Bellatrix was sitting in her bedroom, brushing out her long, silky ebony hair. She was dressed in a blood red dress; she had a meeting with someone later and wanted to look her best. She was getting inducted if all went well tonight. Andromeda knocked on her older sister's door.

Bellatrix stood up and walked to the door, opening it. "Sister." She said as she looked at her younger sister.

"May I talk to you?" Andromeda asked a bit flatly.

"Of course." Bellatrix was a little surprised that she was asking to talk but she opened the door wider none the less.

Andromeda walked in. She knew she needed to do this but had no idea what kind of reaction she would get. Her brown hair was over her shoulder, a promise ring on her finger that her family had not noticed.

"What would you like sister dear?" Bellatrix asked as se looked at her sister, seeing a ring but not saying anything about it yet.

"Don't do this, Bella," Andromeda said to her sister. Her tone had a pleading side but she had to try.

"Do what Andromeda?" Bellatrix asked, her eyes narrowing.

"You know what," Andromeda said. "You have no idea what you're getting into. You could be killed!"

"Then I will die fighting for something I believe in." She walked to her sister and took her hand. "Who gave you this ring? Was it that Mudblood you were seeing?"

Andromeda snatched her hand back, her face turning harder as she stayed silent about it. "Are you sure this is worth it? Are you sure this is going to work out how you want?"

"No." Bellatrix whispered. "I will die for him. I know that and I'm ready for it." She looked at her sister, like she used to when they were little girls. "Look after Cissa for me. She's not as cleaver as we."

"I used to think you were clever. I looked up to you," Andromeda said. "But I'm not so sure anymore." She took one last look at her sister, shaking her head before leaving the room.

Bellatrix hide a tear. "She will have everything I won't get." She whispered to herself. Deep down she wanted to fall in love with a man who could love her back, have a family, live. But she was under a spell that could not be broken; her love for the Dark Lord was pulling her too strongly. She left something for each of her sisters on her bed before leaving.

Years passed and neither sister sought out the other. Bellatrix worked closely with the Dark Lord and tried to forget her middle sister, the love they had to each other. She was shopping for potion supplies when she saw a woman enter the store.

Andromeda was holding the hand of a little girl who's hair was half pink and half brown. She was getting some supplies that her cousin, Sirius, had asked her for. She looked at the shelves, her lips pursed as she tried to find what she was looking for.

"Hello sister." Bellatrix walked up to Andromeda. She saw the little girl, noted the nose and how it was the same as her own.

Andromeda stiffened, her eyes shooting to Bellatrix. She hadn't seen her in years, tried not to think about her. She looked different, more serious and her skin was a bit more gray. She hated herself for gripping Nymphadora's hand a bit more. "Bella," she whispered.

"I see you've had a daughter. What is her name?" She asked, she knew she would be reprimanded for talking to her but she knew after the plans she was going to carry out within the coming years her sister would never talk to her again.

Andromeda didn't say anything for a moment. She wasn't sure what to make of this. "Nymphadora," she said.

"My I . . . hold her?" Bellatrix asked, her body stiff. She hated herself for wanting to, for knowing she too could have had a daughter.

"Why?" Andromeda blurted, a bit confused.

"She is my niece, is she not?" Bellatrix asked, her jaw tightening a little.

Andromeda took a breath and picked up Nymphadora. "Would you like to meet someone?" She asked her daughter.

"Pretty." Dora giggled softly as she looked at her aunt. Andromeda hesitated before handing her daughter to her sister. She was careful, watching them carefully.

"Hello Nymphadora." Bellatrix whispered, fighting back all emotion.

"Who you?" Dora asked, her hair turning black like the woman's.

"I'm your Aunt Bellatrix." Bellatrix said, fighting a smile and tears as the little girl's hair turned.

"Aunt?" Nymphadora asked, never having heard of that from her parents.

"I'm your mother's sister." Bellatrix whispered as she held the little girl, looking at her sister. If only she knew how many people the hands that held her daughter has taken, she's run from her and never let her child see her again.

"Ted is an only child," Andromeda whispered. "So she's never met an aunt or uncle before."

Bellatrix kissed the child's forehead almost tenderly, setting her down. She pulled her sister close to her. "I am a murderer, you should be carefully who you let your child near." She Apparated away without another word. That night she killed 4 people, just to get rid of the feelings that seeing her sister and the little girl gave her.

