Golden Slumbers

Usually Leo was hard at work by the time Max arrived at the office, but today he found him asleep on the sofa. Max hung up his hat and coat, and then knelt beside Leo. He tuned his ear to his steady breathing. His fingers began to trickle through his soft hair.

"Such an angel," Max said to himself, and then pressed his lips to Leo's cheek. His eyes fluttered open less than a second later. Max pulled his lips away.

"I'm sorry," he said, slightly embarrassed.

"No, It's fine."

And with that, the two were entwined in a kiss.
