Oh, I almost forgot-some words in here are that are words Australians use and are spelt the way we spell them here. I’ll put what they mean at the end of this chapter.

“I’m falling...”

“Is this a dream?”

The sound of air blowing past her ears made everything else inaudible. Her eyes were closed, but she could tell she was falling. The momentum tugged at the lower hems of her hooded jumper and her blue denim skirt-good thing she had a belt to hold her skirt up.

“Where am I?”

“What’s going on?”

Her brown eyes opened slightly, but shut again-for some reason, a wave of exhaustion claimed her and dragged her back into sleep.

“Yeah.”

“Sleep is good.”

“This is all a dream...

...right?”