Nymphadora looked confused. "Sister?" She asked, pointing to where Bellatrix was.
Andromeda closed her eyes, picking her up and holding her tightly, leaving quickly. "She's not my sister anymore," she whispered, a tear falling.

Narcissa walked to her eldest sister's grave. She had paid to have her laid to rest properly. She laid a black rose on the headstone. Closing her eyes, she took a shaky breath. Andromeda walked to the grave where her little sister stood. She was holding a sleeping baby. She had no idea why she was here.

"Hello Andromeda." Narcissa whispered softly.

"Cissy," Andromeda whispered, looking at the gravestone.

Narcissa turned and looked at her older sister. "He looks just like . . . Bella." She whispered as she stroked the little boys cheek.

"Don't you dare say that," Andromeda snapped, looking at her little sister. Teddy shifted in his grandmother's arms, his hair flashing a few times before settling on a sandy blonde.

"She couldn't help it Andy." Narcissia whispered as a few tears fell. "She was in love with him and he used it and twisted it. After she was in . . . she was never right when she came out."

"She killed my daughter," Andromeda said flatly. "She killed his mother. She was no sister of mine. You can still be if you like but she was not." She turned, walking back out of the cemetery.

Narcissia grabbed her sister's hand. "I am a mother, I know what it's like to have a child fighting." She looked into her sister's eyes. "That was not Bella. That was not our sister. That was someone else, that was not who I remember from my childhood."

"Do you know who it feels to have a child fighting and then die? Do you know how it feels to have your child die by the hands of the... person you looked up to when you were little? The person who you crawled into bed with when you were having a nightmare? It was her people who killed my family. My husband, my daughter, my son-in-law. She killed our cousin and his best friends. Her and her people killed so many people and I do not care why she became like that. I grew up in the same household as she did and I have no killed one person in my life. I don't really want to know what you did but you should be grateful she didn't kill your family, too." Andromeda said flatly, tears falling.

Narcissa pulled her sister and the little boy into a hug. "She would have if I hadn't . . . We had a deal." She whispered as he cried softly against her sister.

Andromeda was stiff, holding Teddy closer. "What kind of deal did you make with... her?" She asked coldly.

"She didn't kill my son and I didn't tell the Dar . . . Tom . . . what her Boggart was." Narcissa whispered as she pulled back a little.

"If I had made a deal with her, would she have killed my family?" Andromeda asked, her jaw set. "My Mudblood husband, my half-blood daughter, and my werewolf of a son-in-law? Would they have died if I had made a deal with her?"

"Her Boggart was the two of us dead Andromeda." Narcissa whispered softly as she looked at all the pain on her sister's face. "She didn't want anyone to know she still feared for our lives more than her own."

"Then why did she and her people kill practically everything that mattered to me?" Andromeda whispered, more tears falling as she held Teddy closer. "My family was my life."

"She was given orders to kill you and she couldn't do it. Your family didn't matter to her, but she could bring herself to kill you." Narsicca handed her a handkerchief. "I know it's not right, I know it hurts, but she loved you till the very end."

"She killed me and anything I still felt for her when she killed my family," Andromeda said flatly, holding back sobs as she turned and walked away again, holding Teddy to her.

Nercissa stopped her again. "I never said I agreed with her. I would have done the same as Molly Weasley given the chance. I'm asking you to let me be your sister again, to love her as the person she was before school."

Andromeda jerked away from her, careful not to wake the baby. "Maybe you can but she never will," she said, Apparating quickly. Narcissa took a breath, trying to stop crying. She Apparated to her sister's home, she needed her right now. She knocked on the door softly.

Andromeda was putting Teddy in his crib. She closed her eyes, her jaw tightening when she heard the lock. She ran her hand over her face for a moment before going downstairs to open the door.

"I wasn't done Andy." She whispered, using her old nickname for her sister. "I was going to ask you to have tea with me." Andromeda closed her eyes, taking a breath. She stepped back to let her in. She really didn't want to see anyone right now, especially her but knew she couldn't get rid of her.

"I might be in my 50's but I need my big sister damn it." Narcissa said looking at her. "My husband is going to get the Kiss, my son has locked himself in his room, and I might be put in jail."

