He'd survived Hell. But he'd left with regret and pain. The things he'd done down there scared him. He was angry at himself. He was pissed at being so weak.

Powerless. Weak. Pathetic. Dean's choice of words to describe himself. No one else could see that. Maybe not even Sam. But he was. Dean felt it. He was no good to anyone.

Hell was nothing like he'd come to expect. It was much worse. He'd entered Hell with his head hung low; he'd left with it even lower. He had nothing left. He left Hell as: the broken man.
