She knew her purpose, to be the Ultimate AI, she knew she was in danger, she knew her own mother had set her son upon her, but their was one thing she did not know.

There was a feeling inside of her, a feeling she could only describe as horrific. She knew that it would delete her is she was caught, she knew the consequences of such an action. Although she may not have known it, Aura was feeling something new…..fear.

As she rounded a corner, she could tell he had entered an area nearby. The one she had chosen to save The World had arrived, and he was not alone. She darted through data streams towards Δ Burning Passed-Over Aqua Field. For he would be there and she had something to give him.

“This is the area Kite,” a tall blue man with a sword said to a smaller man in green. This man had dark hair and blue face paint that matched the shade on his body. He wore boots, a protective shoulder armor, and what appeared to be an armored kilt.

“Where are the monsters,” the smaller man asked. (In fact he was not a man, he was a young *th grader) He had emerald eyes and light blue hair. He had a green hat on his head that was the same hue as his clothes. He had brown shoes and loose green pants. He had a belt with a loop on each side. He also wore a green vest over a long sleeved white shirt and leather gloves.

“Well Kite, the monsters appear out of portals like that one over there,” the large blue man answered as he pointed towards a large rotating symbol.

“Oh, okay Yasuhiko,” Kite answered.

“Don’t call me that here Kite.” The larger man responded, “in this world I go by Orca.”

Kite nodded before he started to run towards the nearest shining portal.

“Hey, Kite hold up,” Orca called at Kite. When he didn’t stop, Orca chuckled, “as reckless as ever.”

As Kite approached the portal, a goblin materialized. Kite looked at this goblin without fear, having heard from Orca that were pushovers. He prepared to attack, when he realized that he had forgotten to learn tha attack command. Kite began to frantically tap buttons, trying to find the correct one, causing his character to spin and use random emots. Orca arrived in time to see this display and his booming laughter brought him to the ground. “Kite, u..u..use th..the ..x..butt..ton,” Orca said fighting through tears of laughter.

The now embarrassed Kite dispatched the goblin quickly after finsing the elusive x button. “Hey Orca,” kite called to his friend, “how do I heal myself!”

Orca, (now calmed down a bit) now realized that kite had lost almost half of his health during his display of incompetence. With the image back in his head, Orca found himself consumed by a new wave of laughter.

Kite sighed and took off his M2D to look at the manuel. Hee knew Yasuhiko, and when he thought something was funny, getting him to stop was a heavy challenge. He flipped the pages of the player manuel to the recovery skills section and found that the repth skill was default on his character and that it should heal him fully. He put the M2D back on and used repth as the manuel said and was satisfied when his health was again full.

“So, you actually picked up the manual eh, Kite,” Orca said as he recovered from his most recent laughing fit. “Come on, now that you know the controls, lets clear out this area.” Orca said. His eyes glowed with bloodlust at the prospect.

Kite nodded and followed Yasuhiko to the next portal. Orca stayed back reluctantly, allowing Kite to get a feel for the controls. If he actually fought he would instantly kill enemies of this level. Kite did not know this and curiously asked Orca why he wasn’t doing anything.

“I’d kill them easily Kite,” Orca said to him. “ I’m level fifty while they’re level 1.”

“You could still help me out here, I’d still get the experience,” kite said while dodging a goblins blade.

“Yeah, but then you’d never learn how to fight properly would you,” Orca said.

“Well, I guess not,” Kite said as he dispatched his seventh goblin of the day. “That looks like the last of the portals Orca,” Kite said turning to the blademaster. “Should we head towards the dungeon now?”

“Not yet, Kite.” Orca said as he stood up and brushed himself off. “There’s still one thing I wish to show you on the field.”

Kite nodded and began to follow Orca. “So what are we going to do Orca,” he said.

“Do you see the the blue marker on your map Kite,” orca said as he continued.

“Yeah what about it,” Kite said, curious.

“That marks the location of a monsieur,” Orca said with a tone of amusement.

“A Monsieur,” Kite asked questionably. “What are they French?”

“No its an NPC in a mysterious spring.” Orca said “if you drop an item into its apring, it will give you an option of a silver axe, golden axe, or the item you dropped. Pick your item and you get it back at a higher level.”

“Awesome,” Kite said with a grin on his face.

“There it is,” Orca said pointing to the infamous glowing blue pond. “Go try it out,” Orca said trying not to chuckle.

Kite ran towards the pond and tossed his blades in. A large blue tear drop appeared and and almost made him fall.

“Did you lose a Golden axe, or was it a silver axe?,” the monsieur asked Kite.

“Neither, I lost my Amatuer Blades,” Kite answered, excited.

“hmmm, lets see then is it this!,” Monsiuer said as he gave Kite two twigs.

“Hey, wait no where are my blades!,’ Kite yelled at the giant tear.

“Till next time, Goodbye,” the monsieur said as he zoomed away in to the night sky.

“come back here with my weapons!,”Kite again yelled at the drop. Orca’s laughter could be heard in the background.

“You fell for it Kite, that particular one downgrades your weapons!” he said after bursting into a new wave of laughter.

Kite was pissed as he ran towards Orca with twigs drawn. “What the hell Orca, now I don’t have any weapons!”

Orca had recovered from his recent fit of laughing and looked at Kite with a smile. “Don’t worry man the treasure chest in this dungeon has a weapon that was better than your amateur blades anyways.” He opened the trade window and gave Kite twenty fire tempest scrolls. “besides now you can practice using magic.”

Kite grumbled about his weapons but took the scrolls, he was interested in using magic for the first time.

“Well come on Kite,” we’re off to the dungeon,” Orca called out to the twinblade. Kite scampered after him. While he was catching up to him, he realized something, Orca was right this game is pretty fun.
