“Danica . .our classmate since grade five.”

“Why don’t you ask her out?”

‘I’ll bet she’s beautiful, that girl he always talk about, I don’t even remember Danica. I think she has everything that I have to live without. I hope Zick doesn’t see that I want and I’m needing everything that we should be.’ thought Elena

Elena laughed at Zick’s joke she didn’t even hear her mother call her

“Elena! Elena!” said Julie

“Yes mom?” she asked

“I’ve been calling you like, forever!”

Elena went back to the living room and laughed because she can’t even see, or hear anyone when she’s with Zick

“I gotta go Elena, I have to do my homework. Bye see ya.” said Zick as he went out of the house

“Alright bye!” said Elena.

Elena was sleeping soundly at her room, but her cellphone rang and it was Zick

“Zick? Why are you calling at one o’clock in the morning?” asked Elena

“Gosh I’m so in love Elena I couldn’t sleep, I finally got right with Danica and she said she’ll go out with me! Thanks for advising me to ask her out.” said Zick

‘Maybe I shouldn’t have done that!’ thought Elena

“Elena, are you still there?” asked Zick

“Yeah, I am, bye.” then Elena hung up

‘I wonder if you know, you’re all I think about at night Zick.’ thought Elena.

Elena was at her own car and sang a song that was played by the radio

‘Gosh, that song really reminds me of Zick. I don’t why I keep singing this song. It’s like, he’s the song that I’m singing.’ thought Elena.

Elena was getting something from her locker and Zick walked by Elena

Elena saw Zick walk by her

‘Can Zick tell that I can’t breathe?’ thought Elena

Zick walked towards Elena, she smiled at Zick ‘cause she thought that he was going to talk to her, but Zick walked past Elena, he went towards ‘Danica’ and both of them walked together to their classes

‘There he goes, so perfectly. The kind of flawless I really wish I could be. Danica better hold him tight and give Zick all her love. And she better know she’s lucky to have Zick.’ Elena thought and her eyes were tearing up.

Elena bumped at Zick while she was fixing her bag

“Oh, hey Elena. Is it ok if you drive home all by yourself tonight? I gotta take Danica home.’ said Zick
Elena’s eyes teared up and she looked down on the floor

“Y-yeah. Sure. Bye.” said Elena as she went out of the school to the parking lot and drived home alone.

Elena turned out the light at her bedroom and out down the picture of her and Zick at the table beside her

‘Maybe I could get some sleep tonight.’ thought Elena as she cried and buried her head on her pillow.

Elena woke up in the middle of the night and cried hard, she couldn’t be heard by anyone in her house ‘cause there was no one there but her, since her mom and dad went to a party, and her brothers went to camp for two days already.

‘You’ve taken up all my time Zick. And I can’t believe I was stupid enough, to make you be the one that’s all I need to fall into. Guess you’re the only one who’s got enough to break my heart.’ thought Elena as she cried

Elena peeked outside her window and saw Zick stare at window, as if he was trying to spy on Elena, he looked at Elena with sorry eyes, as if he was trying to say sorry to her for something, Elena just faked a smile and closed the window and pulled loose the curtain.

Elena sobbed, she cried and cried until she couldn’t even cry anymore.

She took her guitar and played it and started to sing:

Someone barged in Elena’s room and she put down her guitar beside her bed.

“What are you doing here?” asked Elena as she wiped away her tears

“To say sorry, I broke up with Danica, I heard you sing from downstairs,and I’m sorry.”

“Wow, tough break. It’s just two days and you’ve already broke up with her.” said Elena

“It’s because I realized that I love someone else, I realized that I love the girl who’s been here to help me in everything, including hunting and capturing monsters. She’s the nicest person I’ve ever met, and I’m just hurting her. I realized that, I love you Elena.” said Zick as he blushed

“I love you too Zick.” said Elena as she hugged him

“I’m really so sorry Elena.”

“It’s ok, you’re forgiven.”

“I love your voice. It was clear and good, you didn’t tell me you could sing.”

“Shut up.” chuckled Elena

Zick kissed Elena on her forehead

“Goodnight Elena, it’s getting late.”

“You too. Aren’t you going home?”

“No, I’m sleeping here on the couch downstairs. You’re a girl Elena, you shouldn’t be left at your house all alone. What might happen to you,”

“Alright goodnight.”

“Goodnight. . .love ya.” said Zick as he closed the door
