Rose never saw Scorpius so attentive to anything in their past three years together, except for when he was in Potions or Defence Against the Dark Arts class, especially since he was paying attention to something invented by muggles. She wondered how he could be so interested in a radio cassette player (yet another muggle contraption her Granddad Weasley had somehow acquired), seeing as how his family was known to look down upon non-wizards. At least he would keep her grandfather occupied.

‘This is amazing really,’ he exclaimed, slipping a cassette into the player and pressing a button with a green arrow on top. Jazz music filled the room.

Rose raised an eyebrow and smiled slightly. ‘From America by the looks of it; really, Scorp.’

‘Hmm...well...the music is good.’ He leaned over and gave her a small peck on the forehead. ‘Sometimes I wonder if you have any music appreciation though...’

That earned him a whack on the head.
