Elena put down her guitar and cried herself to bed. Elena walked downstairs and stood near the kitchen table “Mom, I agree with you. . .” said Elena “Agree with what?” asked Julie in a confused voice “I agree to go to Canada, I agree never to come back here . . .and I agree . . .I agree not to be with Zick.” said Elena in a sad voice “Alright then . .” said Julie “So, when are you going ?” asked Harvey “Tomorrow.” everyone was stunned by her answer they all asked “Tomorrow?!” “Yes, tomorrow. You better get a ticket mom. And I better pack my things.” said Elena as she went upstairs to her room and shut the door quietly “What’s gotten into her?” asked Violet.

Elena took everything she needed shoes, clothes and everything else, then she held the picture of her and Zick when they were still 12 she missed hunting down monsters with him, playing around and talking with him, now they won’t even talk to each other, she looked at it and smashed it on the ground, she went outside to their backyard and sat on a stone bench, after a while someone with blue hair, height the same as hers and have excellent brown eyes “H-hey Elena.” said Zick, Elena just kept looking around and ignored Zick

“Aw! C’mon Elena, I said sorry didn’t I?” said Zick, Elena still ignored him

“Look Elena, I broke up with Diane . .you’re my bestfriend you’re supposed to give me comfort. Elena, I missed you. I missed my friend. Elena please talk to me?” said Zick

“Then make-up with Diane and make her comfort you . . .why should it be me?” said Elena

“I missed your voice Elena, I never felt so alone before. Can . . .we hang-out sometime?”

“I’m sorry but I can’t. . .”

“Why? Alright . .fine . .tomorrow then?’

“Sorry . .but I’m booked I have a flight tomorrow to Canada and . . I’m afraid I won’t be coming back . . ..”

“Y-you’re leaving me?”

“I’m . .just . . .I can’t handle my emotions Zick . I have to stay away from you for a while . .”

“Why do you have to stay away? Elena, please don’t go . . .you’re my bestfriend Elena, we’ve already been separated before and you’re just gonna let it happen again?”

“Sorry Zick . . . .but . . . .I . . .I . . .” Elena just let out a sob

“What time will you be leaving tomorrow?”

“S-seven o’clock. . .” sobbed Elena

“I guess . .you really don’t want to see me huh? It’s ok . . .I understand . . I even thought you were my friend . .turns out you’re just like anybody else in school.” without another word Zick ran back to his house.

“Zick . .no . . .that’s not what I meant!” said Elena as she ran after Zick, “Zick! Wait!” said Elena as she tried to open the locked door “Zick. I . .I . . . .I just, Zick . . .” sobbed Elena. Zick watched Elena go back to her house from his window at his room, and moped around in his room, he set the alarm clock to 7am in the morning so he would be sure to wake up in the morning, he sat on his bed and slowly fell asleep. Elena made sure her things were all packed for the flight and went straight to bed.

Elena woke up early in the morning and got her luggage downstairs, after she said her goodbyes she got in the car. Zick pushed the snooze button on his alarm clock and saw it was already 7:00 in the morning then he remembered Elena was going to the airport at 7:00 in the morning he ran downstairs and grab the keys of the car of Zob and drived the car. Zick parked his car and saw Elena get down from their car he ran towards Elena and her dad

“Elena! Elena! No! Don’t go!” said Zick as he ran towards them

“Zick? What’re you doing here?” asked Elena

“I catched up with you . . .I don’t want you to go . .I don’t wanna loose you again. Elena . . .please don’t leave me?” said Zick

“I don’t know Zick, I already have the ticket, there’s no refunds . .’ said Elena, the Harvey snatched the ticket away from her and ripped it into two

“There, you don’t need to worry about anything.” said Harvey, Elena looked confused

“Elena, please . .even if it’s the last thing you do for me, please Elena, I’m even in my night wear just to reach you here, I would probably get in trouble because I drived the car without my dad knowing, just to get here. But I don’t care about any of that because I . . .I . . I love you Elena, you’re the one I love . ..not Diane.” said Zick, Elena went closer to him “I love you too Zick. And I’m sorry I’ve been ignoring you . .. . I don’t care if you’re in your pyjamas, you still look good though.” said Elena,

Zick went closer to Elena and kissed her “Hey, hey, hey! There’s no way I’m going to let you kiss . .” Elena and Zick looked embarrassed “Without a picture . .” added Harvey as he took his camera, Zick and Elena both laughed and Zick kissed Elena again

“I love you Zick ..” said Elena “I love you too Elena.” said Zick as he lifted her up at his back and carried her to his car “Uh . .Mr. Potato is it ok if Elena ride home with me?” asked Zick “No problem Zick.” said Harvey.

Zick and Elena drived home. when they got out of the car and saw Diane coming towards them “Diane I . .” said Zick “No worries Zick, I accept it. I knew we weren’t going to last forever. I just want you to be happy.” said Diane “Really?” asked Zick “Yeah, I’m happy for you . .and Elena. Maybe someday I’ll be worthy of someone as terrific as you. I gotta run, my parents are waiting for me.” Diane ran back to her house, all of a sudden it started to rain “C’mon Zick we btter go in . .” said Elena “Not before we do this . .’ said Zick as he spun her ‘round to him and kissed her.

A/N: So I guess Zick and Elena ended up with each other after all. And Julie just got used with Zick and Elena being together. Of all my stories this is my favourite. Please review . . .