Andromeda took another breath. "Fine," she said. She wasn't sure how she felt about her sister, wasn't sure if she could forgive her for not fighting harder against everything.

"Do you mind if we have something a little stronger than tea?" Narcissa asked. "Whiskey worked when you were 17, I think it will work now."

"I can't have too much," she murmured, walking into the kitchen.

"Teddy is his name right?" Narcissa asked as she sat down at the kitchen table. Andromeda nodded, sitting down and handing a glass to Narcissa.

"The last time I drank this stuff I was with you." She said before drinking half in one go.

"I see you can handle it better," Andromeda mumbled, taking a sip of hers.

"You know I always found my husband a little odd." Narcissa said during her third drink. "He hated Muggle's but it was muggle technology that gave him his son." Andromeda raised an eyebrow at her. "His swimmers and few and far between. He can't get it up without a little pill." Narcissia giggled.

Andromeda couldn't help but smirk. "Interesting," she muttered, taking another sip.

"I was a virgin till I was 26, it took him take long to go to a Muggle doctor. I remember going with him." She finished the third and closed her eyes. "I wish I never told him about it."

Andromeda took a breath, looking away. "I'm sorry I didn't try harder to get you to come with me and Ted," she whispered.

"It wasn't your fault." She took her sister's hand. "I was betrothed to him. Father needed some kind of heir." Andromeda nodded slowly, not sure what to say. She heard someone knock on the back door and knew who it was.

"Mrs. Tonks?" Ginny called. "Harry sent me to get Teddy."

Andromeda stood, taking a breath and wiping her face. She went to the door and opened it. "I thought I told you to call me Andromeda, dear," she said, smiling lightly.

"Sorry it’s a habit." She smiled, they walked into the house. "Oh hello Mrs. Malfoy." Ginny said as Andromeda went to get Teddy.

Narcissa was a bit surprised, not quite sure what to say to this girl. "Hello..."

"I was going to write you, but I guess this works too." Ginny was nervous as she stood there. "Thank you for what you did for Harry. I know you could have been killed for it . . . just thank you." Ginny whispered, not knowing if she liked or didn't like the woman.

Narcissa's eyebrows went up a little, very surprised. "I... you're welcome," she murmured.

"Harry talked to the Minister and you aren't going to be put in jail. If you want he'd put your husband under house arrest. He'd going to write you Monday." Ginny was hoping Teddy would get down here soon.

Narcissa blinked at her. "I... tell him... thank you," she murmured. "But my husband can go to jail as long as Draco doesn't." Ginny nodded softly. Once she had Teddy and his things she Flooed quickly.

"She's a charming girl." Narcissa said softly.

"She is," Andromeda whispered, sitting back down. "Strong, just like her mother. She's great with Teddy."

"Do the Weasley's take him much?" Narcissa asked.

Andromeda nodded. "Harry is over there most of the time so Teddy is as well. They've all welcomed him... and me as well."

"Harry is the Godfather?" Narcissa asked, connecting the dots.

Andromeda nodded, finishing her drink. "He's really good with him as well. He freaked out a bit at first but figured it out."

"Sirius was the same way." She laughed softly. "Or from what I know at least."

Andromeda took a breath. "He was. Nymphadora adored him," she whispered.

"I'm selling Malfoy Manor." Narcissa said after a few moments.

Andromeda looked at her. "Why?"

"Too much blood has spilled there." She whispered softly. "Draco is buying a place in London."

She nodded. "Where are you going to go?" She whispered.

"I don't know." She took a breath.

Andromeda didn't say anything for a moment. "I have a guest room," she whispered.

"You would want me here?" She asked, worried that her sister was just offering.

Andromeda took another breath. "This house is too big for just me and Teddy. And it doesn't have to be permanent... there isn't a catch or anything. But you do have to change some diapers."

Narcissa laughed softly. "Alright, but I want to pay rent. I have a few hundred years of Malfoy money to burn though."

"Now I couldn't deny that," Andromeda smiled lightly.

"I have a few billion to go though; would you like to help dear sister?" Narcissa asked with a smirk.

"I need a bit of fun," she said, laughing lightly. "And I know if Teddy is anything like Dora, he will be a needy little bugger."

"You know what this kitchen needs? I solid gold sink." Narcissa smirked.

Andromeda laughed. "Ted always wanted a gold toilet," she said.
