Ch 5.
Holy crow! Ch 5 already?
Ok, so I'm going to do what I’ve been doing for my other fic and propose that, in your reviews, you suggest possible songs for a soundtrack for the fic.
Please read and review.
Raven felt her eyes opening wide as saucers.
How is Lady Illusion here???
"Who...are you?" Raven asked. This was turning into a really weird day.
Lady Illusion rolled her eyes. "Illusion...Now come with me, my Lord will want to interrogate you, spy."
"Pigface Hungrrry!" whined a voice. Pigface, the grotesque pig from the Ace Lightning game, stumbled up behind Lady Illusion.
"Illusion find girl!" another voice chimed in. Anvil, one of Raven’s favourite characters, lumbered up beside Illusion.
Raven’s jaw dropped. She had to get out of here. By now she figured that she was going insane. She ducked under Anvil’s massive forearm and ran into the carnival. Using what she remembered from the exercises she’d done in gym class, she vaulted over the counter of the water gun game and hid beneath the counter.
She clutched the small dragon attatched to her choker. "Reveal," she whispered. The choker flew from her throat. It writhed and changed until it was a black staff. The top was a crescent moon; a single stone in the center of the top was held by numerous pieces of flat black metal, which ran from the crescent moon.
"Ok...let’s do this..."
She’d known how to do this ever since Helen had taught her, what seemed like ages ago. The only time she really ever had to practise was when she was alone in her house. She practised on her old Spice Girls CDs. Of course, she had kept it a secret from Fiona and Simon. Zero knew but then again, Zero was Raven’s twin. Raven honestly did not know how Helen knew how the choker worked. Hell, she’d been surprised when it turned into a staff the first time. Zero’s did something entirely different, which had surprised all three of them (Zero, Raven, and Helen).
She crawled out the back, hoping that they wouldn’t see her. If I can get to the Haunted House and Lord Fear is there, I’m gonna freak! she thought happily.
"Anvil crush!"
Raven turned and fired one blast of purple energy. It stunned Anvil long enough for Raven to run. Raven removed her sunglasses as she entered the Haunted House and placed them in her jacket pocket.
Organ room...Organ room... she thought.
She finally found the room, but stopped dead in her tracks. Lord Wolfgang Fear was at the organ. His skeletal fingers flew expertly across the keys, coaxing a haunting melody out of them.
Next to him, Staffhead was singing along to the melody.
"Staffhead..." Raven whispered.
The organ stopped. Fear’s neck elongated and twisted around to see the newcomer.
Raven raised her staff defensively. "This is so awesome!" Raven muttered. First Lady Illusion then Lord Fear? If this was insanity, she loved it.
Lord Fear grabbed Staffhead and raised him. "Who are you?" he hissed. "Did the Black Rose Society follow me here? How many more of you are here?"
Raven tilted her head. "Black...Rose? Umm, what’s that?"
Lord Fear lowered Staffhead. "If you’re not with them...then..."
"My name is Raven River...Hollander. Raven Hollander." She bit her lip. She always screwed up and called herself "Riverstorm".
"Blimey, you’re an odd one," Staffhead cut through her thoughts.
Raven’s eyes narrowed. "Blimey, go choke on a fly and die," she retorted. It wasn’t like any of this was real anyway. Staffhead wouldn’t do anything because he was not really there.

"Stupid homework," Zero grumbled. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley was the topic. A tap on her door caused her to look up.
"Come in!" she yelled, glad for the distraction.
In walked her faaavorite little brother! Little Mr. Mark!
"Hey, Markadoodle? Que tal?" Zero grinned. Her grin faltered when she saw the scared look on her little brother’s face. She pushed Brave New World off her bed and got him to sit down.
"What’s wrong, Mark?"
"T-the game..."
"Ooh, Ace Lightning? What happened? Did Lord Fear and Lady Illusion make out or something?"
Mark’s face scrunched up in disgust.
"Er...no...Zero, can you keep a secret?"
