Prologue

Deck of Konoha

Hiryu Satoshi looks up from his deck strategizing he was about to take the practical exam for Dual Academy. He managed to get into such prestigious school by getting some of the best test scores in the world only one surpassed him and that Bastion Misawa(not sure I spell that right). He earned such a reputation he designed a series of cards based on his favorite anime getting permission from both Industrial Illusions and his favorite anime’s creator to put these cards into production he was also surprised that they would going into mass production later, so he was the only one currently that held a deck with these cards. He also heard that more were coming out based on the series and he get them as they came out. But until he got to Duel Academy he wouldn’t unveil his new deck instead he’d use his old traditional beat down deck that featured his alternate art Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl.

The Practical portion for entrance into Duel Academy was simple defeat a dueling proctor or last to a certain point. Some didn’t take the Practical portion because they either designing games or signing on to become future artist for cards. Only 45% of students in Duel Academy, to actually become professional duelist. Hiryu however was in that 45 percentile. He sat patiently waiting for his name to be called Bastion coming to sit next to him. “It’s alphabetical right?”

Bastion nodded, “Seems so you’ll probably be here long after I take my practical.”

“Please there aren’t many students here taking the practical,” Hiryu stated looking around. “I’d say half of these guys flunked out on the written test.”

“The formulas were difficult, but the numbers were in my favor,” Bastion stated.

Hiryu snorted at him crossing his arms, “Spare me that test was cake, the only thing I had problems with were the fusion ratios. But then again I’m not exactly a fusion duelist.”

Bastion smirked, “No it was never your strongest skill, yours was more bash your opponent into submission with extremely powerful low level cards like Gene-Worped Warwolf and Gemini Elf.”

“Worked well, when they thought they had enough I’d whip my alt. art Dark Magician and Jinzo then it’s all over,” Hiryu smirked, “But when I go to Duel Academy, that particular deck is going into retirement.”

“Why it’s one of your most solid creations?” Bastion asked.

“Simple I got a new deck made from cards I created and isn’t in circulation yet,” Hiryu smirked turned into an evil grin. “They’re already approved by Industrial Illusions, if you’re going to protest.”

“I see so when will this deck debut?” Bastion asked.

“Whatever comes first, a school duel, an exam, punishment duel it won’t matter to me,” Hiryu explains as Bastion’s name is called for his practical exam. Leaning back he notice two figures one was short with sky blue hair, the other was about average height with reddish brown hair, the one with the reddish brown looked on with enthusiasm while the shorter one seemed to be a walk ball of nerves. But it was the taller boy that attracted his attention. The guy has some dueling spirit the likes that hasn’t been seen since Yugi Moto. Interesting can’t wait to see what he’s all about. Hiryu stood back up, several students from the previous year were present, he spotted Zane Truesdale and Alexis Rhodes, with a sigh, the girl was a bit out of Hiryu’s league but it was rumored the girl had two equally good looking friends that may be available.

“HIRYU SATOSHI, REPORT TO DUELING ARENA THREE!” the PA announcer called out over the PA system.

“Time to be immortalize,” Hiryu took out his spellcaster beat down deck shuffled it as he walked down the stairs glaring at few Obelisk who called him loser. “Going to so kick their ass in duels once I get to the Academy.”

He slid his deck into the card reader and stepped onto the platform, his opponent was a female dueling proctor who looked a bit tired, “You okay miss, look at bit beat up?”

“This has been the thirteenth duel I’ve conducted since eight this morning,” the woman smiled tiredly. “I have won eleven out of the thirteen how ever, maybe it be good if you left, relied on your written exam.”

“Sorry miss, but in order to start at somewhere other than the bottom I got to prove I’m worthy of the academy. So as they say it’s time to go to work,” Hiryu activated his duel disk as the proctor did the same. “Since your tired I’ll let you go first.” He drew five cards and waited.

“I summon Injection Fairy Lily 400/1500 in attack mode, and lay one card face down,” the proctor stated.

Hiryu drew his sixth card and smirked slightly, “Let’s first do something about your face down, I activate Mystical Space Typhoon and blow it from the field, next I’ll activate the spell card Ancient Rules.”

The proctor looked on in shock, “How did you get that?”

“My secret miss and I special summon the Dark Magician 2500/2100 to the field,” Hiryu’s version of the legendary Dark Magician was a bit different Yugi’s his was green skinned, with blonde hair, and he had red stripes. “Since that was my special summoning I’ll normal summon Gene-Worped Warwolf 2000/100 in attack mode. Next I’ll equip Dark Magician with United We Stand and Mage Power, you do the math 1600 plus 1000 onto 2500 makes it a grand total of 5100, but I’ll attack your Injection Fairy Lily with Gene-Worped Warwolf first.”

