A/N: My AP Environmental Science class had a fieldtrip, and I was happy that it was actually fun. Though the main part of the day was when we had lunch at J University in Florida! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but there was this HOTT Asian guy there! I am sorry but I have a thing for Asian guys! XD Anyway I hope that everyone enjoyed the first chapter, and I now present you the second. Also I am working on a Harry Potter/Twilight Xover! Yep I hopped on the bandwagon! I just really like pairing Harry with that sparkly vampire. :3 I now have Volumes 1-3 of dot hack//G.U.+! I actually like this series, though it is very, very different from the game, which I have the completed the whole trilogy of. Endurance/Haseo is my favorite pairing. Well here is the new chapter! Questions I have picked shall be answered at the end of this chapter.

Summary: Awakened from her slumber, Kagome comes to see how the world had changed while she slept. Joining Cross Academy and reuniting with a lover from the past, she will ultimately be a deciding factor in the struggle of power that will occur between Kuran Kaname and the Council. How will the presence of one of the creators of the Vampire race affect the outcome of the Vampire Knight series?

XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX Second Symphony XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX

Silenced reigned throughout the clearing as everyone took in the creature before them. The Night Class, Chairman, and the two guardians in particular were amazed. They could feel the power rolling off this female in waves. Many of the vampires suddenly wanted to bow down and grovel at her feet. Yuuki noticed that many of the vampires were trying hard to not go down on their knees.

The female vampire saw this and was amused, but she seemed to only have eyes for Kaname. Everyone could feel something was going on between the President of the Night Class, and this new student. They didn’t know what, but the two of them obviously knew each other. Takuma who was by her side cleared her throat gaining her attention. The green-eyed vampire looked over at Kaname, and was surprised by the expression on his face.

Did they know each other somehow?

‘This has to be a dream…they couldn’t have actually awakened her for what I think they did it for!?’

But the pureblood couldn’t deny the facts. Kagome was standing right in front of him, still as beautiful as she was all those centuries ago. Knowing blue eyes were trained on him, and when she said his “name” that she knew exactly who he was. He watched as her eyes warmed, and gave him a soft smile. Of course he didn’t expect anything less of her, but a question was eating at him.

How did she know that soul inhabiting this body was his?

The moment between them was shattered when Takuma cleared his throat. Instantly Kagome turned to look at the blonde vampire, and gave him her undivided attention. For some reason, Kaname had to restrain his urge to lop his best friend’s head from his shoulder. “Kagome-sama, my grandfather recommended that you meet the Headmaster first.” Glancing back at Kaname, whom was discreetly glaring holes in her escort’s head, she decided that she would relent for now.

“Fine, lead the way Ichijou-kun.”

Nodding with a smile, he turned towards their destination. The Headmaster was staring at Kagome with wide eyes, as well as the two guardians next to him. Takuma knew that there was just something about the woman on his arm, which captured everyone’s attention. He too had to stop himself from bowing before her, when he had first laid his eyes on her. Even now he was fighting the desire to drop to his knees, and beg for her attention like a child.

“Hello Headmaster, this is Higurashi Kagome.”

A sophisticated smile appeared on Kagome’s face, and Takuma watched as blushes appeared on everyone’s face. He was amused but what really caught his attention was Zero. The silver-haired boy was looking at female at his side as if he had found something or someone he had been looking for forever. Curtsying, the female vampire held her hand out to Kaien Cross. “It is very nice to meet you Cross-san.”

Smiling widely, he bowed before standing straight and grasping her hand. “It is a pleasure to meet you Higurashi-chan!” Placing a kiss on her hand, he then gestured towards his two adoptive children. “These two next to me are my children and prefects for the school.” Stepping over to stand in front of them, Kagome clasped her hands in front of her chest.

Utter joy was in her eyes when they landed on Yuuki. “So you must be Yuuki-chan then?” Nodding nervously, the brown-haired girl smiled while fiddling with a piece of her skirt. “I hope that you have a wonderful time here at Cross Academy.” Smiling widely, Kagome nodded to her statement.

“I’m sure I will.”

Turning to the final one, the ancient wasn’t surprised at the expression on his face. She could sense his aura from when she entered the courtyard. Her blue eyes locked on his frame, and she saw that he trembled a little. It was unnoticeable since he was fighting it, but his eyes said what he would not. Like all vampires, he too could tell that she was not normal.

Zero didn’t know why, but as soon as he saw the young woman come out of the limo he wanted to cry. He didn’t feel angry like he usually felt when he saw vampires, he felt happiness and completion. As if I was seeing a dearly loved one after centuries of looking for them, and not finding a trace of them. He had never felt this way before, and when he saw her looking directly at Kaname. Jealousy spiked through him.

He almost did something stupid to catch her attention, and keep it on him and only him. He didn’t feel lustful, but he really wanted her attention like a child wants their mothers. Running a hand through his hair in frustration, he was irritated at the fact he couldn’t keep his eyes off her. When she stopped in front of Yuuki, and looked at her with adoration. He was extremely relieved for some reason.

