Kat woke up around 9:30 that Saturday. She had to find out what was up with Kathryn.

First she got dressed in a pair of red velour Juicy Couture sweat pants, and a white Ed Hardy tank top that said "Punk's not dead." Then she threw on the matching Juicy Couture zip up hoodie.

Then she put on her Ratt necklace (Ratt is Kat's favroite band), put on some make up and brushed out her hair.

Then she turned on her iPhone.

She saw that Kathryn left her a text message.

"Meet me at the arena" it read.

So she grabbed her iPhone and iPod, stuffed it in her neon leopard print Betsey Johnson tote, put on some flip flops and went to meet Kathryn at the arena.

AT THE ARENA...

"About time you came here." Kathryn said.

"Sorry." Kat said, shyly.

"No biggie."
"So why did you have to leave so suddenly yesterday?" Kat asked her new, and only friend.

"It's gonna sound funny, but honestly, I felt like shit, next to your closet of clothing." Kathryn confessed.

"Look, it's just clothing, cotton, peice of fabric." Kat said, pulling a loose string on her Juicy Couture hoodie.

Kathryn gasped.

"See look, it can fall apart like this." Kat said.

"Yeah, but your used to getting all the nice stuff. I know those flip flops, as simple as they are, I know they aren't from Target or Kmart. I don't think you can buy Juicy Couture flip flops at Kmart!" Kathryn said, envying those red flip flops with "JUICY" written in silver glitter.

"Look, seriously, I never been into a Wal Mart or a Kmart or even a Target. Okay, now who's the laughing stock of the town? HEY SPRINGWOOD! I NEVER STEPED FOOT IN WAL MART!" Kat yelled, causing Kathryn to laugh.

"I'm taking you to Wal Mart." Kathryn said, leading Kat to Wal Mart.

"Oh, I never wore these, have em if you like em." Kat said, handing a pair of pink Chanel sunglasses to Kathryn.

Kathryn was amazed by them.

"I can have these?" Kathryn asked.

"Hell yeah." Kat said.

"But these are like 700 dollar sunglasses." Kathryn said.

"Yeah, and this whole outfit of mine probably comes to about that. You need those sun glasses, they look great on you." Kat said.

"Thank you." Kathryn said, as they entered Wal Mart.

"OH MY GOODNESS! THAY HAVE A SUB WAY!" Kat screamed, she was amazed by this mini city called Wal Mart.

"You really never been in Wal Mart." Kathryn said.

"No I haven't! Uh, are these flip flops really five dollars?" Kat asked, holding up a pair of pink flip flops that said "CALIFORNIA".

"Yeah, not like your 50 dollar Juicy Couture ones." Kathryn said, shocked that her best friend never saw five dollar flip flops.

"They are so cute!" Kat said, not wanting to put them back.

"Buy 'em." Kathryn said.

"I don't have money on me." Kat said.

"Me neither, but don't you have a credit card?" Kathryn asked.

"No, my parents won't let me have one untill I'm 16." Kat said.

"But they seem to get you whatever you want." Kathryn said.

"They do get me what I want, just not a credit card. Oh well I'm gonna call my mom or dad and tell them to come down here." Kat said, calling her parents.

Within five minutes, Kat's mom and dad were at the Wal Mart.

"I like these." Kat said, showing her mom the flip flops.

"Okay." Taryn said.

"And this." Kat said, holding up a pink Def Leppard pajama set.

"Okay princess. Hey, Kathryn, you want or need anything?" Taryn asked.

"Well this is really cute." Kathryn said, holding up a hot pink tee shirt with surf board on it.

"Come on, I know there must be more than that you want." Taryn said to Kathryn.

"This." Kathryn said, holding up a new bathing suit.

"Okay, is that it?" Taryn asked.

"Yeah." Both girls said.

"Thanks mom." Kat said.

"Thanks Taryn." Kathryn said.

"Your welcome. Oh, your still sleeping over Wendsday, right?" Trayn asked.

"Yeah." Kathryn said.

Kat was the nicest spoiled kid she ever known....
