She looks like Rangiku, and there’s a part of Gin that actually cares. It hangs over his head and hits him in the face when he turns around too fast, surprising him every time. It’s fascinating, he thinks, picking up this feeling by the ear and dangling it in front of him, examining it from every angle. Rangiku is the only person who ever interested him enough to care – even Aizen is merely amusing and slightly terrifying. He doesn’t care about this naive girl-child, but she is intriguing, along with this almost-feeling.

She slaps him around the face when he makes a comment about her would be rescuer, and intrigue turns to interest.