Then she came to a stop in front of him, and he was hit full force with her scent. He drew in a shaky breath, and resisted the urge to cry with joy as she looked at him so gently. The wannabe Vampire hunter wanted so badly to drop to his knees and tell her everything. His every fear, every want, every regret, he wanted to tell her everything! Violet eyes connected with blue, and he watched as she smiled.

“Hello Zero-kun.”

Nodding stiffly, he stepped back a little to prevent himself from losing control. While most of the Night Class growled slightly at this. They didn’t know why they cared, but they felt that the silver-haired guardian was insulting the young female vampire some how. Kaname in particular narrowed his eyes on the young man’s frame. If the pureblood didn’t need him to act as Yuuki’s shield, then he would have gotten rid of him at that moment.

Twirling in the direction of the Day Class students, she spread her arms wide and smiled. “I am happy to become a student at this school, and I hope that I get to talk to you all!” Many of the Day Class students began talking excitedly, and exclaimed a welcome to here as well. Many comments about her beauty and comments were floating about in the crowd of humans. The “Mother” of the Vampires, wondered if she would be able to drink any of their blood sometime.

Looking back at the Headmaster, Kagome then gave a small smile. “I am sure that there are some things that we have to get situated in your office, right Headmaster Cross?” Shaking out of his thoughts, he nodded and smiled. “You are right Kagome-chan! Let us proceed then!” With that being said, Takuma offered his arm once again to Kagome and led her behind the light brown-haired man.

As the Day Class was directed to their dorms, the Night Class went back to theirs as well. Many of the vampires were in fact talking eagerly about the new “girl”. Kaname, who was at the front of the “pack”, was staring off into space. Aido who was next to him cleared his throat. “Uh…Kaname-sama?”

Without stopping in his graceful stride, Kaname looked at the slightly shorter blonde. “Yes Aido?” The vampire mentioned then gulped as he saw the tensed shoulders of the pureblood. “Well, do you know this new student…Kagome?” Crimson flashed through Kaname’s eyes at the familiar way he said her name.

“You will address her as Kagome-sama or Higurashi-san…Higurashi-chan if she will allow it.”

Flinching, the blonde nodded. Kain who was a little behind his cousin sighed, he wondered what exactly his cousin said that might have pissed off their leader. Also he wondered if he would somehow be blamed for his cousin’s mouth. “Not that it would be different from any other time.” Glancing over to his side, he saw that Ruka was still fuming.

The female vampire had watched helplessly as Kaname and that new vampire stared at each other. Higurashi Kagome was her name. Though there was something about her, that Kain noticed even effected Kaname. He liked a few others could tell that this girl was more powerful than Kaname, and he wondered how this would affect the pureblood’s position. Looking over at Ruka, he could tell that she wasn’t going to get along with this new student at all.

Sitting inside a plush chair, Kagome looked amusedly at the three humans in front of her. Or was it the two “humans”, and a newly changing vampire? Crossing her legs elegantly, she saw that the violet-eyed boy was watching her intently. Oh, she knew that her scent was enticing to him. Especially if he was at the level she thought he was. Though she wondered what would happen, if she had a cut.

Would he try to drink her blood forcefully? That would be an interesting occurrence.

“Well Kagome-chan, welcome to Cross Academy…we are very happy to have you here.” Nodding to the statement, she glanced over at the brown-haired girl and raised an eyebrow mentally. There was this certain scent around her, which made her want to coddle the girl. She couldn’t figure out exactly why, but she would eventually. Looking at Takuma, she saw that he was standing directly by her chair, watching the silver-haired boy intently.

Ah, maybe he felt the boy’s restlessness then? She inwardly smirked. It seems that there are still some competent vampires in this day and age? Kagome had to admit, that after she was told of the problems going on she almost had it in mind to destroy them all and start over. Yeah, that was a cruel thought, but these whiny aristocrats were not her idea of what her children had developed into.

“Ichijou-san thought that it would be a good idea to attend this school, and from what I had seen so far…I really like the atmosphere.”

Putting her gaze directly on the three of them, she crossed her arms under her chest. “Since I am not in the mood to keep secrets and since I was told about the “secret” of this school…I will inform you of who I really am.” Kaien’s eyes widened, and he laid back in his chair, Yuuki’s eyes were also wide. “Who you really are?”

Snapping her eyes to Yuuki, she watched as the girl actually jumped. Nodding, a coy smiled appeared on her face. “Yes, who I really am.” Standing up from her chair, she twirled around in a circle towards the window. The pale moonlight hit her and illuminated her frame.

“I know that you are aware of the classes of vampires, am I correct?”

