Sonic and Amy had been walking though the jungle for an hour now, this was the first time they had really left their hometown “Wow the jungle is so big I wonder were it leads?” Amy asked looking around Sonic just smiled.

“Well we will fine out soon wont we” Sonic said as they came to a stop and sat down for a rest, when something court Sonic’s eyes “A Pidgey” Sonic said pulling out the pokeball that had Charmander inside.

“Good luck Sonic” Amy said and Sonic walked quietly over to the bird pokemon.

“Go Charmander” Sonic said throwing the pokeball and a small orange lizard came out, standing on two feet and a flame on the end of its tail, the Pidgey looked over at the two, it didn’t fly away but got ready to fight.

Pidgey flew high and dived down at Charmander and began to peck him “Charmander use scratch” Sonic said and Charmander scratched Pidgey in the small chest, making Pidgey hit the ground hard and before it could do anything Sonic pulled out on of the pokeballs.

“Go” he said throwing the pokeball, it hit Pidgey and was sucked into the pokeball, the red light on the button of the ball began to glow when it died down, Sonic ran over to the pokeball and picked it up “Yes I court a Pidgey” Sonic cheered looking at the pokeball and Amy smiled at him.

“Great job Sonic” Amy said standing up and walked over to him, when a Squirtle popped out of the bush and looked at them.

“Squirtle?” Squirtle asked looking at them and Amy smiled.

“Ok this one is mine go…” But Amy was cut off by a orange bunny with purple eyes running out of the bush and pick up the Squirtle, he was wearing a short-sleeved shirt with board shorts and a blue hat that pushed down his ears.

“I found you Squirtle don’t you run away from me next time ok” he said and Squirtle nodded and smiled at him, the boy looked over and saw Sonic and Amy looking at them “Hi” he said walking other to them.

“Hi there little one who are you?” Amy asked

“Oh my name is Craig and you two are?” Craig asked

“Oh I’m Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog and this is my best friend Amy Rose” Sonic replied and Craig smiled when a Brown echidna with blue eyes and black braids she was wearing black jeans, a white striped shirt with a bow on it, gold studs with a few bracelets and white air shoes.

“Craig how many times have I told you not to leave my side?” she said and Craig looked down.

“Sorry Karen” Craig said retuning his Squirtle.

“It’s ok just don’t leave me with out telling me first ok” Karen said and Craig nodded, Karen looked at Sonic and Amy “So who are you two?” Karen asked.

“Sonic the Hedgehog” Sonic said

“And I’m Amy Rose” Amy smiled and Karen nodded and sees their pokeballs.

“Are you guys trainers?” Karen asked and they both nodded “Let me guess you have just started your journey?” Karen asked again and both Sonic and Amy nodded again.

“Yep and we are heading though the forest to the first town” Amy said and Karen nodded.

“Well then since your trainers, how about a pokemon battle?” Karen asked and Sonic nodded then looked at the ground “What?”

“Well…I’ve only got two pokemon, and one is still hurt since I just court it” Sonic explain and Karen nodded.

“Fine then we’ll have a one on one battle” Karen said and Sonic nodded.

“Ok then you’re on” Sonic said and they both walked into an opening “Ok then Go Charmander” Sonic said throwing the pokeball and Charmander came out.

“Fine go Aipom” Karen said throwing the pokeball and a purple monkey with a tail the looked like a extra hand came out on to the field.

“WOW a Aipom” Amy said bring out her pokedex to get the info.

“Ok you can start Sonic” Karen said and Sonic nodded.

“Ok Charmander Ember” Sonic said and Charmander use ember on Aipom.

“Aipom jump and use Dizzy Punch” Karen said and Aipom jumped up into the air dogging Charmander’s ember and then dropped down at Charmander with a glowing orb on its his hand and hit Charmander dead on with Dizzy Punch, Charmander went flying back.

“Charmander are you ok,” Sonic asked but Charmander was knocked out, Karen retuned her Aipom and walked over to Sonic.

“Sonic has your Charmander ever battled before?” Karen asked as Sonic retuned his Charmander.

“No this is my first official pokemon battle with him” Sonic replied.

“Ok then did you train him?” Karen asked and Sonic looked down at Charmander’s pokeball.

“Only once and that was when I court Pidgey” Sonic replied and Karen shook her head.

“Sonic to become a great trainer you must train up your pokemon” Karen said and Sonic looked at her “Because if you don’t you wont stand a chance against the Elite Four, hell not even against the first gym leader if you don’t train them up” Karen continued and Sonic nodded.

Sonic stood up holding the pokeball “Well come on we’ll lead you though the woods since there is only a little part left of this forest to go” Craig said Sonic and Amy nodded and followed the two though the forest, by time they got out of the forest and to the town the sun was starting to set over the horizon.

“Here’s the pokemon center you two” Karen said as they walked into a large building with a giant “P” on the front, they walked up to the counter and were meted by a red cat in a white nurse uniform with a Chansey beside her.

“Hi there how can I help?” she asked and Karen walked forward.

“Are pokemon need healing Nurse Joy” Karen replied and Nurse Joy nodded as Karen and Craig put their pokeballs on the table, Sonic saw Karen put three pokeballs while Craig only put one “Hey don’t your pokemon need healing?” Karen asked, Sonic and Amy nodded.

Sonic put two pokeballs onto the table while Amy put only one, Nurse Joy took all seven pokeballs “Ok they will be held by morning…do you lot have a place to stay?” she asked and they shook their heads and Nurse Joy brought out three keys “Well you can stay here for the night then” she said Amy took a key, Karen and Craig shared a key and Sonic took the last one, once they got their keys they walked away from the Nurse Joy and Amy, Karen and Craig walked up stairs while Sonic walked over to the little food area and got something to eat and sat down.

Once Sonic had eat his food he headed up the stairs to get some sleep, once he got to the floor he was on, Sonic walked down the hallway and found his room and went to sleep for the night, but he still tough what Karen had told him “Sonic to become a great trainer you must train up your pokemon, because if you don’t you wont stand a chance against the Elite Four, hell not even against the first gym leader if you don’t train them up”.
