I've been singing Miss Lucy Had Some Leeches like no one should.

This chapter is riddled with mistakes. I'm working on that. Sorry.

BTW: this is the shortest chapter so far. ;c

"Madness is a nuicanse. And no one is immune." Emilie Autumn

"I don't like this. We already have representatives from every house. I think it's falling to chaos...of course our very being is chaos if anything. I mean,Iri, really it's all because I'm the archduchess, it means the very change. Pax and Persephone aren't happy. Not at all....not at all. But it's not my fault it's that Empyrean group the Rogues have allowed to stay.” Venus finally trailed off, realizing that, for once, her words would make little sense to Iri.

She spun and faced Iri, still swinging Seraphiel's Bane in counter clockwise circle. Iri shook her auburn hair smiling. She wasn't listening.

Iri was focused on the Bane. Venus swung that thing quite fast whenever she was nervous or whenever she just needed something to keep her busy.

For at least a few minutes.

Like Iri, Venus knew that as soon as the Bane came off it's chain from her swinging it would become a deadly projectile.

“You're a Daughter of Light, Lenore.”

Venus bared her teeth at the mention of the horrid. But then she started laughing, “Come here Iri,, darling.”

When Iri froze where she sat on Venus' bed, Venus came to her. She used one hand to lift up her hair form the back of her neck, with the other she grabbed Iri's hand and placed it gingerly against her neck.

Iri tried hard not to flinch at the raised skin she felt, almost like welt. She pulled away but only felt Venus' grip grow stronger. The sword through the cloud. Light.

“I'm a damnable daughter of Light, my dear.”Venus let go of Iri and then only heard her fast steps hauling ass out.

That proved to be the only sure fire for Venus to get rid of Iri for a few hours.

Venus giggled a little and resumed her spinning of the Bane at a slower rate though. She walked out of her bedroom and down the hall, out of her estate. And soon plain into the desert.

She completely stooped her nervous habit and held the Bane to her slips ,unscrewing the stopper, and poured it's milky looking contents into the sand. It sizzled.

“Damnable daughter of light, indeed.”

Lolita would be pissed, she knew, but when she found out it would be too late.

She recapped Seraphiel's Bane, and swung it again. It flew through the air better now.

As she walked on through the desert(the heat didn't bother her a bit) she began singing the nonsense song she'd made up when sipping tea with Amilie the week before.

“Lacey, had a little kitty. But Lacey was allergic. But like her little kitty kept eating Like that miss Muffin.”

She stopped singing, at a grasp for what came next. She settled for the simplest thing she could remember.

“I had 5 scones and I ate one. And I only had four after that. What a terrible thing to have four scones. I could share with Spencer, but he doesn't like scones of course.”

"The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can and as often as you can, and keep moving on." Ulysses S. Grant

“Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!” Rita yelled the words as he chucked her algebra book across the room at her brother Brandon.

He caught the book, preventing it smashing the window next to him into bits. Rita usually had impeccably good aim, he had the scars to prove it. But maybe she hadn't been aiming at the window.

That would prove to be strange, Rita rarely had ill thoughts towards either of her brothers, just the women folk.

And that really could mean anyone Rita felt threatened by.. So not just women folk.

“Let's be calm Rita.”'Brandon took a few quick steps toward the raging girl.

“I am calm!”

“Mmm-hmm. How long has throwing things and yelling been considered calm?”

His response was a heeled Mary-Jane shoe hitting him in the shoulder

One sided conversation then. Not like this hadn't happened a few days before.

“I don't think that's how we were thought to settle our problems.”

Rita sank down behind her bed so Brandon could no longer see her.

I don't have a problem

“Miss Rita,” Brandon continued, annoyed, “I may sound crazy, but do you have a feel a bit of deja vu?”

Rita scowled, “Fuck off.”

“Nice words!” Brandon yelled.

Rita flinched. In her mind it was perfectly okay fro her to yell and tell someone off, but it was a completely different thing for it to happen to her. She reached under her bed and pulled out the secret stash of gummi bears. She popped one in her mouth and swallowed quickly not even tasting it.

“Go away, Brandon. Nice enough for you?”

“Eh...I can live with it. He reached down and picked up the shoe his little sister had thrown. He swung it around his finger, “Don't you have somewhere to be today?”

Rita checked her mental calender realizing it was Saturday. Time wise probably around 2 in the afternoon. She'd waken up late that day, having stayed up half the night. Probably not the best decision, but Hell what's done is done. Right?

Rita scowl changed into a blank expression. She continued eating the gummi bears.

“I'm pretty sure you have somewhere to be, Ree. I've been the one nominated to take you there.”

Rita actually looked this time when she grabbed a gummi bear. She liked the red the best. The one she got was yellow. That, to her, was the worst in the bunch.

“Rita!” Brandon yelled tired of the silent treatment.

“You only want to take me so you can get the car rather than Liv getting it.” Rita finally closed the container of candy and slid it back under her bed.

'You ate too much' that niggling little voice said. 'You fat ass.'

“That's not true. How do you know that it's not because I want to spend time with my baby sister.”

“That's entire bee ess and we both know it.”

“Bee ess.” Brandon started between giggles. “Are you trying to be Saintly Rita. I thought she went out along with Healthy Rita.”

Rita turned around and pulled herself on to her knees. “We're not talking about that.”

“You still have to go.” Brandon crossed over to where Rita sat and held out his hand.

“Fine, then.” Rita slapped his hand out of the way as she got up. She smoothed out the wrinkles on her green sun dress, and stalked away, downstairs.

"Put on your pretty lie, we're in the city of wonder." -Rihanna

Silence enveloped the trio as they watched the unexpected happen

Aggie Force played with the thin tendrils of her slat and pepper hair. Next to her Cassiel Moon, a ginger through and through, was twittering in delight.

In her near decade of knowing Cassiel she'd never seen him not moving.

Edge Rubios, Aggie's Apprentice, sat cross legged, floating on her hover board. She bit her lips, knowing that whatever Cassiel had to say and what Aggie would think of it were not very good at all.

They were looking at the map that showed the whereabouts of two, or rather one person. It used to rack two, but since the disappearance it was now more used to keep the lasting being safe.

Cassiel spoke first. He ,honestly, could never keep completely quiet for more than a few seconds.

“So this means that Loren isn't dead, doesn't it?”

Aggie gave a grim nod, “That may be so.”She subconsciously pulled out a strand of hair.

Edge ran her hands through her short lime green hair, she closed her brown eyes, waiting for Cassiel to say it.

Cassiel looked at her and a wide grin spread across his small face.

“Just say it Cassiel.” Edge muttered. She couldn't even look in Aggie's direction. She was so ashamed.

Aggie pushed the young man away from her chair and got up. She towered over him.

“I thought you two were better then children. 'We're not going to play I told you so', yes?

“Yes sir.” Cassiel saluted Aggie. Then realized his mistake. It was mostly because of the daggers Aggie had 'shot' him.

She clicked out the room. Edge looked after her, she always felt intimidated by Aggie's swagger. Miss Agatha Louise Force, was ironically a force to be reckoned with.

Edge swallowed her self pity and looked at her comrade.

“I guess we can't be right all the time. You should know, you're human.” she laughed as her board carried her out of the room.

Cassiel stayed behind musing about how much Loren being alive could really matter.
