. I mean, it only got your butt kicked off last season. Nothing big.” Rolling his eyes, Noah joined the other campers and took out his book.

“Next up,” said Chris “ here comes Tyler!” Jumping off the boat, Tyler grinned.

“Yeah! I’m back and ready to w-“ with a startled cry, Tyler tripped over Ezekiel and fell into the water.

“Oops.” said Chris uncaringly. “Probably should’ve had Ezekiel move. Oh well.”

“Hi Chip!” said none other than the beautiful Lindsey. “Where’s Taylor?”

“First of all it’s Chris.” said Chris “and you’re boyfriend’s name is Tyler.”

“Oh my gosh! You know where Tiger is?”

“Of course not dingbat.” Eva stepped onto the dock with a menacing scowl. Hearing her voice, Ezekiel curled tighter into his ball, and began to whimper again.

“Oh hi Eve! Do you know where Trevor is?” Lindsey stepped back in alarm as Eva growled at her.

“I see you haven’ t changed a bit.” remarked Chris.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” growled Eva as she lifted Chris up by his collar.

“N-nothing!” gasped Chris.

“Good answer.” growled Eva as she dropped Chris to the ground.

“Chris MacLean!” Chris once again was picked up, this time by Owen.

“Can’t. . . breathe. . .Owen.” As Chris was dropped to the ground once again, Gwen couldn’t stop a grin from spreading on her face.

“I’m enjoying this.” she said to the nearest person, which happened to be Duncan, “Paybacks a b-” she was interrupted by loud, exuberant cries coming from above. Everyone looked up to see Izzy descending by parachute to the dock. She landed on the edge, knocking Tyler back into the water.

“Yeah! That was fun! Did you see that? It was just like the time I was on the run from the RCMP. They were all like, ‘Izzy, you’re under arrest’ and I was all like, ‘no way’ and then I grabbed a parachute and jumped off the mountain. It was great.” laughing wildly, she took off her parachute and threw it behind her.

“Izzy!” Owen ran forward and scooped Izzy off the ground. “Owen missed Izzy. Did Izzy miss Owen?”

“Izzy missed Owen.” confirmed Izzy, and they immediately began to kiss.

“ewwwww.” complained Courtney “that is so gross.”

“What is?” everyone turned to see Trent stepping off the boat.

“Trent!” Gwen’s eyes lit up as she walked over to him. Trent smiled back, and gave her a long kiss. They were interrupted by a noise from behind them. Tyler had climbed back onto the dock, only to be knocked flat on his face by the incoming boat.

“Ouch.” commented Chris ‘I bet that hurt. Anyway here comes the Codmeister himself.”

“Yo Chris what’s up? I see the ladies have arrived. niiiiiice.” smiling widely he attempted to get off the boat, but was stopped by the fact that he had caught his shoelace on a board.

“ummm.” he blushed “ a little help please?” Trent let go of Gwen and helped Cody off the boat.

“Thanks man.” said Cody “ I owe you one.” Cody strutted down the dock while Gwen tried not to giggle. It was harder not to when he stumbled on his shoelace, but she managed.

“Hi everyone!” Beth jumped off the boat “It’s stho great to be back!”

“Bertha!” squealed Lindsey as she gave Beth a hug. “It’s sooooo good to see you!”

“You too Lindsthey!” said Beth as she hugged her back “Where’s the backstabbing lying little-?”

“You wouldn’t be referring to me would you Beth?” interrupted Heather as she stepped off the boat of losers. She stopped near the edge and surveyed the line of campers.

“Hmm.” she sniffed “I see you’re all as pathetic as ever.” this comment was met with glares from almost everyone and a couple of obscene hand gestures from Gwen.

“Whoa.” came a voice from behind that eased the tension in the air. “Major hate vibes around here.”

“Geoff!” Bridgette’s eyes lit up as she ran. Geoff caught her and gave her a passionate kiss that made her swoon.

Looking up at all the campers, Geoff grinned. “Woohoo! Yeah!” he cheered “Great to see you all again!” Gwen and Duncan smiled and waved in return.

“And here comes Harold!” Chris announced as the nerd stepped off his boat. His appearance was met by snarls and growls from Duncan and Courtney. Harold didn’t notice them. He had eyes only for Leshawna.

“Leshawna” said Harold “my angel!” he began to walk over to her, when he was tripped by Duncan.

“Idiot.” he muttered, “what was that for?” Leshawna helped Harold up, then walked back to her spot by Gwen.

“Alright campers!” announced Chris “Only one more of you to go! And here he comes now!” DJ, with Bunny in tow stepped off the boat.

“Hi Chris.” DJ walked over to the campers where he exchanged fist bumps with Geoff and Duncan.

“Campers!” Chris said “ I would now like to officially welcome you all back to Camp Wawanaka. For this season there will be no specific teams. However, for sleeping arrangements you’ll all be in the same cabin you were in last time. Chef will be your cook, and your first challenge will be today” this announcement was met by moans and complaints.

“Also,” said Chris, continuing as though they hadn’t interrupted “ there are some new rules. First of all, for every challenge that includes teams there will be a team captain. No one will be team captain twice, and the captains will be decided by the Random Player Generator. Besides being in charge, there are some seriously good benefits to being team captain. The next elimination ceremony that he or she is in, he or she has two options. One, they get invincibility or two, their vote can count twice. So I wouldn’t get your team captain mad at you!” Chris laughed “ But your most important new rule is this: never, never, EVER go into that shack.” Everyone looked at the shack Chris was pointing to. It was old, falling apart, and they had never seen it before.

“That sounds like a challenge to me.” whispered Duncan to Geoff.

“I wouldn’t think about it Duncan.” said Chris who had either heard what Duncan had said, or had guessed what he was thinking. “Trust me on this one. You might want to actually follow this rule.”

Duncan rolled his eyes while Courtney glared at him.

“Alright Campers. You have 20 minutes until I want you all at the campfire. Feel free to go into the confession cam.”

Confession Cam

Duncan: I really wanna break into that shack now.

Courtney: If Duncan dares to try to break into that shack I will kill him.

Heather: I really need to consider whom I can trick into an alliance. I mean, there’s not many options are there?

Gwen: /scowls/ Yippee. I’m back in the same gross camp with the same gross food and the same gross people. Why did I agree to this?

Bridgette/Geoff: /making out/

Heather: I mean, Harold is a nerd, Katie and Sadie might work except for the fact that they’re complete idiots, Justin’s pretty but he’s not good for much else, Courtney. . . hmmm.
