Chapter 2: Backyard beach part 2

Silver was signing something on a clip board for a man with a huge truck full of sand. Silver wore his blue swimming trunks and no shoes or gloves.

“Hey kid” the large dog looked down at Silver, “ain’t you a bit young to be a landscape contractor?”

“Why yes…Yes I am” Silver handed back the man’ clip board, happy.

“Okay” He walked away as Shadow attached the hose to a gigantic water sprinkler. “This is going to be awesome!” silver said as Shadow turned on the sprinkler.

Blaze came back with Amy, Sonic and a few others.

“Hey guys, whats up?” silver asked them as Shadow jumped off the sprinkler.

“We heard that you had a beach in your backyard” Sonic started, “we wanted to party too”

“Awesome” Silver thumbed up them as Shadow pocked his brother’s shoulder, “We’re done, awesome”

That’s when pan walked up, “Having fun in your little Beach sandbox?” she asked mocking them, “this isn’t even worth a call to mom” she folded her arms as Shadow pulled a leaver in the sand box and the back fence came down and there was a beach, a tiki hut and surf boards.

Pan’s mouth dropped, she couldn’t believe here eyes.

“So Pan, what cha think?” Silver asked, throwing his hands up as their friends walked in.

“That’s it…I’m calling mom” she picked up her cell phone and turned around and there, standing there in her bathing suit was her best friend Rouge the bat.

“Hey, you didn’t tell me you had a beach in your backyard” rouge protested, glomping the green hedgehog.

“I didn’t know it either” Pan mumbled.

“You realize your going to the most popular girl on the block right?” Rouge asked her.

“Really?” Pan thought.

“and I saw Knuckles and his boys waxing their surfboards” Rouge whispered.

Pan’s eyes grew and became dream like, “Knuckles is here…I have to go get ready” She jumped up and took off.

“Hi boys” Rouge patted Silver and Shadow’s heads, “Thanks for inviting me”

“No problem Rouge” Silver smiled as Shadow put on shades.

Silver walked over to a surfboard, “Lets go, surfing” Silver went into the water as a bully he knew well swam up with his board.

Mephiles swam up next to Silver, “Your going down, spikes” he told him, pointing at him.

Silver, not phased by this, shrugged, “what ever you say Mel” He swam over to the raising wave. He lifted up with the wave and surfed it.

“There’s our third contestant, Silver” The announcer announced, “It’s great to see a young surfer with confidence” They then saw Mephiles coming towards Silver, “oh no! Whats this?” Mel jumped off his board to Silver which turned out to be a hologram. “Oh…kids these days with their holographic projections” the announcer joked watching Silver and his tricks, “He’s in the pipeline, now he’s hanging ten, he’s hanging 20, he’s hanging 32, Now he’s just hanging!”

The crowed began to scream and yell for Silver.

“The crowed is doing the wave and Silver’s riding it!” the announcer was shocked. “lets go to the judges, 10 to the 5th power… Infinity… and it seems Silver’s performance made judge number three rethink Einstin’s theory of relativity..COWABUNGA laws of nature”

Silver and Shadow high-fived as their volcano began to shake.

Pan was to busy dancing to notice until her phone went off. “Hello?”

“Pan, I was beginning to get worried” Her mother said on the other line, “I’m coming home right now”

“WHAT?” Pan paniced, “You can’t come home now….”

“I’m two minutes away, see you then” She said, hanging up with Pan.

“Whats wrong with the volcano?” Silver asked Shadow, who shrugged as it began to spew garden knoms. Crashing into lots of people. It then sucked them back and sucked the water and sand in, getting rid of everything.

The brothers shrugged to each other, and lifted the back fence again, getting rid of the evidence. Just then their mother walked back there.

Blaze, Amy and Sonic standing with Silver and Shadow.

“Hi kids, did you have fun at the beach today?” She asked, kissing both of her boys on the top of the head.

“yep we sure did” Silver smiled as their chao Kippy landed next to Shadow’s foot, “Oh…there you are Kippy” Silver said as their mother walked inside the house.

Pan’s mouth was ajar and she was in shock. “What happened to my paradise?” She asked them.

“I dunno” Silver shrugged as Pan angrily walked in side the house.

“So what are you guys gonna do tomorrow?” Blaze asked them.

Silver shrugged, “I dunno…Maybe we’ll teach Kippy some new tricks”

“Kippy’s to lazy to learn any tricks” Shadow told his brother.

“Oh….well..we’ll find something to do” Silver told them as they started leaving, “See you guys tomorrow”
