End of a Fictional 1800s, the final battle in a Holy war~

The Noah plunged his hand into the hollow cavern of an Exorcist’s chest, one that he recognized from battling with cheating-boy Walker and the Bookman Junior, feeling around for more organs to rip out. He felt the papery texture of a lung and ripped it open with his fingers. It was useless, the young man already dead, but it fed his bloodlust. A sound could be heard over the clashings of the continuing war, a girl screaming a name shrilly. Tyki smirked and extracted his fist from the dead man’s chest, and looked over his shoulder towards the main scene.

It wasn’t as though the Exorcists were at naught; their Noah family had decreased to only three members left: Rhode, Sheryl, and Tyki himself. The Earl was in hiding after five of their clan had fallen and Tyki had to scoff at him. The Noah ducked behind a building to hide as well, not the one of war, but a noise reached his ears in the slight quiet from the distance of the battle: hard breathing, and Tyki looked around the corner and found the redheaded Bookman Junior catching his breath, his Innocence, the only weapon that could harm Noahs and exorcise it from them, was extended, the hammerhead about the girth of a healthy tree trunk. The Bookman’s apprentice was spotted in blood.

“Ma, ma,” Tyki chuckled lowly and saw the Bookman Junior stiffen in surprise before whirling around and hold his weapon in between them to act as some sort of barrier. Tyki appeared unconcerned, however, and leaned against the crumbling wall that got caught within the war, “What’s you’re name, again? Labi, or Ravi, or something…”

“Lavi.” He gritted, not lowering his guard, and narrowed his single green eye at him. Tyki idly wondered why Lavi wore an eye patch. “What, are you going to be ripping out my guts, too? Try it,” he dared.

The Noah sighed and shook his head, letting down all responsibility to kill Exorcists. He gave the other a slow glance, “Lower your weapon, lad. I’m waiting out this war.” He paused and listened carefully to the battle sounds. “And I’m thinking that just about now Rhode has found the Heart.” The Heart was the link of all Innocence. Destroy that and you destroyed the only thing that can harm Noahs.

And as if on cue, the hammer-shaped Innocence in Lavi’s hands glowed a mixture of neon green and purple, cracking. With a noise of breaking glass, the Innocence shattered in his grip. The redhead let out a shocked noise and looked at the crumbling pieces falling to the ground, and he was left defenseless. Edgily, he whipped his gaze back to Tyki and wondered if he would take this time to attack him now that he had no weapon.

Tyki snorted, “That’s cowardly and weak,” he said as if he knew what was on his mind. “I already told you; we Noahs already won, so I’m waiting out the rest of this war.”

Lavi’s throat was dry and he swallowed thickly with trouble and he couldn’t keep from asking, “W-what about me? What are you Noahs going to do with the Exorcists?”

“You’re not an Exorcist anymore. Luckily for you, you had two sides, right?” Tyki asked, “As a Bookman and an Exorcist. You can stay alive as a Bookman.” Lavi nodded wearily, knowing that after this point his friends would be dead and would never see them again. He bowed his head and sat down, his chest aching.

Five years later a redhead enters a cemetery, flowers in hand. His name is no longer Lavi for that was only an alias, and since he’s with no war currently he is only called Bookman. The Noah dispersed after they had been rebellious and took down the Earl, much like the Innocence.

Bookman sees a figure in front of a grave, and it turns to him, a small, soft smile on his face. The Bookman knows who it is even though he looks different from his Noah side, and he goes to him, no longer afraid of him because their war was over and so is his past.

"Como estás, coelho?" He asks and the Bookman smiles a little because he can't help it.

"This bunny is well."

After some time at looking at the memorial below them, they turn to leave, going seperate ways, but Tyki stops and quickly grabs on to Bookman's arm. Bookman doesn't look at him because the same thing is playing on his mind before he even speaks it.

"We will meet again, Lavi."

But he answers, "Yes, we will."

MC: These are short, have almost no meaning - and they were from computer class this year. As a end of the school year kind of thing, I decided to share my assignments. Each time we fantasy write, we have four words; this one's was: Guts, Blood, Cemetery, and Flowers. I'll be uploading the rest of them reguarly over the week - there's only seven or so of them.
