Reasons Why a CSI Should Not Get Drunk

Reason Number 1 – You act like you’re 5.

The Las Vegas Criminalists had just come off the clock after pulling a near-quadruple. Ecklie had sent the CSIs home the CSIs had all gathered at Catherine’s house for a well-earned break. They had been there for about an hour when the liquor cupboard had been cracked open, and another hour had passed since then. They were all tipsy – not drunk... but looser than they would like to be.

She didn’t know what spurred her o ask it, but suddenly, Catherine had an urge to play a game.

“Guuuuuyyyssssss” she hollered, met with blank looks. “Can we play a game?”

“How much has she had to drink?” asked a still sober Grissom – having had considerably less to drink than the rest of them. “She sounds like she’s 5!”

“Spin the bottle?” Catherine asked, and again her suggestion was met with blank looks.

“No” said Grissom

“Seven minutes in Heaven?”

“NO!” Grissom repeated, a little too firmly, glancing in Sara’s direction. He still wanted their first kiss to be special... not part of a game, even if at this rate, it never was going to happen.

“Truth or dare?” Warrick inputted.

“Dares? I don’t think so” Grissom objected

“Griss... just choose Truth if you don’t want to do the dare” Greg said

“But don’t forget there’s a forfeit if your answer or your dare isn’t good enough” Sara was making rues up on the spot now, but still everyone went along with her – for fear of the wrath of the Sidle.

“So... Truth or Dare? Please Gil?” Catherine pleaded

After a moment’s deliberation Grissom finally answered. “Well I don’t have much of a choice really, do I?”

“No. Let’s start!”