“Why do that either way you’ll beat me?” the proctor asked.

“Simple I don’t want to be placed in Obelisk, this way they’ll deduct points. Strategy is more about getting the results you want not what others want,” Hiryu stated as Gene-Worped vanished. “Okay Dark Magician, Dark Magic Attack!”

“WINNER: HIRYU SATOSHI!” the pa stated.

Author’s Note: this is sort of a crossover only Naruto and company are cards in Yu-gi-oh GX so I’ll be putting this under Yu-gi-oh GX. Its retelling season one with an added character. Love for someone help with this I’m not really good with Dueling dialogue and such Jaden/Alexis and OC/Either Jasmine or a new girl, I haven’t decided yet.

Monsters:

3x Naruto Uzumaki Warrior Type 4 2000/100 Light

3x Sasuke Uchiha Warrior Type 4 1900/400 Dark

2x Sakura Haruno Warrior Type 3 600/2100 Earth Effect: 1: If you have Naruto Uzumaki or Sasuke Uchiha card on the field you can not destroy them until this card is destroyed first. 2: If in defense mode this car gains 500 def points once per turn.

Kakashi Hatake Warrior Type 6 2400/1500 Light Effect: Both opponents cannot use or activate traps.

Tsunade the 5th Hokage Warrior Type 7 2800/2100 Fire Effect: You can use three to tribute for this monster if successful destroy all cards on opponents side of the field.

Team 8: Hinata/Shino/Kiba Warrior Type 5 2100/800 Water Effect: Can only use one effect. Hinata: Look at all the cards in opponent’s hand. Shino: Opponent looses 800 Life Points a turn. Kiba: Gain 1000 atk and def points.

Ino YamanakaWarrior Type 3 0/2100 Earth

2x Choji AkimichiWarrior Type 2 400/600 Earth Effect: Flip: If flipped destroy one of your opponents monsters.

2x Shikmaru NaraWarrior Type 4 1500/1200 Dark Effect: Take control of one your opponents monster, opponents must attack that monster. Battle Damage calculated as normal.

2x HakuWarrior Type 3 200/300 Water Effect: Cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. And can take 1000 points from opponent when flipped.

Kabuto the Sound Spy Warrior Type 4 1000/600 Earth Effect: You can search your deck for monster with 1500 atk points or less, then shuffle deck.

Kushina UzumakiSpirit/Warrior Type 3 300/400 Light Effect: Return on spell card from your graveyard to your hand

Spell Cards:

RasenganEquip Spell Card: Can only be equipped to Naruto Uzumaki or Jiraiya the Toad Sage. Raise attack by 2000 for three turns.

ChidoriEquip Spell Card: Can only be equipped to Sasuke Uchiha or Kakashi Hatake. Raise attack by 2000 for two turns.

Team Seven Strike Field Spell Card: Can only use when Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno are on the field at the same time. All attacks are reduced to 0.

Shadow Clone JutsuQuick Play: Create a Naruto Uzumaki Token if Naruto Uzumaki is on the field.

SharinganEquip Spell Card: Use for Sasuke Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, or Itachi Uchiha. Can attack twice in a turn and immune to spell cards.

2x 1000 Years of Death: Destroys a single monster in face down defense mode

2x Ground Decapitation Jutsu: Destroys one monster on opponent’s side of the field with the highest attack points.

Orochimaru’s Resurrection Jutsu: Return one monster in either attack or defense mode from either graveyard to your side of the field.

Medic Nin Chakra Surgery: At the cost of 800 Life Points return one of your monsters to the field.

Trap Cards:

2x Chakra depletion Armor: Destroy an attacking monster.

Rise from the Grave Jutsu: Return one monster from the graveyard

Haku’s Mirror Ice Dome: Activate only if attacked Destroy all your opponents face up attack position Monsters.

Substitution Jutsu: Switch spaces with opponent’s monster if attacked; use another opponent’s monster to switch places with.

Sakura Blossom Blast Jutsu: Discard one card from your hand to destroy all opponents spell and trap cards

2x Konoha Village Walls: Negate the attack of an opponent’s monster and end the battle phase.

Shinobi Sacrifice: Destroy one monster both you and your opponent take the damage of the monsters attack points.
