Looking
There was no harming in looking. Just a sneaky peek and that was all. Still, she told herself, she shouldn’t be interested in her colleges – especially one who was still hooked on his ex. Cam sighed heavily turning away from the sight of Hodgins bending over to retrieve the files he had just dropped. There was no way that she was really interested in him, the man seemed to have a slight problem with heads of authority and being one herself they weren’t exactly best friends. But there was something rather...compelling about him even if he wasn’t normally her type.
She turned her head a little catching him straightening and wandering off back to his desk. No, he really wasn’t her type at all and there would never be anything between them. Still a girl could imagine and she guessed that for now that would be enough.

Hodgins let out a breath as he heard her heels click away and he peeked around in time to see her disappear from sight. He had purposely dropped the files knowing that she would just leave him to it without talking. He didn’t want to talk to her right now especially when all he could do was just stare at her and have his eyes, by their own accordance, travel over her body admiringly. It was becoming a problem that he had no idea of how to deal with it. His attraction to Cam was because he was getting over Angela, he told himself, but it was only getting stronger every time he was around her.
She was beautiful, smart, sassy and with a sense of humour that could match his own on many levels. Their conflict over authority had sent sparks between them but he had come to respect her and admire her at times.
There was no harm in looking at her he guessed. He only felt a little guilty that it wasn’t her face that he just looked at. Looking wasn’t the harm, it was the thoughts and the fact that he knew that he was falling for her with no way of stopping.