The nods from everyone, gave Kagome the permission to continue. “Well I would like to tell you of one more class, a class that I am the only one that occupies it as of now.” A hiss came from Zero, and he looked at her in disbelief. “There is another class of vampires?” Grinning, the dark-haired vampire put her hands above her head and spun around once again.

“Yes, this class of vampires is never talked about because there were only three of them…unfortunately to of them were killed while one just went to sleep because of her sorrow at the lose of the other two.”

Stopping directly in the middle of the light, Kagome gave them all a piercing stare. An impassive expression appeared on her beautiful features, and she released her power in the room. All of the occupants of the room could feel the pressure, and looked at her in surprise and anticipation. “This class was and is still known as the S-class, the creators of the purebloods…I am the only S-class vampire left in this world.” Suddenly she appeared in her chair once again startling all of them.

“So I am in fact the “mother” of the whole vampire race, the reason they exist is because of me.”

A fist slammed into the Headmaster’s desk, and then fist clenched into the fabric of Kagome’s dress. She didn’t even twitch or flinch as she felt herself being lifted off the ground. “THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT THERE IS AN S-CLASS!!” Narrowing her eyes on the boy, she brought up her hand, and flicked Zero on his forehead softly. As soon as her finger came in contact with his forehead, he went flying back into the wall with force making a dent.

“ZERO!!”

Kagome watched through narrowed eyes as Yuuki rushed over to the shocked boy. His eyes were stuck on her form as he tried to form words. “Impudent brat! No matter how strong you think you are, you would never be a match for me!” With a flick of her wrist, a crack went through the floor and ended right where he sat against the wall.

Still hovering in the air, she allowed Takuma to lightly place her back on the ground. Crossing her arms under her chest, she scowled. “You will show respect or I shall beat it into you, I have been alive too long for me to be disrespected when someone finds out my status.” Obviously not everyone has been educated in the history of vampires, and she wondered why this wasn’t taught to them as young children. Even if this “boy” was the child of a hunter, he should have been taught of the history of his enemies.

‘Or at least I think so anyway.’

Bowing towards the Headmaster, she smiled widely. “Sorry for the damage to your office Headmaster Cross, I shall have some people come by and fix it quickly for you.” Turning her head towards Takuma, she grinned widely. “I am sure that my uniform is already in my room, am I correct?” The blonde nodded, and then offered his arm.

Accepting the cards, Kagome waved cheerfully at Yuuki before walking out the door.

Kaien looked at Zero, and sighed. “Well you know…you really brought that on yourself.”

Of course, Yuuki wasn’t surprised when the silver-haired prefect began chocking the headmaster.

All the Night Class students jumped when the front doors to the Moon dorms slammed open. There in the moonlight stood the new girl, who was grinning widely. “So this shall be my new home for the moment?” Standing up, Ruka glared at the young woman. “Who do you think you are!?”

The smirk that slithered onto Kagome’s face, and she stood her ground. She watched with a laughing expression. Bringing a hand up, she daintily placed her fingers against her chest.

Replacing her smirk with a friendly smile, she looked around at everyone. The girl that seemed to be pissed with her for some reason, just continued to glare.

“Why my name is Higurashi Kagome, I am a classmate of yours starting from today.”

Then a hard glint appeared in her eyes, and she placed her hands on her hips.

“Now that I have gotten that out of the way there is something that I am going to make clear.”

Suddenly all the vampires suddenly fell to the floor, and stared at her shock. A scowl was on her lovely face.

“There will be some new rules around her.”

End of Symphony 2

Ha! There is the second chapter! I have been trying to get this done all this afternoon. I am just happy that I am updating something. Now, I am obsessed with a story by Brawen77 called Nothing Left To Hold! Death to Bella in that story! Damn chit! The Cullens are Harry’s family! Not Yours! Anyway I will see you guys at the next update!

DN: Alright the first question- If Kagome created the Vampires, how would she know Kaname precisely. It seems to be assumed that Kagome has been trapped for a long period of time, so is this different from the regular VK? Are you making this AU?

(clears throat)

DN: That is actually an excellent question, yes you are correct on the concept of Kagome being trapped for a long time. She doesnt really "know" Kaname, as if you have kept up with recent chapters of VK you would know that Kaname isn't really "Kaname" at all. Kagome only recognizes the soul presiding in Kaname's body. This isnt AU, and I didnt realy plan on it either. Thanks though for asking me this though. It shows that you actually pay attention. (smirks)

(Glances at next question)

DN: How old is Kaname really, for him to have known her? How long was Kagome alseep? Why did they wake her? How did she "create" the Vampire race?

(pushes up glasses)

DN: Well the body of Kaname would be approximately be 19, but the soul is very old. The soul in his previous life knows Kagome. Kagome has been asleep for a LONG time, and I am not even sure of the exact length. Only that she left the Kurans in control. Why they woke her shall be discussed soon. And how she created the Vampire race...if you want a birds and the bees talk, I suggest talking to your parents. LOL.

(placing down the paper)
