Tugging on her hair while she was talking probably wasn’t the best idea. I should have noticed when she threw a Snackoo at me. Taking the bag of Snackoos away from her and holding them above her head was probably a bad idea as well. I should have noticed when she called me a glimmerous fop. I never noticed what was developing somewhere inside me. I’ve sung about it for years, but never entirely felt it. Now that I do, I feel that I can confidently say that love is a powerful force that can cause even the best of us to do some crazy things. Crazy things like falling in love with a girl who quite possibly loved her favorite snack food more than she’d ever love you. Crazy things like accepting that. Yes, I think I had gone insane. Completely, totally, utterly insane. But somehow, knowing it was for her. I was fine with it.
