Epilogue

'Sakura'

'Inner Sakura'

5 years later…

She still pummeled fear into her students. They were coming back from summer break entering the twelfth grade. Many people thought she would quit her job after so many years but that’s only because she wasn’t here last year. She didn’t show up until the last month of school surprising her students with her review questions for the finals. Her pink hair no longer extended to her waist but now was cut to her upper back because of a small accident with gum. Her attire was of casual dress giving her a nice warm appearance but if you were in her class she was far from it.

Her strict rules and cold way of giving out hard assignments every day made you regret having her as a history teacher. She is the only woman young and hot enough for people to still drool over.

Her name Akasuna Sakura.

She’s married to none other than Akasuna Sasori, a young rich carpenter with a nasty attitude. Her best friends Nara-Sabaku Temari and Uzumaki Hinata never understood what she saw in the auburn male. It’s not like she cared because if they saw what she saw she might have to kill them. He’s her husband and she sure as hell isn’t sharing.

She walked from her desk installing her many rules in the class. She only memorized one kid by the name of Konohamaru. The brat irritated her by his fast talking and constant questions. It was only one week into school.

“Any questions?” she asked reluctantly.

Konohamaru’s hand rose enthusiastically. She resisted the urge to smack herself. “Yes?”

“Is it true your husband used to go to this school too?” he asked curiously.

“That’s a personal question but I’ll answer it anyway…”

After school was over Sakura was the first teacher to leave of the premises. She used to think it was her safe haven but when she married Sasori her home was more comfortable. Besides, she had a birthday party to show up to. She smiled at the though.

Getting into the house she saw it was decorated with colorful balloons and the small of pastries made her excitement grow. Setting her stuff down on the base of the stairs she saw a small mop of red hair bobbing going across the bridge. She ignored it not wanting to know what he’s getting into.

She went into the kitchen seeing her husband decorating a birthday cake. She would’ve laughed if it wasn’t for his face of concentration.

“Hey Sasori.”

'Still looks hot as shit.'

'Oh, be quiet!'

'Just stating the truth.'

He turned his blank hazel eyes towards her. They weren’t hidden of any emotion since relief passed through them. “Go get Kin. I fear that he’s going to ruin the presents we got for Chika.”

You fear?” Sakura raised an eyebrow. Inner Sakura laughed crazily in her head.

“I feared the moment I found out I became a father.” He bluntly said.

Sakura laughed. “Okay, I’ll go get him.”

She gave him a quick kiss and hopped up the stairs seeing her red headed son heading towards their bedroom. He was crawling on all fours even though he could walk.

“Kin what are you doing?” she put her hands on her hips catching him about to go in the master bedroom.

Kin pouted his emerald eyes saddening. “I want to see in the pwetty boxes!”

Sakura shook her head walking up to him and picking the two year old up. “I promise on your birthday you’ll get to open the pretty boxes okay?”

He nodded and began to suck on his thumb while she kissed his chubby cheeks. She went back downstairs and into the kitchen. Sasori rushing to arrange things in the kitchen before guests started to show up. Kin, their son had horrible asthma and it was one of the reasons she stopped teaching last years for a few months to watch over him. He was born only a few days after Sasori’s birthday and her husband spoiled him the most. He spoiled both of their children giving into their wants since his parents never did.

As soon as he graduated high school he went to Suna to enroll into a school to become a carpenter. He didn’t come back for two years and when he did, he was surprised when Sakura showed him, his daughter. He then worked hard for the small family, creating his own business making porches, dressers, or anything that he could carve. He married Sakura a year later; when Chika turned three and found out she was pregnant again.

Chika was turned five today and was with Shikamaru and Temari as they finished getting ready for the party. The other married couple had a four year old daughter, Shizuka and Chika was best friends with her ever since they met. Naruto and Hinata had a son, Hiro the same age around Kin just a few months older. They were all very close.

“Is everything ready?” Sakura asked.

“That’s rude of you to ask. I did most or all of the work.” Sasori glared dangerously at his wife.

“It’s not my fault. You said you didn’t need my help! Besides I wrapped the presents yesterday so quit complaining.”

“Oh! Pwesents!” Kin clapped his hands.

Sasori looked at his son blankly. “It’s for Chika.”

Kin pouted. “But what I get?”

Sakura laughed. “I’ sure Chika would share any toy we give her.”

Sasori looked at her. “We bought her dolls. My son isn’t going to play with that.”

Kin frowned agreeing with his dad. “Yeah! Dolls are fo’ sissies and gays!”

Sakura stared at her son and then looked at Sasori. “You taught him street language?”

“No.”

“Then what was that?”

“I taught him the difference between gay and straight.”

“He’s too young to know that!”

“Well, when he starts school he knows when something isn’t appropriate. We might as well make him fear being gay now because he sure isn’t going to be living here if he became one.”

“You’re unbelievable!”

“You told me that last night.” He smirked deviously.

Sakura pushed his son in his arms. “Great! I have to deal with a son that might grow up to be a delinquent as much as his father.”

“I’m not that bad.” He said looking down at Kin. He watched Sakura stomp out of the kitchen to go change her clothes.

“No daddy! You just cool!” Kin said proudly.

Sasori nodded, agreeing with his son.

When their red headed daughter came in she screamed in surprise. She ran towards Sasori and Sakura giving them a hug. She hugged everyone else who wished her happy birthday loving how the living room was stacked with presents. Her hazel eyes lit up happily running towards them. Usually you cut the cake while everyone sang happy birthday but while she was opening her presents all her friends and parents’ friends sang to her. Chika couldn’t ask for better parents even though they always argued. Her parents loved her as much as they loved each other.

That’s just was how it is. Even though they never admitted to each other, they were just being stubborn.
