A/N: Hello! Here is another one of my poems. This is mostly set in Mint's P.O.V. To me it is a bit of a tear-jerker. ^_^ So anyway, feedback is much appretiated and please enjoy reading.
The Ring
As I lay here alone in bed
The thoughts of you flash through my head
Your gentle voice, so pure and serene
Singing sweetly to me as I dream
But you are dead and gone, I know that well
Spirited away by death's red spell.
You were my angel, my adventuring partner and only love
To our friends you were a loving godsend being sent from above.
I wake up in cold sweat, and screamed in the dark
'Come back, damnit!' I cried, clutching your wedding ring to my heart
A/N: That's it for now. To those who are wondering what happened to my main fic; I have decided to take 'TOF2' down then put it back up as a revamped version but under a different title. It'll take a bit of time for me to fill a few cracks, thanks to writer's block (damnit), and for some errors I will be fixing. In the meantime, I will be posting a some lovely poems on the site until I can fix all the flaws. So everyone keep watch for my charmed poetry =^_^=!
