POV Pandora
Recap: His smile got a little bigger as he walked towards me. End recap
He sat down in the seat next to me just as Mr. Murphy walked in. “Hello students.” Mr. Murphy’s eyes stayed on me longer than was polite. I heard the new kid snicker. I threw him a glare and pulled out some paper ‘to take notes.’ really I would just be doodling. The new kid looked over and pulled out some paper himself. Ha the idiot really thought he was supposed to take notes. Idiot. Mr. Murphy started to talk and the new kid rapidly wrote. While I started doodling.
Ouch! something poked me in my elbow. It was the new kids pencil. I glared at him and he handed me his notes. No they where a note.
Wow, I knew girls did some desperate things, but really you would sleep with Mr. Dry eyes for an A?
I glowered at him. I absolutely hated this boy!
No, idiot. He has a crush on my mom. Now leave me alone!
I passed the note back to him, and he grinned. Wow. His grin was slightly evil, but it was beautiful at the same time. He passed the note back.
Hey don’t go all PMSing on me I was just kidding. Anyway I was wondering if you want to sit with me at lunch. B y the way my name is Nate Silver. What’s yours?
Arrogant idiot. He didn’t even know my name and he asked me to lunch.
Pandora Halliwell. Yes.
When he got my response he smirked.
Wow. No wonder you aren’t taking notes.
“Mrs. Halliwell, Mr. silver would you two please pay attention!” Mrs. Dickinson barked from the front of the class room.
As soon as the bell rang I jumped up from my seat. Mr. Murphy would try to stop me and ask me to put in a good word for him for my mom. I was almost out the door when an arm grabbed my elbow. Spun around and Nate was holding my arm. “Sorry, about getting you in trouble earlier and for being a smart ass.” he looked so sincere. I just rolled my eyes, smiled, and walked away.
The rest of the day passed in a blur. I didn’t know why but I was excited to see Nate. Maybe it was because he was so cute or the fact that when he said sorry his eyes where fully of need. Like he needed me to forgive him. As I was walking into the cafeteria a hand grabbed my elbow again. I wonder who that could be, I thought dryly. Nate was standing behind me, “What are you doing?” he asked. “Going…to eat…lu….nch.” I said slowly making him raze his eyebrows. “I am not going to take you to lunch in a cafeteria!” he hissed.
